Diner Reviews
  • "I made a reservation ahead of time and when we arrived we were sat in the middle of the restaurant. We asked to move to the table near the street, but were told it was taken. The lady filled our water glasses and later the waitress came by and just said " ready to order?" Not hello, eat dirt, nothing We ordered drinks and appetizer and again "Ready to order?" We said we needed a minute. We did order entree, but everything came out at the same time...I was barely touching my salad when my pizza came. Annoying."

  • "As always, the food was fantastic. But the service, which is almost always rushed, rushed, rushed, had an added problem time around that I haven't had before - surliness. Our server was just kind of surly. Not that we expect happy, smiley, bubbly - but cordial would be nice."

  • "The food and the presentation were exquisite, perhaps better than ever. This is a restuarant for repeat customers: you can visit over and over without running out of old favorites and new tastes."

  • "Fritti's is casual dining with delicious food. The Bruschetta is attractively plated and delicious. The Regina pizza (cheese, basil and tomatoes) was flavorful and fresh. For a finishing touch, the Mascarpone, a version of Tiramisu, is the perfect ending to a perfect meal. If you appreciate the Negroni cocktail, indulge. It is perfectly prepared. If you prefer Rye in your beverage, the Billy Bathgate is a must. Kody was our server and he was impressive. He is exceptional at customer service. Not only was he attentive, professional and helpful, he went the extra distance, extending himself to ensure a wonderful dining experience with recommendations resulting from his observations. Look forward to our next visit to Fritti."

  • "We had a reservation for 8:00 p.m., when we arrived at that time our friends were a few minutes behind us. We checked in, and the manager asked if we had a preference of where we would like to sit because he had two options open for us at that time. When our friends arrived five minutes later, there was no table for us. We ended up waiting, awkwardly by the entrance for forty more minutes before we were seated. Luckily we had a wonderful waitress and it was great food. Not so lucky, was that they ran out of the vodka that they were making my drink with..."

  • "I was happy to introduce a NY colleague to this little slice of a place. Dinner was quite good, service was spot on, and the ambience - sitting on the enclosed patio - a great respite from the NY cold. As food-focused as NYers can be, my colleague was impressed with our dining experience."

  • "The vegetarian pizza was one of the best pizzas I've ever had! Much better pizza than mellow mushroom in my opinion, fast service, close to a lot of other popular restaurants. Great choice for restaurant week!"

  • "The pizza is good but the services is like the waitress are on a hurry, I hate when you are finishing your plate and they take the plate..."

  • "There is no doubt in my mind that Fritti makes the best pizza in town or even in the southeast. I also love their wine selection and the entire experience is wonderful! Check out their spiedini's as well."

  • "Our food, the most important of eating out, was great and that's really all that matters. But, when you go out and decide to spend your money on a restaurant, you would think the server would be grateful. There are so many restaurants to choose from, that even a smile would've been appreciated. James R was clearly unhappy to be at work. He never smiled. Forgot items. Forgot to refill drinks. Looked annoyed the whole time. I even had to get up and get the pepper mill myself after waiting 5 min after getting my salad. Again, food was great but service was lacking this night."

  • "I used to be a Fritti regular. Not sure what happened but about a year ago it went downhill and it's still there. My pizza was OK, slightly cold and just OK. Crust was OK too but slightly undercooked."

  • "Still excellent after all these years. Love this place. Great pizza, unique toppings offered on the menu, outstanding wine list. Huge covered patio, good service, great energy. A+"

  • "I went here for a birthday dinner and found that a few of my friends cancelled last minute. The hostess was accommodating and helped work things out. It was really loud and hard for us to hear each other around the table but otherwise was a good meal and a good price."

  • "The fritti at Fritti -- the calamari fritti, that is -- are always good, but the pizza is good only when it is hot. On Saturday night you take your chances because the restaurant is not always quite up to the challenge of those huge crowds that descend."

  • "I have been going to Fritti for 6 yreas. The quality of the pizza is just not the same. I am not sure I will give them another chance to improve . Sotto Sotto is consistently fabulous, maybe the owner needs to spend some more time at Fritti Fritti"

  • "We had 7:00 pm reservations and were seated at 7:40. What is the point of reservations if you cannot seat people at the time they requested? Fritti needs to work on their sequencing with regard to reservations."

