A word from Freshcraft
We serve upscale comfort food in a casual atmosphere. Freshcraft is a great place for a quick lunch, a relaxing dinner, or something to fill you up after a night on the town. We make nearly all of our food from scratch using fresh ingredients and you can taste it. Our kitchen stays open late, serving a limited menu well past the regular dinner hour. Our huge selection of craft beers has been handpicked for pairing with the food. Of course they"re great to enjoy all on their own as well. Or, if wine or cocktails are more your thing, our bar is fully stocked with all of your favorites. Everyone is welcome at Freshcraft, and we look forward to seeing you here!Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "I've been here on a few occasions for dinner with friends and loved it. Great food with thoughtful beer pairings. I recently took my team here for a work lunch and was really pleased with the food and quality of service."

  • "A group of us went to Freshcraft for some drinks and apps before an Avs game. Good beer selection and plenty of options for non-beer drinkers. I really liked the meat and cheese platter. We'll be back to try more soon!"

  • "We love this place...the food, terrific revolving beer options, the service, are all great! We get email announcements about events, so we try to get in to eat/ drink at least monthly. Highly recommend!"

  • "Restaurant had a great beer selection and we received our drinks promptly which had me feeling good. However, the experience went downhill from there. Our server was relatively new and forgot one of our appetizers and one of our entrees. This was a birthday celebration and really threw off our evening. Despite this, they didn't try to do anything to rectify the situation. Additionally, the food was fine but didn't really differentiate itself from standard bar food."

  • "On a visit to Denver, my wife and I took a chance on Fresh Craft. Excellent, in-depth craft beer selection. Limited but well chosen wine list. Food selection was creative and wonderful on the palate. We shall return."

  • "I was so underwhelmed by Freshcraft. It took 10 minutes for anyone to stop by our table after we were seated, and even then it was only the hostess - it was another 5 minutes until our server came to take our order. He was totally nonchalant about the fact that he'd neglected to serve us, and even provided the excuse that he "had a few other tables," which frustrated me because as a server, of course he had other tables. A good server can handle them. The food was okay, but nothing worth going back for. I quite liked the ambiance and decor. I won't go out of my way to visit Freshcraft again."

  • "Great spot to get good food with a fantastic selection of craft beer, ranging from many great local beers to beers from all over the country. Has a nice warm feeling, appropriate for all classes for a casual evening. working at a hotel I recomend it to guests all the time."

  • "The food was fairly good. We ordered the wings and pretzel bites as an appetizer. Both were decent, the cheese sauce that came with the pretzels didn't have a whole lot of flavor. The wings were delicious, maybe a little over cooked. The mail dished were good, but nothing I would be dying to go back to eat again."

  • "This place not only has great food, but also a great craft beer selection. It is always a sure bet that you'll have a good experience."

  • "Strike 1: We arrived 20 early for our 5:00 PM reservations, the place was practically empty and hostest said we could not be seated until our entire group arrived. Non-sense in this situation, we complained, and were seated. Strike 2: The waitress visited our table to tell us we had to leave by 7:00 because another group has reservations at 7:00...this was rude and unnecessary. They gave us a 2 hour warning to leave, WTF, we just got there. Strike 3: The supervisor/mamager came to the table about 2 minutes later and told us the same thing...even the most casual observer would have noticed that two of us had on Av's jersy's, the game starts at 7:00, we were going to be out of there well before 7:00. Good Beer selection - Poor service"

  • "The service was great - our waiter was very pleasant. Other than that, I can't say I'll be back. Apparently they have a great happy hour, so if you want locally crafted beer and snacks, head on over!"

  • "Freshcraft offered +20 beers on tap including Ommegang, Boulevard, Deschutes, Funkworks and Odell. The beers were also not your usuals from these breweries. The music was at a moderate volume where table conversation can be heard. Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and other era contemporaries seemed to be the music of choice for the night. The pretzels were quite tasty as well. It was a good start to a nice date."

  • "Our sandwiches were outstanding, but the service left a lot to be desired. When we first arrived it took over a long time to even get someone to take our drink order. The wait staff never checked to see if we needed anything or if everything was alright. Overall, I'd go back and give them a second chance, just hope for better service."

  • "From the moment we walked in, I was happy...lots of people @ the bar chatting, a local place, obviously. As we sat down, our waiter stopped by & introduced himself and let us know they were out of pretzel bites this evening. The mussels and fries...awesome. Listed as an app, but a perfect entree for a teenage girl. The antioxidant salad was great. Portions are big on salads...my side salad could have easily been an entree size for me. They were very flexible with our celiac son, even knowledgable enough to point out that the mustard was made with beer, which would have traces of gluten. His burger, no bun, was cooked to perfection. The Baby Viking cocktail I had was fantastic and my husband cant wait to go back & taste more beers."

  • "Freshcraft is a gem. We enjoyed a great Saturday lunch before a hike at Red Rocks. Our server was fantastic, fun and friendly. Both of our lunch choices were tasty. Meatloaf sliders and a turkey, avocado sandwich on a pretzel bun. Try the spud puppies! Great fries and tasty dipping sauces. Excellent beer selection on tap, in bottles and cans. Plus ciders too."

