  • "Scott was a superb waiter. He was very attentive to our needs and was very helpful with our selections. It was a grand experience!"

  • "We were seated before our reservation time and in a spot that was perfect. Our waiter Ron was an absolute professional. Unfortunately the food did not live up to the reputation of the restaurant. My wife steak was too rare to eat and my fish had a strange taste to it. I know we should've said something to Ron did not want to ruin the moment. The steak was ordered to be medium but came out somewhere between rare and medium rare. We love the atmosphere and the view that's available from this restaurant having been here several times before. I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to deal with Ron. It will be a while before we return. We have had good meals there before but unfortunately this was not one of them. Don Hess"

  • "Friday's Station was fantastic on a Thursday night and I bet it would be just as awesome every night of the week! I had the Swordfish which was absolutely the best I've ever had! Don't miss out on their special "Snoopy" salad which is spectacular along with the molten chocolate cake!"

  • "Friday's Station is always excellent, food, atmosphere, view and staff. Ron was our waiter for the evening and he's always extremely friendly and personable."

  • "Only one complaint, when I made our reservation I had asked for a quiet booth with a view. However, we were shown to a table with a view of a parking lot. I had to ask two times if we could have the last available booth with a view before we finally got it. We shared a Caesar salad. It was your typical Caesar salad without any anchovies, but with a nice cheese crouton. My husband ordered the smoked rib-eye and it was very good. I ordered the 12 oz prime rib and it had to be at least 1 lb. It was very good and very lean, but cooked too much. They brought out another one and it was cooked as requested."

  • "I have eaten at this location several times and to be frank, the service as well as the food is top notch. The staff is friendly without being overbearing. I love that they make you feel five star, even if your in jeans and a tee shirt. I would and have recommended this place to many of my friends, i explain they are pricy but well worth every penny spent. i look forward to returning to this location for another fine dinding experience (im only half ay through their menu :)..."

  • "This is one of the best views of the lake you can get. At the 18th floor you can see well above the tress. We had a window seat that was just great. The waiter Ron has been around and is very engaging. He makes himself part of the experience and is willing to go the extra mile to make sure your happy. The food is very good and portions are well sized, but expensive. If the Halibut with lobster in on the menu go for it. Make this a go to spot for sure,"

  • "Excellent food and service, and an amazing view of the sunset over Lake Tahoe. No wonder we dine here every time we are in South Lake Tahoe."

  • "Dined here several times over the years. Always been impressed by every aspect. Unfortunately this year we had a rude waiter. That detracted from the experience for everyone."

  • "Our seating was last of the evening, 8:45pm. We were both very thirsty when we arrived and it took about 5-7 minutes after seating before we received water. Salad was late in arriving. Ambiance warm and staff was very friendly and knowledgeable; refills of water and ice tea were numerous and timely after initial offering. Rib eye flavorful, cooked right but too much fat and a little gristle (marbling); lobster was dry however crab legs and scallops very good, both our broccoli was very thin and dry (I had two little pieces), something I would expect at a mall food court plus the 2 very tiny little carrots ends were not cut and looked sad. Potatoes good. Evening Salad Special had two tiny little shrimp, the rest was OK, not great."

  • "Great food and service. You will never have to ask for more water, or have to pour your own wine. But be prepared to pay for this exceptional experience. Snoopy salad and escargot is excellent. Chilean Sea Bass with the lobster tail was the best entrée on our table of 5. T-bone and veal chop was good, not great. This was our second time there, and there is a big difference in the ambiance when you sit by the window (scenic view), instead of on the upper level of the restaurant."

  • "Went to Friday's Steak Station (on a Friday at that)!!! Service was the utmost best part of our meal. Attentive waitstaff made our dining experience and we were treated elegantly. The steak and seafood themselves were delicious but not the best I've ever had (but definitely ate most of it and it was very enjoyable). Wine selection was great as were the dessert choices. If you want good steak/seafood near/in casinos at Tahoe, I would definitely recommend this place and would go back."

  • "The view was amaizing, They knew we were celebrating my husbands birthday and gave is one of their best tables (perfect view). Also, I had asked them to please put a birthday candle on our dessert and they actually brought a complementary birthday cake (for 2) very pretty and very well done. The food was delicious, I had the special of bass and tempura lobster tail. And it was amazing!. My husband ordered a fillet mignon with crab legs and he loved it as well. All the sea food and fish were very fresh!. And service really good! As you expect in this kind of places."

  • "I have dined at this wonderful restaurant before (but it had been 25 years ago)...nothing has changed. The food, delicious, the wine list, impressive, the view, breath taking. Our waiter, Ian, was both knowledgable and personable. I can't recommend this restaurant enough...oh...but bring a large wallet...!"

  • "A little to noisy for a past elegant restaurant. Also, the attire was a bit to casual. It always had a reputation of being the top of the mark place to eat."

  • "At the last minute a friend decided I needed a get-away for my 50th B-day, so a nice dinner was a must. I read reviews and selected Friday's Station since we were also staying in the hotel. What a dinner and a wonderful way to treat myself! From the moment you are greeting by the gentleman in a tux, to the time you sit in most any table with a gorgeous view of the strip - it is a wonderful dining experience. Service was friendly, prompt, and professional,. Food was terrific - French Onion soup was delicious and my Filet was cooked perfectly - often harder to do since I like mine cooked a bit more,. They brought me a small dessert on the house with a candle as well. Highly recommend!"

