Fruition Restaurant is a small, intimate neighborhood restaurant. We are located in central Denver's historic district. We serve chef Alex Seidel's interpretation of sophisticated comfort food paired with an eclectic wine list and impeccable service. Our menu and wine list will change seasonally throughout the year.

Please note: Due to the limited capacity of our dining room, Fruition Restaurant only accepts reservations for parties up to six Monday through Thursday and parties up to four Friday and Saturday, and Sunday.Continued

  • "Party of 4,. Small plates first were on a par with the restaurant type (above average local). Main courses were very good (my duck) to modest (undistinguished cod). Side dishes were excellent (fried mushrooms with the cod) to tasty. Dessert was a split between good ( the chocolate one) and awful (the apple bread pudding with cranberry sauce). The pudding was modest at best and the sauce was inedible. It tasted of sour vinegar. I told the waiter the kitchen should be notified of this. He said nothing and we found he had not charged us for the dish. That is a small consolation and did little to remove the bad taste from my mouth. Service was slow and not very attentive,"

  • "I am a Food and Beverage Director within the state and was thoroughly impressed with every plate that came out of the kitchen from apps to dessert. The flavor profiles were exact and demonstrating the Chef team put great thought into each dish. My wife and I have already decided to come back for our anniversary! The restaurant itself is "cozy" which isn't always a spectacular term for some restaurants...luckily, the food far overshadows the the ambiance and location to a point where I know I'll continue to return to dine."

  • "My God... My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here last year and we were blown away by the ambiance, food and kindness of the staff... Went back to have a casual dinner with an old friend this week and feel like this was James Beard Award winning food presentation without all the snobbery. The staff are still incredibly knowledgeable, funky and kind... My dinner was well paced, unbelievably delicious and beautiful.... Still talking about the experience three days later with friends.... I am a New York native and still cannot believe this resteraunt is in Denver."

  • "We started with the oysters rockefeller, wrapped in thin potatoes, lightly fried, served with cooked spinach and pistachio emulsion. We really liked these. The bread and butter were very good. I had scallops and clam fritters with a grain and grilled corn, very interesting and good in taste and texture. Husband wanted the walleye, but they'd just ran out so ordered cod, which was very good. Ordered Rhone Wine, Syrah, 11/glass which was great."

  • "I had the lamb with an appetizer and the portions were really small. The food was great their just wasn't enough of it. The time it took for our main dish to come out was way too long. We ordered at about 840 and our food want out for an hour. That's way too long to wait in my opinion. The overall experience i have to say was a bit of a bust. Given how far out in advance you have to make reservations for this place, I think it's just not worth it."

  • "Good quality food - according to the waitress , most of the ingredients comes for their own farm , wich it's great. Their Mozarella is delicious , dessert was yummy - fish was average -- service: slow but friendly and very polite , perhaps it was just one of those nights -- we were glad to go/ but if we were living in the area I am not sure we would become a regular."

  • "We celebrated our anniversary at Fruition and we were not disappointed. They made us feel special all night. We did not feel rushed. We are not drinkers so the wine was not pushed on us. The wait staff was excellent. They were there when we wanted but not overbearing. The food was very good and with the appetizers it gave us a chance to try some things we might not normally try. Nice intimate atmosphere that gave you a feeling that you were special. While the meals are a bit more expensive they were worth. We spent 2 hours there and certainly got our moneys worth."

  • "Everytime I dine at Fruition the food is as good as any restaurant in Denver. The service, however, always manages to hurt my experience. We were seated right on our reservation time, but we waited at least 15 minutes for anyone to approach our table. We usually order a pre-dinner cocktail, but because of the wait, we went right to the wine instead. It took another 15 for the wine to be delivered. Then, another 15 for our server to return for our order. Our server said bread service would arrive before our first course. It didn't. Then, we waited over a half hour for our second course. The most disappointing part was that the table next to us had friends of the restaurant who received great service and let us know what could have been."

  • "Gay best friend and I had date night at Fruition. I was looking for a place where we could splurge on an incredible experience and spend an evening of good food, good laughs, and good scotch. Fruition delivered beyond my wildest dreams. The food was all so incredibly delicious, they have sour red ales and Macallan 12 year. We spent 3 hours there, and due to our late reservation were the last couple in the restaurant, but the staff were welcoming and chatty and did not rush us in the least. I would absolutely recommend Fruition!"

  • "I made reservations for my wife's birthday two weeks in advance of visiting Fruition (and I let them know it was her birthday). It was our first time there, and we had heard nothing but rave reviews. We showed up and were told a couple was just signing their bill and the table would be just a couple minutes. People left the restaurant...and we kept waiting...and waiting...and waiting. At the same time, most of the people who were also waiting were offered a glass of wine. Not us. The service finally improved a bit once we got inside, though it still wasn't great. The food was delicious!"

  • "Always a good choice for a fine meal. The service was wonderful, and the food was perfectly prepared. We enjoyed the duck and a special treat was the cucumber salad, which was a tasty and amazing work of art. The restaurant is quiet… a rare treat today… And you can enjoy a visit with your dining companions. Good for a romantic dinner or a special meal. My out-of-town guests especially love it."

It was my birthday and we were from out of town, not only did they help my husband get fresh flowers for the table, they printed happy birthday on my menu. It was that type of personal touch. The risotto and fig sauce was savory and sweet and a great compliment to the perfectly cooked duck. To top it off the service was excellent. I highly recommend this quaint place, especially for a special occasion!"

  • "Based on the mainly positive reviews we decided to try Fruition while in Denver. We were not disappointed. All staff were very friendly making us feel welcome. The menu is not huge, but well thought out and in our opinion adequate. We are not big eaters so we found the portion sizes just right and of course you can always add desert! The presentation or 'plating up' of our meals was first class and the various textures and flavours were perfectly balanced. Everyone who enjoys good food should go to Fruition at least once in their culinary journey."

  • "I'm a total foodie/chef business owner, and I'm moving out of state next week. I asked via FB what were the top 3 restaurants I had to try before leaving. Fruition was the #1 suggestion. I totally feel it lived up to its reputation! We were celebrating a birthday and the restaurant even made sure the Birthday Girl got a menu with "Happy Birthday" on it; what a beautiful, thoughtful touch!!! Great atmosphere, Excellent service and the food was really fabulous; great plating, and presentation as well as taste! We got 4 different entrees (Duck, Walleye, Lamb, and Scallops), and with one tiny exception (my MR lamb was slightly overcooked), we couldn't decide which entree was our fave! The black cherry mille feuille was AMAZING!!!"

  • "I had the grazing vegetarian entree and the portion was ridiculously small. The starter for the vegetarian entree was basically a small house salad. The "main" course for the vegetarian entree was basically a larger house salad over some tomato sauce. Portions way too small for 25 bucks. And also, they skimp on the bread as if its some protected natural resource. Seriously just one slice at a time? The whole setup is indicative of how cheap the owners are. Not going back. And not recommending to any of my friends or colleagues at work."
