  • "Wonderful staff and creative menu! Nice little bar area and open kitchen with friendly staff. The music and sound level is a little harsh."

  • "Fresh Bistro, has great food, and not in a noisy location, service was prompt, and respectful. I had the prawns and Halibut both extremely good. Afterward felt full, and yet not feeling like I needed more, organic food is the way to go."

  • "We have been there more than two dozen times over the years and cannot recall any instance where we were not happy we went. The only surprise this time was the halibut was a little on the well done side. Maybe it is the new trend?"

  • "We threw a surprise party and picked the Fresh Bistro. They made it easy and delicious. Highly recommend this spot for all West Seattle folk (and any vistors!)."

  • "Seriously... this was the BEST restaurant meal I've had in years. We were surprised and delighted that EVERY part of our meal was outstanding: the shiso honey prawns were cooked perfectly, the crab cakes delicate and flavorful, the halibut and flank stank both tender and beautifully presented, and the raspberry creme brûlée "to die for". Our waiter was attentive and the restaurant has a pleasant ambience. I would definitely go there again for a special occasion! We had eaten at a "Bonefish" restaurant days before and there is NO comparison... "Fresh Bistro" is in a higher class of good food prepared VERY well."

  • "This place was pretty good. Not a huge selection of food, but it wasn't bad."

  • "We had dinner here, and have many wonderful meals at this local restaurant. The food is unusual and delicious. On this Tuesday evening at 6:15, the noise began to interfere in our conversation."

  • "Fresh Bistro never fails to impress and serve some of the finest dishes in Seattle."

  • "Their bloody mary's are really tasty!! I recommend just on that alone."
    Dined on 6/14/2014
  • "If you want a bit of a seafood fix with fresh takes on vegetable dishes, this is your place. Love the Mussels & Truffled Fries, the Pecan Prawns, Beet salad, really enjoyed everything."

  • "We have been to Fresh Bitsto MANY times in the past, both for brunch and also dinner. It was my wife's bday and so when I made reservations I had asked for a specail table away from other customers. When we arrived the place was nearly empty and we were sat right next to another table, mind you there were only 2 or 3 other tables w/ people. After looking over the menu, which about 4 of the 8 items available were pork dishes (my wife doesn't eat pork) we ordered the American bfast and the German bfast, as well as a Bloody Mary and a mimosa. The Bloody Mary was great, mimosa was mostly OJ. Our food took over 30 min in an empty reataurant and the service was very slow. Our food was awful. Eggs fried in oil and the temp was wrong. Very bland."

  • "I felt like the quality of the food had slipped a bit compared to previous brunch experiences at Fresh Bistro. Two of my friends said their breakfast items were overcooked and cold. My Vietnamese crepe had a delicious filling but the crepe itself was kind of rubbery. The french toast was solid. "

  • "We recently sat out on their slice of outdoor patio seating, which although roadside and with some nearby construction right at the moment is nicely appointed, set aside with greenery and was lovely on a sunny day, and has heat lamps for evening, and had a great brunch - the Hawaiian breakfast is delectable with grilled tropical fruit and generous, spicy bloody Marys with attractive garnish, white linens yet you feel comfortable, etc. This really IS a neighborhood gem, can't wait to come back for apps and wine and dinner! Sure to be a fave! Tiny thing I'd change was the manager was a little irritated with a staff member, and it showed, which was a little uncomfortable just momentarily... but our experience with the service was very good. "

  • "We went during peak brunch hours (10:30 on a Saturday) and the place was mostly empty. The food was excellent and pretty reasonably priced. It's in a new building so it doesn't have the character that some of the more popular West Seattle spots might, but it's a great place to go to avoid a line (for now) and get some great food. "

  • "6 years ago, Herban Feast catered my wedding and, so, on our anniversary, my wife and I were craving the tasty and inventive food we enjoyed at our wedding (at Sodo Park). Fresh Bistro did not disappoint: the food is beautiful and delicious and the restaurant and staff were just right for our evening. We made a meal out of several small plates--the tuna/mango/avocado was our favorite! Maybe we'll make the trip out to West Seattle for our 7th anniversary!"

  • "This is a newer small neighborhood place with professional friendly staff and really good American food. Reservations a must before 8pm. they do have Happy Hour and no reservations in their small but nice bar or the large flat top infront of the cooks. The lamb burgers are popular for good reason. I also really liked their pork dish. Fresh Bistro is a little hidden right now due to the condo jungle that is going up around it."

  • "I took 3 friends to Arts West to see Hair and this was a perfect pre dinner place - just around the corner. The service was wonderful and the staff were fun. The food was really good."