  • "We went to Friday's Station twice during our stay at Harrah's and were not disappointed either time. The mixed drinks are fantastic, the service is very attentive and the food is delicious. The best french onion soup I have ever had! Everyone in our party enjoyed their dinners, whether fish or steaks. Even at night when you can't see the lake, tables by the window are great. We went early one night and had a drink in the lounge and watched the sun set before dinner."

  • "Rick Lemley, Casino Host, greeted us in the casino and upon learning we were there for our 30th anniversary gave us a coupon for two glasses of wine when dining at Fridays Station. We really appreciated his kindness. At the restaurant, Bob remembered us from previous visits and seated us at the perfect table. Our server, Scott, also remembered us and we were happy to have him work with us again. Dinner was perfect as was the complimentary dessert. Thanks to all, William and Debbie Bowles"

  • "We opted for an early dinner prior to attending a concert and chose Friday's Station. We were seated at a booth that had a wonderful view of Lake Tahoe. Our waiter, Michael, was prompt to get our drink orders and point out the night's specials. The wine list was fairly extensive and quite pricey. My wife was pleased with the Caesar salad. We both ordered the 10 ounce filet and we both enjoyed it. The steaks were perfectly cooked and tasty - excellent cuts of meat. Michael was attentive without hovering. All in all, it was an enjoyable meal."

  • "Friday's Station is a wonderful restaurant on the 18th floor ofHarrah's casino overlooking Lake Tahoe. They have wonderful service and make for a great date. I was Tahoe with my wife for our honeymoon and this was my favorite restaurant of the several higher end restaurants we went to. Note that the restaurant name makes it sound cheap and commercially, but it's actually named after the pony express that previously occupied the location."

  • "We come from New Jersey and come to Lake Tahoe at least once a year and stay at Harrahs or Harveys. One of the things we always do is dine at Fridays. Never disappointed. A great restaurant. I always get the King Crab legs and my wife gets one of the steaks. The she finishes her dinner with one of the best chocolate mousse she ahs ever had. Looking forward to next year!"

  • "I have to say the service was above great. Our servers were Fidel and Tom were amazing. They went out of their way to make our anniversary even better. The view was amazing. The food was terrific. We have the Alaskan King crab legs and they made it so easy to get the meat out. I could go on and on about the service the food and the view but it would not do it justice. A must see if you come visit Southlake Tahoe."

  • "Since this restaurant was on the top floor, we took advantage of the spectacular view. Even at night with the lights it's amazing. Service was awesome. When my husband asked if they had a peppercorn sauce for the fillets, our server requested some especially for him as a birthday treat. We enjoyed the warmth and smiles of our server and his assistant! Would highly recommend the 10 oz fillet. Found out later that they also offer an 8 ounce that is not on the menu and I would've enjoyed that more as I was unable to finish my entire steak. Will definitely return on our next visit to Lake Tahoe."

  • "Besides the more then exquisite food, the ambiance and scenery is perfect for that special occasion or romantic evening. The view during both night and days allows you to really appreciate the true beauty of Lake Tahoe and it's city life. The service is like no other. They all have class and to top if off have a great personality to make you feel as if you were in the comfort of your own home. This is a must visit location for all visitors!"

  • "Really lovely after a day of skiing. VIEWS ARE SPECTACULAR! Alex was our server and he was gracious, knowledgeable and friendly. We started with Blue Point oysters and the Snoopy Salad...do not hesitate to order this salad as the ingredients are fresh and the dressing is very good! We had the seafood special which was a tempura lobster tail served with sea bass and an amazing sweet chili sauce and a huge veal chop done correctly....a little on the rare side. Dessert was simple.with berries and cream. Wine list is nice, covers many regions and is reasonably priced for a resort area. Go early and enjoy a.cocktail ad the view....ask for.Alex!"

  • "Our reservation process went fine. We reserved a quiet, romantic table for two. The problems were with the maitre d'. He tried to seat us in the back corner of the restaurant in the wait staff traffic next to a table with crying children. It was 5:30 and the restaurant was largely empty. At a glance, I saw about 10 other acceptable tables. The maitre d' said these tables were not available because they were reserved. I reminded him that we were one of those reservations. I was told that no other tables were available. We thanked him for his time and left. I cannot comment on the food quality, we did not eat there."

  • "Tony and Chico were our server and busboy. They had excellent taste, personality, and were on point. they had excellent selection choices and made sure to circle back constantly to make sure we were constantly satisfied. Because they did that they not only made extra in tip but added on to our bill! This is what restaurants should be all about. Make sure you check this place out!"

  • "I live in town, and I've been to this restaurant a few times, so I sort of knew what I was in for. It's a nice setting, and the service is good. However, entres start at $43 and go way up from there. That's ok, but at $43, if I order Ono and shrimp, and the give me, 1 good sixe prawn, 1 average size scallop, and (?) 3 ounces of fish, it better be perfect. The prawn and scallop were fine but the fish was way over cooked. It was a brick. So they brought out a tiny piece of sea bass that was better cooked but tasted mealy. Bummer. I felt like a ripped off tourist. I know doing this is hard, but if I spend $175 for dinner for 2 I expect more. Previous visits there for lunch were great. Appropriate pricing and portions, Nice views (18th) floor"
