Diner Reviews
  • "My boyfriend and I went to Fritti on a Friday night. It was a wonderful experience. We sat in the covered patio; it was so lovely sitting outside while the sun went down and people passed by walking around Inman Park. We started with the almond encrusted goat cheese, arugula, peppers and olive salad. Each bite was an explosion of flavors in my mouth. We shared it and it was more than enough for two people for an appetizer. For our entrees we shared the Cotto e Funghi pizza. The pizza was INCREDIBLE. Authentic Italian pizza. Felt like I was in Rome. Our server was also very friendly and helped us select what to order. We will definitely be going back!"

  • "We brought an out of town guest who loves pizza to Fritti for dinner. Neopolitan style pizza can be difficult; lots of places serve up "vero pizza Napolitana" that has a soggy crust (or crust that gets soggy quickly). I've eaten pizza at Fritti several times, and each time the crust has stayed crisp and tasty. The funghi fritti is always a delicious starter with a cold beer, the salads are fresh and suitable for sharing, and we like the spiedini di manzo (which also comes with a large side-salad portion of arugula salad so be prepared if ordering salad as well.). A whole page of pizza options makes decision-making difficult but whets your appetite! We finished the meal with the white chocolate bread pudding, tasty and not overly sweet."

  • "What a refreshing late lunch this traveler had. I enjoyed a very comfortable restaurant with such a relaxed feeling, food that chefs prepared must have been the best I've tasted, and a knowledgeable staff with great attitudes, that were there with recommendations, items, etc. . Love the decor' What more could you ask for? Thanks Fritti!"

  • "Was there to celebrate my birthday, our table was shaky and dripped water on my brother from the roof, our server sucked which is a shame because I am in the service industry. She forgot our drinks and was very uninterested in us, as great as the food was and great the view was I will never be back. Sorry."

  • "We always eat at Sister restaurant, Sotto Sotto and this was our first time to dine at Fritti. talk about two completely different atmospheres. We had a shared meal of appetizers, each one great on it's own and leaving us wanting more. The margarita pizza, was delicious, very tender crust and we finished each morsel. Good place to sit back, relax and enjoy great pizza. Sit outside and people watch"

  • "Reservation was right on time and we got a great corner table on the patio on a beautiful evening. Server was pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. We had a couple pizzas--yum! and a salmon entree. All hot and very tasty. Would recommend Fritti in a heartbeat and we will be back."

  • "Fritti brought back memories from the time my family and I resided in Italy for 4 years. This was our first time eating here and even hearing about the place. We will definitely return for more authentic Napoli and Tuscan Italian dishes."

  • "When we first walked in we were greeted by a smiling, perky hostess that took us to a perfect table outside where we could sit in the sunshine and enjoy the breeze. Our server was prompt, polite, and full of tasty recommendations for wine and pizza. The food itself was delicious and worthy of a return visit. Try out the speck y rucola for a pizza and ask for Albert! Will return!"

  • "Out with a few girlfriends after work. We were seated promptly although the staff forgot we were there for a while. Once they remembered us the service was great. The cocktail I had was very good and the pizza was just what I wanted. Overall, a good spot."

  • "Unfortunately we were running late to our reservation but we were seated promptly with a great view of the tv to watch the soccer. The service was great with a full dining room. The manager even let us order some pasta from the Sotto menu. All in all it was a great experience."

  • "We were there during a World Cup game and it was definitely a lively atmosphere. It made for a fun experience. The food came out perfectly timed and the service was superb even though it was obviously a bit busier than normal. Quick tip: try the fungi Fritti (flavorful with a perfect crunch) as well as the panna cotta!"

  • "We were promptly greeted and escorted to the patio. Unpon discovering that it was too hot out we were offer seating inside. We were able to view the FIFA Sports on big screen tv. There were big screens for viewing in every direction. the ambiance was warm and relaxing. The food was fresh and well prepared. The wait was brief and our waiter was very attentive. It was a great Father's day celebration. We love this place."

  • "We went Saturday at 5:45pm to beat the crowd, only to realize it was full of people cheering for Italy in the World Cup. That added to the ambience, especially when they scored and won! Went with my wife and preteen daughters. Bruschetta was very good, as was the marguerite pizza. Tuna salad was ok, but nothing special. We enjoyed the server's wine selections. Restaurant was noisy but could have been due to soccer game. Definitely recommend and would go back."