  • "When we first arrived the wait time was 45 to an hour!!!! So i took the liberty of using open table to secure my spot which it only took us 10 minutes to be seated. I took my step daughter out for a date and it was up to her what she wanted and ordered. We ordered the sashimi tuna, we loved it.. Then we ordered just a pizza with arugula on top.. Every true italian pie needs arugula! We loved it. The service was on point even though it was busy around. We will be back with the family. Her favorite was the Panna Cotta. Just unbelievable with the 12 yr old balsamic vinegar... made it taste citrusy! Thank you!"

  • "The food, presentation and etc were all well worth the money spent. The Pizza was good. It was slightly bigger than a medium, but smaller than a large. So at $13.00 per pizza it was not bad at all when it came to price. Definitely will take some friends and family back there."

  • "This is the second restaurant I've tried in this restaurant group and overall I am disappointed. The food did not taste good. I ordered a lemon pizza and my husband ordered another pizza with capers. The small plate of salmon and spinach was tasty though."

  • "Decided to have a late dinner at Fritti. Our reservations were at 9:00 and I was shocked as to how crowded it was when we arrived. We were seated my 9:15. My server was delightful. He provided excellent service and reccomendations. We enjoyled a bottle of Montepulciano and ordered two pizza's for the table. These are traditional Napoletana Pizza's. Fresh ingredients and full of creative flavor."

  • "I eat here often and am never disappointed by the authentic and delicious pizza! I like that they have many pizzas to choose from whose ingredients combinations work very well. Other places have a more "build your own" type menu. Be prepared to pay about $13 for a small 9 inch pizza, but soooo worth it. So tasty, fresh, and rustic. Ambience is on trendy and modern. Parking can be a problem to find. I wish the servers were a little more approachable and nice and that service was more consistently good. Sometimes it is slow, angry, and uninspired."

  • "Went with a party of 6. My group included two kids. It's not super kid-friendly place, but my 3 and 5 year old did fine. The restaurant had other kids there. One person in my group wasn't thrilled with their pizza (it was a little soggy) but overall we had a great time."

  • "Service was amazing! Food was delicious, probably the best pizza in atlanta. The ingredients were fresh. The waitress was very nice. The restaurant handled the addition to our 8 person party graciously and quickly even with a crowded restaurant."

  • "Had the calamari, Regina margarita pizza, pineapple, gargonzola pizza, Caesar salad, chianti, and bread pudding. ( not me alone, I had company)! All were delicious. I would ask for more sauce and basil on the margarita pizza next time, but it was still good. I liked the other pizza better, but it was an entirely different taste. Salad was small, not meal size. Loved the chianti and it was the cheapest offering on the wine list. Bread pudding was great, but ask for extra sauce, a little sparse. Yes, I would go back. Very cozy so don't be an introvert. You will be elbow to elbow with your neighbors, but that makes it just like any restaurant in NYC!"

  • "We had a good experience with the food, but our reservation was for 8:30 and we weren't seated until a few minutes after 9. Our waiter didn't have very good knowledge of the wine menu and the tables against the wall are crammed together. It was a little like having a neighborhood conversation. The atmosphere was very lively which added to the difficulty of having a conversation without shouting so everyone around you could hear. We could hear their conversations as well. The floor arrangement didn't make for an intimate dinner. We will probably return, but maybe a Sunday afternoon."

  • "It isn't the closest but the best & worth the drive. It was just like when I lived in Italy & my husband is Sicilian Italian. We loved our dining experience . We look forward to our next meal & will come back frequently . We live 30 mins away but will drive back & come for a trip back to a taste of Italy even though we are living here in USA. It was so delicious. We really loved it & my husband is so set in his ways that he never wants to venture out of our area & his comfort zone but he even said maybe we can try other places in that area. WOW that was a big step for him. We will be back . Hazelnut Nutella pie for dessert it was Devine."

  • "This was my first time visiting Fritti but it certainly won't be the last. The pizza was excellent. The combination of ingredients was spot-on. I had the gorganzola/pineapple/balsamic vinegar pizza and it was delicious. The crust on this pizza was outstanding and cooked perfectly. This is definitelly my new favorite pizza place in Atlanta!"