  • "This is a gem, tucked away in the corner of a large building near the Alaska Junction in West Seattle. Nice selection of gluten-free items for those of us who must adhere to that particular diet and plenty of other non-gluten-free items for my hungry men. Service was excellent, the wine was the perfect temp and the food was unique and pleasing to the palate. I was unable to eat everything, but my sons had no trouble finishing it for me! I would love to go again and bring along friends who also need to know there are truly awesome gluten-free options out there."

  • "My wife and I have dined at Fresh Bistro since they first opened but we never had brunch there. I took my wife for Mother's Day brunch and it was outstanding! We'll be back for sure."
    Dined on 5/11/2014
  • "While I realize that Mothers's Day is brutal on restaurants, a couple of things left me feeling meh about this place. We literally were the first to sit...our server, while friendly, took her time getting to us, took our drink order/food order and informed us that it would be 20 minutes before our food came. She was right. She also never came back to check on coffee or ask of I wanted that second mimosa (I did). The food was good but not great, and we were ignored until the end. Had we not been ignored, a few more Mimosas and some hot sauce would have made my Mother's Day. "

  • "I came here for the first time because I bought an Amazon deal. The food was good but I won't go out of my way to come back here. The waitress was nice but she seemed the only one and although the place was not crowded, the service could've been more efficient. If you are in the area, try it.. you might like it a lot more than I did. If I'm in the area and hungry for breakfast, I'll be back."

  • "We celebrated Mother's Day with a group of eight on Saturday at Fresh Bistro. I enjoy interesting food items and combinations and was happily rewarded. I'd read about Sous Vide Eggs and they they were on the menu as a wonderful topping on my Crab Benedict, so creamy almost like a custard. I highly reccommend Fresh Bistro for anytime of the day or event. It is a lively place with unique attitude toward food and serving the public"

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this West Seattle prime restaurant. Food was absolutely outstanding, service well done and professional. A nice selection of local items from fish to meat. Each and every food item was perfection personified. A most pleasant and delightful experience. "

  • "3 children with Grandparents. Kids menu is verbal. Nice selection. Nice wine list. Kids dinners came rather quickly. Can't say the same for the adults. We waited about an hour or so for the adult entries. Kids were done and restless. No time for dessert. I had beef stroganoff and it might have been better to call it mushroom stroganofff. Light on the beef. It was tasty however. The rolls were very good but they hold back on bringing extras. And the waitress should come around and ask if you want the pepper mill after they serve since none is on the table. I spilled a glass of wine when the waitress brought some rolls and they were very gracious. Still paid for it. My wife had char and loved it. "

  • "Fantastic meal ! I enjoyed a plate of their special Ham and Eggs Benedict. The Ham melted in your mouth -it was so delicious. It was accompanied by braised cabbage and potatoes which was a perfect complement to the meal. We also ordered the cinnamon buns - and although not as good as mom's they were respectfully tasty, not overly gooey and the portion was perfect. I hadn't been there in a few months but must bring this to the top of one of my local favorites. "

  • "Two for dinner. Each had the Arctic Char. A first time for char - it was well prepared and delicious. Onion soup gratinee and green salad were excellent starters. Dessert was a flourless chocolate torte, very good, and raspberry creme brûlée. We prefer creme brûlée "neat". A bottle of Tamarac Chardonnay made this a very nice reasonably priced Restaurant Week supper. "

  • "We chose to eat here based on the reviews. While the ambiance and service were good, the food was just average. Very unique offerings, very fresh, but taste-wise - just not up to expectations. Would not consider returning when there are so many amazing restaurants to choose from in the West Seattle area. Great concept, poor execution in the food department."

  • "We had the Restaurant Week special. All the choices were good and the food was delicious. They also have unique cocktails (Seattle sour) that I enjoyed. Slightly pricey but worth going back again"

  • "My husband and I tried out Fresh Bistro because we had a gift card there. Definitely worth it and will go back again. We loved the food! Amazing dishes and great ambience. They have a great Happy Hour menu, although it is still a bit pricey, worth a try. They have a great drink menu and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed our experience and highly recommend a try."

  • "We had heard good things about Fresh Bistro and paid them a visit during Open Dining, so we ate off a limited menu. Our appetizers, entrees and desserts were well prepared, nicely presented and every dish we ate was very good."

  • "Every time I go to Fresh Bistro I get great food, and when I'm there with groups everyone is impressed. I'm really surprised it isn't more crowded. I think when all the new building is completed in that area of the Junction it will be so full I'll never get a table easily again. Great food, reasonable prices, nice menu selection, and friendly staff."

  • "Fresh Bistro was a great pleasure for dinner. Server provided great service to enliven us all including a late teen and tired traveler. Terrine of roasted beets and chevre were incredible. Salads composed with wonderful ingredients. Vegetarien entree of cauliflower and tahini was pitch perfect. Cant wait to return."