  • "Been to Freshcraft about 5 times now and every time we go it's just as great! Happy hour is grea, food is always spot on! Affordable and with a great tap beer selection, you can't go wrong!"

  • "Very good food and a fantastic beer list. Good value too, service was a smidge inattentive but not really noticeable. It is a bar and the bar is quite lively request a table in the back when you can."

  • "It had good food with a great beer selection. It was a quintessential gastro pub."

  • "We were a group of eight, each with a different taste in food. Every single one loved the food, the service, the ambiance, and the location. Great place to meet with friends, have a bite to eat or just have a drink."

  • "Food is just okay, the real appeal of Freshcraft is the beer selection."

  • "My first time going to Freshcraft. I enjoy craft beer and the selection is excellent. We got a table away from the bar, which was nice for talking. The server was very attentive. The food was great. We'll be back."

  • "My husband and I brought an out of town friend to Freshcraft based on the great reviews. The good - our drinks (beer and whiskey) were great, along with the fried pickles - good start! It went downhill from there. The recommended spudpuppies were dry and almost burnt, my husband ordered the cheese crusted Iowa style pork t, again very dry. My salmon Blt pita was bland. Our guest did not comment on her burger, we didn't ask. Service was indifferent. Not busy at all on the Friday night we were there."

  • "Met the wife and kids here the other night for dinner. They didn't act weird at all that we brought our 4 and 2 year old kids with us. They just sat us beyond the bar at the front. They have good food that even the kids will eat. Portions are separated out in their menu by small, medium, and large plates and they seem to be pretty true to name. Overall, we had a good dinner."

  • "I wasn't even aware that Freshcraft existed, even though it's not far from my office and has been in business for three years. I found it on OpenTable, and we had a great experience. The food was very good, the service was excellent and very welcoming, and the space is very nice (and larger than you'd think, from the outside). We'll definitely go back!"

  • "My recommendation is to sit in the booths. They have great atmosphere, and are conducive to conversation - a relative rarity in popular restaurants. Service is fine and friendly."

  • "Freshcraft has 20 rotating taps always containing a mix of popular craft brews and rare beers from around the country. Also, they always serve up delicious, fresh food that I've never been disappointed with. Service can be spotty during busy times, but overall this place is awesome!"

  • "Very large selection of foods and quantities, ranging from healthy to less healthy. Server gave us tasters of beers before we had to choose. Food was yummy."

  • "We have several "picky" eaters in our group and we found the menu contained something for everyone -- vegetarians, carnivores, etc.. When one of our diners expressed concerned about gluten, the waiter took time to find out what milk product was used in the sandwich bread and came back to make sure that was okay. No complaints from our group!! The beer was great and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the different beers (I beleive there were 28 on tap). Great plus was that Happy Hour went until 7:00 PM!"
    Dined on 12/27/2013
  • "No one from our group had ever been here before so we did not know what to expect. I had heard that the food was good and fresh and that there was an extensive beer list so thought it would be great for a friend's birthday who is picky when it comes to fresh food. We all had a great time! The service was excellent, the menu options were exciting and the beer list was thorough. I am definitely adding this to my rotation."

  • "Went for dinner and stayed for several drinks, including a shift shot with our awesome server. Food was fantastic, drinks were reasonable and a huge selection of craft beers. Giive the smoked ice cube a try, it's very interesting in a good bourbon."

  • "Fresh, upscale comfort food was in fact delivered, with good beers. Portion size really does follow what menu says. Also priced right - not cheap but worth it."

  • "The chicken wings were undercooked. My pork schnitzel had no taste. We won't be going back. Thank goodness we weren't sitting close to the bar area, as swwe wouldn't have been able to carry on a conversation."

  • "We were so happy to find a restaurant that has good food and a good craft beer selection. They also have plenty of vegatarian options."

  • "The world isn't being changed by the food and beer selection at Freshcraft.. but it is being made a much better place. The food and service are always top notch, the beer selection always stellar and the environment warm and inviting. You can't go wrong here.."

  • "good menu choices - different offerings and healthy choices! Not bar food. Tons of beer choices too."

  • "With more than enough over the top fine dining restaurants in the Lodo area, this neighborhood bistro is a welcome change. The atmosphere is very relaxed with a mix of local families, larger group in the back & couples. The service was great from the hostess to waitress & even the manager just checking in. We had the mussels, streak frites & sliders and it was all delicious, especially the super crispy French fries (ate every single piece & some of the wife's). The prices are really reasonable with the entrees under $20, I would highly recommend Freshcraft we will definitely be back."

  • "We chose Freshcraft in advance because of its unique menu; that's the bodacious part. We were pleasantly surprised at how subtle yet richly present their flavors are. Rich meals at value pricing. Great beer and cider selection. A touch noisy for this aging guy but then the night we were there we contributed to that…"
