Fruition Restaurant is a small, intimate neighborhood restaurant. We are located in central Denver's historic district. We serve chef Alex Seidel's interpretation of sophisticated comfort food paired with an eclectic wine list and impeccable service. Our menu and wine list will change seasonally throughout the year.

Please note: Due to the limited capacity of our dining room, Fruition Restaurant only accepts reservations for parties up to six Monday through Thursday and parties up to four Friday and Saturday, and Sunday.Continued

  • "I took my boyfriend here for dinner for his birthday. The restaurant custom made his menu to say Happy Birthday at the top. The food was delicious. We both got the duck. The risotto and fig sauce was savory and sweet and a great compliment to the perfectly cooked duck. To top it off the service was excellent. I highly recommend this quaint place, especially for a special occasion!"

The menu is not huge, but well thought out and in our opinion adequate. We are not big eaters so we found the portion sizes just right and of course you can always add desert! The presentation or 'plating up' of our meals was first class and the various textures and flavours were perfectly balanced. Everyone who enjoys good food should go to Fruition at least once in their culinary journey."

I totally feel it lived up to its reputation! We were celebrating a birthday and the restaurant even made sure the Birthday Girl got a menu with "Happy Birthday" on it; what a beautiful, thoughtful touch!!! Great atmosphere, Excellent service and the food was really fabulous; great plating, and presentation as well as taste! We got 4 different entrees (Duck, Walleye, Lamb, and Scallops), and with one tiny exception (my MR lamb was slightly overcooked), we couldn't decide which entree was our fave! The black cherry mille feuille was AMAZING!!!"

  • "I had the grazing vegetarian entree and the portion was ridiculously small. The starter for the vegetarian entree was basically a small house salad. The "main" course for the vegetarian entree was basically a larger house salad over some tomato sauce. Portions way too small for 25 bucks. And also, they skimp on the bread as if its some protected natural resource. Seriously just one slice at a time? The whole setup is indicative of how cheap the owners are. Not going back. And not recommending to any of my friends or colleagues at work."

Some of the glitches: In the Potato-Wrapped Oysters Rockefeller starter, potatoes way over done, leaving a slightly burnt taste, waiter said that is how the chef likes to do it - I suspect not; the Salmon Creek Farms Roasted Pork Tenderloin entree somewhat drier than expected (pattern with too much heat emerging?); Green Garlic Consommé not hot enough - oh well. Flavors wonderfully paired and often intense. Very nice selection of wines and beer."

A note on wine list, you will not find a book-like-menu with an extensive wine list at Fruition, there is no need for one, instead, you will find a one page of wines that pair wonderfully with the menu! Deserts are another item worth mentioning, as they offer sweet and savory deserts. Everyone will find something on the menu that they will enjoy. The restaurant has a very comfortable noise level; one can hold a conversation at a normal voice volume. Service is friendly and attentive but not intrusive."

  • "Not sure how we became so disappointed we were completely excited about trying this restaurant out for a special night. The food from the appetizer to the dessert was quite disappointing! I have to say it was bland to say the least, I love fish and was excited to hear that this was a seared light dish and I actually felt ill after eating it, I went home with an upset stomach. My husband is a steak guy and this was just too raw and the potatoes were average, It was not a tasteful experience were my senses were tantalized one bit. Another disappointing factor was that the hostess was very cold not welcoming not sure if that was the owner but I would not recommend this place to any of my friends"
