Our waiter was very knowledgeable and served us well. The food was wonderful! However this restaurant is a true find ! The location, ambiance, quality of food and service are all of the highest caliber - we were actually surprised by how good it was. We truly enjoyed the expertise,friendliness and charm of the sommelier Antonio who recommended a great wine for us to try. The food was super fresh and well prepared and presented. That being said , one word of warning: We are from Chicago . Therefor we are spoiled and used to non-smoking environment in public places. The sea bass, grouper and mahi mahi were well cooked and delicious. It had an opening at the time we wanted which was hard to come by on a Sunday night and had ocean front seating, that was all we knew. I was immediately blown away by the decor and welcoming from the hostess. Our server was amazing and even offered us dessert though we were the last table in the restaurant and they were waiting on us to close. The food was amazing, not a complaint from anyone. The price was appropriate for the quality of food you receive. Would recommend to any and everyone. The appetizers were great; however we were slightly disappointed with the Chef's Specialties as one dish did not have a lot of flavor and some of the seafood in the dish was overcooked. And the other dish had too many elements that took away from it being a really great dish. Highly recommend the Oysters Sashimi - soooo good and the Oysters were huge! And the escargot was really good as well! The food itself is amazing. I had the scallops for appetizer, which were very fresh and cooked perfectly,
For my main course I had the Teriyaki Chilean sea bass. We sat outside overlooking the beach and watching the sunset with a well made martini. This was only outdone by the food that followed. Each of us ordered a different dish and every one surpassed our expectations. The Pecan Crusted Grouper, Sea Bass, Scallops, and Tuna dishes were done to perfection with beautiful presentation. We shared three desserts and could not decide which was our favorite, but decided we would come back for the Key Lime Pie or Peanut Butter pie anytime. In all, the best restaurant I have found in Fort Myers in the three years I have lived here. The prices were reasonable for the delicious food and vIew of the beach and evening sunset.
