  • "I try to eat here at least once a season when I am in Cape May. Frescos never disappoints. This BYOB gem serves wonderfully fresh and creative Italian food. The grilled vegetable antipasti and the salmon with risotto was fantastic. We did have to wait for our table even with a reservation but its worth it. My one concern every time I go back is the deafening noise level of the main dining area. I prefer to sit out ont he closed in porch where the din is less prevalent. Definitely worth putting on your Cape May list."

  • "Ordered the veal saltimbuco. I have had it before and it was good. This time it was served rare. I sent it back and it was still red when it came back out. No one asked if the forod was any better. No response or inquiry from management. All of our meals were bland. I live in cape may during the summer and will have to take this one off my list. It would really help if they just cared!"

  • "I first will say that the food was really good however, we had to wait a long time to be served. Our server told us that this was because everything was prepared freshly when the food was ordered. We didn't order or any salad or appetizers with our meal and for that reason, the wait for our meals seemed much longer. Once we got the food, it was superb. My suggestion is to go when you're really hungry and order the salads and appetizers. Maybe then it won't seem like you were waiting all night for your food."

  • "Hadn't dined at Fresco's in years but I was happy to see it's retained its charm over the years. we were able to make a last minute reservation and were seated in the upstairs dining room. Things were a bit noisy as there were several parties with young children, but things quieted down once they left. Our waiter was young and still learning, but extremely personable and knowledgeable. Everything was very good- from the calamari and caesar salad to the scallop and shrimp pasta entree. The champange cream sauce was much lighter than anticipated, which was a perfect match to the fresh seafood. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a good mix of cuisine and something to please everyone."

  • "It was ok. I was surprised how loud it was and how many children there were. Our server was very nice but we felt rushed by the bus staff. I found the sauce on the tuna special to be overwhelming and those I dined with said their rigatoni dishes were just "eh." Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I think you can do better in Cape May."