  • "Pizza like you get in Italy .. Many selections and cooked perfectly. Salads were nice too - we had the salad with tuna which is very Italian and something my grand, other used to make. Service was nice and we thoroughly enjoyed it. "

  • "My husband and I had a great date at Fritti! Awesome fresh food, service and atmosphere. This was our 2nd time and we will be back. "

  • "This is my favorite place for pizza. Plus, the goat cheese salad is one of my favorite appetizers. So the food was great. The only problem was that there were not enough servers for all of the tables. Our server did not serve our food and thus the guy who brought out our pizzas got them wrong. Not good since my husband doesn't eat pork and he was eating my prosciutto pizza until I figured out the mistake!"

  • "Our server was beyond rude. Thus making our experience worth not coming back."

  • "Fritti is our favorite place for pizza in the city! Its a great spot and the pizza is consistently delicious!! "

  • "Continuing to set the standard for Atlanta for authentic Neapolitan pizza, the appetizers also set high standards. The fried calamari, or mushrooms, or arancini are all excellent and highly recommended. For pizzas, the Margharita (add salami or sausage) is perfect, with the correctly crisp and golden thin crust and the proper balance of tomato sauce and cheese on top. Wine list includes reasonably priced "pizza wines" that pair well with the meal. While outdoor seating is somewhat limited, if the weather is good, it is a great place to sit (under a giant umbrella) and watch the neighborhood activities."

  • "If you love pizza, and you love little neighborhood restaurants, then Fritti is a great spot for you. Their shaded outdoor patio is one of the best in the cities and this is a fun place for groups to go."

  • "Still the best choice for proper Italian food and the best VPN (authentic Neapolitan) pizza in town. Great people here working and delivering great appetizers and food. Wine list is good, and decently priced. Highly recommend"

  • "This Inman Park neighborhood restaurant has bee a favorite for years. The area around Elizabeth and Highland Streets has changed a lot over the past few years.. Some businesses have come and gone, but Fritti remains solid as ever. The food, service and atmosphere are great. Definitely my choice for pizza in Atlanta. "

  • "The Stracchinella pizza with garlic and oregano has excellent flavor and the ingredients fresh. The Panna Cotta topped with lemon zest made for a flavorful dessert. If rye is to your liking, then the Billy Bathgate is perfect. Kody, the server, is the perfect host. He is attentive, friendly and extremely helpful. Fritti is the perfect place for a pizza experience."

  • "I made a reservation ahead of time and when we arrived we were sat in the middle of the restaurant. We asked to move to the table near the street, but were told it was taken. The lady filled our water glasses and later the waitress came by and just said " ready to order?" Not hello, eat dirt, nothing We ordered drinks and appetizer and again "Ready to order?" We said we needed a minute. We did order entree, but everything came out at the same time...I was barely touching my salad when my pizza came. Annoying."

  • "As always, the food was fantastic. But the service, which is almost always rushed, rushed, rushed, had an added problem time around that I haven't had before - surliness. Our server was just kind of surly. Not that we expect happy, smiley, bubbly - but cordial would be nice."

  • "The food and the presentation were exquisite, perhaps better than ever. This is a restuarant for repeat customers: you can visit over and over without running out of old favorites and new tastes."

  • "Fritti's is casual dining with delicious food. The Bruschetta is attractively plated and delicious. The Regina pizza (cheese, basil and tomatoes) was flavorful and fresh. For a finishing touch, the Mascarpone, a version of Tiramisu, is the perfect ending to a perfect meal. If you appreciate the Negroni cocktail, indulge. It is perfectly prepared. If you prefer Rye in your beverage, the Billy Bathgate is a must. Kody was our server and he was impressive. He is exceptional at customer service. Not only was he attentive, professional and helpful, he went the extra distance, extending himself to ensure a wonderful dining experience with recommendations resulting from his observations. Look forward to our next visit to Fritti."

  • "We had a reservation for 8:00 p.m., when we arrived at that time our friends were a few minutes behind us. We checked in, and the manager asked if we had a preference of where we would like to sit because he had two options open for us at that time. When our friends arrived five minutes later, there was no table for us. We ended up waiting, awkwardly by the entrance for forty more minutes before we were seated. Luckily we had a wonderful waitress and it was great food. Not so lucky, was that they ran out of the vodka that they were making my drink with..."

  • "I was happy to introduce a NY colleague to this little slice of a place. Dinner was quite good, service was spot on, and the ambience - sitting on the enclosed patio - a great respite from the NY cold. As food-focused as NYers can be, my colleague was impressed with our dining experience."
