A word from Frevo - Fairmont The Palm
One of the city’s only authentic Brazilian Churrascaria experience, Frevo is ideally suited for gatherings of families and friends in the mood for fun, frivolity and flavourful food. Savour succulent cuts of meat, all served in espeto corridor style, originating from South Brazil where skewers of lamb, beef and chicken are carved at the table. Boasting a large selection of exotic and colourful salads with a Salad-ista preparing customized dishes for guests, Frevo also features a large collection of cachaça (distilled beverage made of sugar cane) based cocktails, including the world famous Caipirinha. Live music each night will reflect the vibrant tempo of Brazilian carnival.

  • Brazilian Churrascaria at its best
    Dined on 3/9/2013
At the Fairmont Hotel, Palm Jumeriah, Brazilian Churrascaria is at its best, and never tasted so good. I knew that I was in the mood for a Brazilian Steakhouse, and as normal opentable delivered. The name of the restaurant is called Frevo, and let me tell you, that it now tops the list of the best Churrasco style restaurants I have ever eaten. I tried Fogo de Chow in Atlanta, and Brasa in Niagara, Canada, but it is the subtle differences in the end that make all the differences in the world. When I was seated, as normal, the server explained how the meal would proceed, as Churrascaria is a new style that not everyone is familiar with yet. See the rest of the review:

A pretty dull place with no atmosphere. Poorly designed with small windows and limited views. No style or flair despite attentive staff who tried hard. Very limited and expensive wine list. Some customers looked like they were dressed to put the rubbish out and had no respect for dress codes. Although this place is walking distance from home we will never return.
