  • "We went in to have a nice dinner and decided to share a few things. To make a long story short we decided on a pasta dish that didn't have meat sauce so I asked if they could add a side.... No problem until the hill came they didn't tell me the side of sauce would be $15. Horrible customer service to not tell the customer ahead of time. Great food just wouldn't go back!"

  • "This was my second time at this restaurant and I loved the food. The service was very slow, which was annoying because after a long travel I just wanted to eat a nice meal then go to bed. The food was wonderful, I fad spaghetti carbonara, and it was second to none. I enjoyed it so much that I have invited some local friends to join us on Saturday night."

  • "Upon arrival, our hostess greeted us with an awesome greeting " I have the perfect table for you !" We were led to our table. Glad she didn't say "great view!" Looking out our window-directly adjacent to us--the laundry services of the Hilton Village- the back door!!! Eventually we were moved. Restaurant was very empty as it was early dining. I have never had this problem with an open table reservation . Be sure it doesn't happen to you!"

  • "Clean lines and airy décor with large windows allowing the trade winds to come in. Ambience and décor was really nice. Wine list seemed a bit limited considering it's an Italian restaurant, and I would have liked to see more chardonnay options for my guests. The eggplant parmesan was good (average), and the saltimbocca got great reviews from my guests! Chocolate cake with ice cream and the gelato were also delicious. Calamari was average and the bruschetta was not good at all. Bread was soggy from the toppings, and the toppings were a bit unidentifiable. We would have preferred traditional bruschetta with tomato/basil/pesto/mozz/balsamic topping. Wait staff friendly. Entrees were not served at the same time."

  • "We had dinner here for Valentines night, the Maitre d was great, we arrived a little early of our reservation and they offered to sit us early, I asked if we could just have a nice seat and whenever that was ready it would be fine, we got a glass of wine from the bar and sat down, waited for about 10 minutes, (still early from our reservation) and he came back and said he had our table ready, he took us all the way to the back of the restaurant and sat us at the last window table overlooking the grassy area and the lagoon, from what i could tell, probably the best view of the whole restaurant. Wait staff was great we never needed anything. Great dinner and great service."

  • "Not my first, second, or even fifth choice if I truly wanted Italian fare, but our dinners were exceptionally well prepared - especially for the busy Valentine's evening. Set menus (similar to their Taste of Hawaii Special Dinner menus) included appetizers of seared scallops or baked mussels (moist, not overcooked), and caprese salad. We selected entrees of pork loin and a surf-n-turf combo of baked lobster and beef tenderloin. Exceptional was the tenderloin, juices sealed in by a perfect searing and topped with a gorgonzola "fondue." The garlic shrimp spaghetti ordered from the regular menu was not garlic-y enough. Panna cotta and tiramisu desserts were very nice."

  • "While staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, I made reservations here at Fresco's for a Valentine's day dinner with my son, my mom and one of my best friends all because we didn't want to sit in Valentine's Day traffic. Fresco's has surprisingly surpassed my expectations. The service was amazing especially since our server and the rest of the staff kindly catered to my son. The food was amazing and I'm extremely particular when it comes to Italian food as I am originally from NYC. Now that I'm living in SoCal I wish there was a Fresco's where I live since their food is deliciously scrumptious and legit Italian food that reminds me of being back in NYC. I will definitely be coming back here!"

  • "Our family had dined at the Fresco a few days earlier and we decided to return as we had really enjoyed our first experience. We found the second visit even better than the first. Tyson as our server and he was very energetic and entertaining. He was very focused on providing us and his other customers with outstanding service. We had a very pleasant evening as we had both our Sons and Daughter in Law dining with us. The food was delicious and very well prepared. The staff allowed us to remain at our able and visit without pressuring us to wrap up the evening and they even continued to refill our drinks as we visited. Once again we enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere at Fresco’s. “Mahalo” to the staff!"

  • "I gave this restaurant a second try-the first time I dined here the service was bad, and the food was average. This did not change. Despite the fact that I came in late and the place is more than half empty, the hostess wanted to seat me in a less desirable table near the wall in a corner. When I asked to be seated at the table next to the window, she had to ask someone to see if it's ok. The window side table had no reserve sign on it and the place was almost empty. So I waited for a few minutes until she came back and said it was ok, I can have the table next to the window. They were probably looking out for the servers to make sure that the station assigned to a particular server gets enough tables to spread out the tips from diners."

  • "Fresco was a very nice place and has a good Italian menu with a wide spectrum of choices. We had the Insalata Caprese and the calamari for appetizers and they were very good. As our entrees I had the Filetto di Manzo and it was absolutely delicious and prepared exactly as I ordered. My Son ordered the Linguine alla Pescatora and he really enjoyed it. My Wife enjoyed the Lasagna as well. The restaurant was very nice and had a pleasant atmosphere. Located on the on the second floor it gave you a nice view across the village and allowed you to observe the vibrant Hilton Hawaiian Village. The service was good, nothing more, nothing less. The food is without a doubt was the best part of the experience. Mahalo to the kitchen staff!"

  • "We had thought, oh hotel food!, but were we delightfully surprised. It was upstairs, so if you are lucky like us and sit outside you get a birds eye view of Hilton Hawaiian Village. It is covered seating, which was advantages for us because of a tropical downpour. The food was fantastic and the house wine superb. The service was most memorable, the host staff gracious and our server, Ty, was high energy and very attentive. The manager saw that we had made our reservation on Open Table and came to our table to talk about our experience. He too was friendly and attentive. Overall, a wonderful experience."

The food was very good, the (house) vine inexpensive and the service exceptionally good. Of course, this being in Hawaii, the prices are a little high, but the food and atmosphere is worth it. I recommend this restaurant to anyone."

It had a complete face lift and is lighter, no more dark booths, but lacks some decorative touches. 40 th anniversary dinner, food was better than last time and they comped us dessert, which was very good and very nice.   • "With a good location and a captive audience you would expect a well run restaurant with exceptional food. The food was actually okay. The issue with this establishment was the service. It was incredibly slow and they were not that busy. The staff simply need training and need to focus more on service time. They were all friendly, except for the male bartender, but they were very slow. Much longer than should have been expected."

  • "We have eaten here twice. The first time we had fish and steak it was great. We came back for pasta. It lacked flavor. We had the linguine and carbonara. Both were not good. The bill was $76 for 2 pasta dishes a beer and a salad. We will not recommend this restaurant for the pasts which is a shame since it's an Italian restaurant. Thanks"

  • "Every bite was a taste of heaven! There was a wonderful variety and blend of flavors. No course should be missed. (We enjoyed the "Anniversary" dinner and the fabulous dessert was more than just the "icing on the cake".) Exceptional staff were outstanding, very courteous, and perfectly attentive. Took a family member for her birthday and she loved it! We were very impressed and will definitely have to plan a return trip to Hawaii, so we can reserve another table at Fresco's!"

  • "Three of us went to Fresco in Hilton Hawaii Village for a nice italian meal. We have visited this place very year for over 4 years. It has been remodeled and the menu is new. The food was delicious but service was SO SLOW. The waitress seems to be moving in slow motion and didn't enlist the help of any other staff. The manager didn't come around and check on anyone. When she rang up the bill on my credit card, she did it THREE times! Also, it was very HOT in the area of the restaurant we sat in. The windows were open to no avail. The waitress said the ac 'worked best' on the other side of the restaurant. I doubt we will return here next year."

  • "We sat at a table next to the open windows, which was a nice experience. The restaurant is on the second floor so you look our at the tree tops. The food was delicious. We had the rigatoni and fettuccine. Both were very flavorful. The portions are not huge, but I left there feeling full."
