  • "We had no problems with the service. Our group of 5 sat in the rounded booth in the back, which helped with a high noise level. We thought the portions were very generous: the leg of lamb was the largest we've encountered. We split a ceviche trio and ceviche quartet between 5 people, got 3 orders of empanadas, and then had main courses but no desserts. The tasty soup and one order of cause was enough for a meal, replacing a larger entree for one person. The steak was well-prepared. The empanadas are small and somewhat deconstructed, with the olive and egg served as garnishes, but the flavors matched the Bolivian/Peruvian traditional preparation we hoped for. Will return - very quick service; food temperatures were appropriately cold/hot."

  • "This was a reservation for a birthday, with a request for window table. Waited for 10 min for a host, then seated in the back near a large party (even though a table was open at the front near the window). 15 minutes before a waiter acknowledged us, clearly frazzled and unhelpful with selecting drinks. Rushed us to order. Appetizer came out and we asked for plantain chips, which the waiter rushed off to get and returned with a basket of stale chip pieces, that had to have been pulled from another table. (!!) Main dish was a soup with shrimp that was slightly curdled and not worth the $24 price tag. Waiter couldn't be bothered with us and it made for a terrible birthday. All reflected in the tip. Avoid Fresca at all costs!!"

  • "I love ceviche and Fresca is my favorite place to enjoy it's spicy and tangy possibilities. What goes better with ceviche than sangria? Nothing! Fresca's sangria is delightfully balanced, not syrupy and maintains the integrity of the wine. There is something on the menu for everyone, meat eaters and vegetarians. "

However, if you are sensitive to spicy food, ask the level of spice before ordering, just to make sure you won't burn your mouth! First Peruvian food for my family and they loved it, especially the coco ceviche. I will come back for sure."

Luckily we had reservations for the place was packed for a Sunday evening. The waiter was most attentive and helped explain the menu. We split an appetizer and each ordered different plates. How delicious. Actually my husband's seafood dinner was one of the best and most flavorful dishes he & I ever tasted. All of the food was delicious, the bar & wine had excellent choices, and the dessert just melted in our mouths. We actually remarked that when the check arrived that this was an excellent value for the entire experience! This restaurant has their act together. It's highly recommended!"

  • "We arrived about 20 min early to our reservation and they seated us right away. The place was empty maybe 3 tables but food takes a while to come out. I had Lomo Saltado it was great specially the French fries! Everything was really good. The only note I would make is that the service is a bit slow. In between sitting and getting the appetizers to getting food there was noticeable time where we waited. The staff there is very friendly and the food was great."

This time we got to share the experience with our friends and they of course LOVED it. Empanadas, Tequenos, Ceviche for starters and Lomo Saltado for dinner *drool* accompanied by some Pisco Sours. Also I must mention that I have NEVER been given bad service by the staff, not even so-so service. Great night, amazing food with awesome friends"
