Love Fresh BistroAs always, the food was perfection. Love all the combinations of flavors.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMAlmost 5 starsThe menu at Fresh Bistro had unique, flavor packed selections that pleased our whole table. One huge plus was I was able to order a burger with a gluten free bun with no up-charge. Only downfall is the bun was soggy on the bottom. I'd recommend putting lettuce under the burger to avoid that in the future. However it was a tasty, full of flavor, knife and fork burger that I enjoyed. The smash fries were one of the best fried potato item I've ever had. But the hashbrowns tasted like the frozen kind with tasteless oil. The bistro was very relaxing, good for conversation with upscale service. The cappuccino was delicious. However, the kid-menu was small, but they had a highchair and as a parent that's all one can ask for sometimes.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMAMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!Have eaten here many times. Our favorite time is weekday night...it's always very quiet and inviting.
Had the Charcuterie Plate, Walnut Prawns, French Dip, and Wagyu Burger with Smashed Potatoes. Everything was AMAZINGLY delicious. Whatever the chefs do to the smashed potatoes, it's heavenly! The perfect mix of crispiness and tenderness and savory beyond all description! You must eat here!
BTW, they make a killer Negroni.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat time had by all!We had two birthdays that were being celebrated in our party of 8. The restaurant knew this prior to our dining and went out of their way to honor the occassion. This was the first night of a new menu and everything was fabulously done to perfection. The seafood chowder in particular was phenomenal! Everyone in my party said they would definitely be back even though we are all based on the eastside of the lake.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious foodThis is our second time for brunch at Fresh Bistro. We will definitely return again, and plan to try out the dinner menu. Keep the excellent food and service coming!5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, great service! We has a wonderful time. Or waiter, Daniel, was great! He had great recommendations and answered the many questions we had.4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMAlmost a regular nowWe just keep coming back, old favorites and new flavors are always in store.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMFor anyone visiting West Seattle,For anyone visiting West Seattle, Fresh Bistro is a 'must see'! Their delicious food, original cocktails and relaxing ambiance make for the perfect meal. The food is so scrumptious that two days after dining there, we went back to try their brunch. Of the nine dishes we samples between those two meals, all were truly spectacular! We recommend the Shiso Honey Pecan Prawns as a starting dish and the Vanilla Bean Waffles for breakfast!4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMI love Fresh Bistro. TheI love Fresh Bistro. The food is unusual and excellent. This is not my first time, nor will it be my last. It is a great place to go in my neighborhood, but I would recommend it even if it isn't.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGnocchi with mushroom raguGnocchi with mushroom ragu was the highlight for me.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat bunch selection, goodGreat bunch selection, good service, lots of street parking on a SAT morning.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat wine & food pairingGreat wine & food pairing event. Best value and chef!4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMAlthough there were mix-upsAlthough there were mix-ups in the reservation our host found us an excellent table. Our table was well serviced by staff. It is a bit pricy for our pocketbook but is great for a special occasion. We were there for an after church Easter brunch.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMMy family thoroughly enjoyedMy family thoroughly enjoyed our brunch on Easter Sunday. We took my father and we each ordered different items and ended up sampling each other's dishes. Everything tasted delicious and was beautifully plated. The dishes had their own unique twist on the standard breakfast fare. The Hawaiian sundae ended our meal perfectly. The service staff was friendly and professional. I highly recommend this restaurant.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent, as alwaysOur first time to Fresh Bistro for dinner after a few brunch visits. The service was timely and friendly and the food was terrific. The pork chop special on house-made spaetzle with perfectly crisped and caramelized brussels sprouts shouldn't be passed up, and the vegetarian stroganoff was a delightful alternative to the single pasta option typically available to most veggie diners. It's nice to have a great place to eat where both meat-eaters and vegetarians have multiple choices on the menu.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food and service are outstandinThe food and service are outstanding! This restaurant would benefit from a name change and by seating serious diners out of view of the two TV's over the bar.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMSteak nightOn our first visit to Monday steak night we learned the remainder of the menu was also available. A mussel appetizer was good and included those wonderful tried-not-to-eat-too-many thin fries. A steak salad was great with a decent serving of steak and lots of variety in the salad. A prime rib was excellent, as was a twice baked potato side dish. Half-price wine night was applied to a bottle of Tamarak Chardonnay and was very well received. This was a very good meal at a reasonable price.3/25/2013 12:00:00 AMVery nice, warm atmosphere,Very nice, warm atmosphere, tasty food, good sound level for conversations3/25/2013 12:00:00 AMI enjoyed our dinner - a partyI enjoyed our dinner - a party of 6 with 2 young children. Our server was very attentive and not only took time to engage the children, but remembered the little things they said ...like my grand-daughter loves fresh cracked pepper ... so she brought it for each serving. A fun relaxed atmosphere. They were even great about the fact that my GPS kept giving me the wrong address and we were lost up north for 20 minutes.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was my third visit toThis was my third visit to Fresh Bistro. As before, the food was excellent. Note on the menu - Each dish seems to include a dozen ingredients. We've all had those ueber-contrived dishes that look great but taste weird. Not at Fresh Bistro! The food is fresh & delicious, mostly simple dishes that have been given a boost to the next level with a little extra twist. EX: OMG-worthy lobster mac & cheese or shortrib stroganoff over fettucine made with arugula. And, at breakfast, the bacon is the best I've ever had. Service has been consistently excellent. Personable, welcoming and well-informed. If you stuck to the small plates, it could easily be one's neighborhood hang-out.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AM
