"Front Street Grill is a great "neighborhood" restaurant... Staff is friendly and accommodating. Though I made a reservation through Open Table, they never received notification, but they fit us in anyway on a hugely busy night (before the Whidbey Marathon) The food is consistently good and portion sizes are just right -- not overwhelmingly large. Many dishes have a smaller option, something I appreciate. Even on a night when the restaurant was extremely busy, the staff did its best to serve us. We have eaten here when things were less hectic and had wonderful dinners -- a bit more quickly served! Don't miss the green curry mussels!"

"My husband and I usually go to Front Street Grill for dinner but went for lunch on this occasion. We got there 15 minutes early and were seated immediately at a reserved table next to the window. It was a Monday in late March and a quiet day in this tourist town with about a dozen patrons in the dining room and bar. There's a beautiful view of Penn Cove from both areas. Our waiter was a mature gentleman who was attentive and knew the menu as well as wine pairing. Bread was served with balsamic vinegar and oil. We shared a seafood fettuccini and a large chopped salad. Both were generous and excellent. We occasionally catch a local band talent on Wed evenings here. We like that they accept Open Table, one of the few on the island that do."

"The food was over the top perfection. The appitizers Wow. The table settings was perfect while overlooking the water front. Overall one of the best meals that I have had in a very long time."

"Yet another wonderful dining experience! Manager, Sean, came up with some new and yummy dishes and the service was attentive,yet,not intrusive. A scenic view of the Coupeville wharf and Mt. Baker complete the already delightful experience. The gift of a long stem red rose was surely a romantic touch, as well!"

"We like to support local businesses/restaurants! We've been to FSG a few times. It's a nice menu. It looks like the staff works very hard. The wagyu burger is excellent and the pasta is great!!!"
