Service was great! The staff there was lovely and our waitress was sooo efficient and really good about multitasking by givingaus the needed service while still serving others and getting her other duties done. She was friendly and so attentive. The food was also really good and was pleasantly surprised. I tried the chicken vostaganza (don't remember the name but it was different than your typical italian food at a restaurant) and I really enjoyed it. Appetizer, which server permitted a substitution, was very good. Bruschetta was an allowable substitute, spouse said calimari was very good. Green salad was sized perfectly, and the dressing was tasty. My spicy chicken pasta was indeed, spicy, and very good. Spouse had penne a la vodka, and raved about it. The portions were very hefty without being overdone. A seat near the window (weather prevented us from diing outside) with exceptional food made for a fine evening. Also to be noted was the wine list, a choice for almost everyone. Our server was excellent. The topper is that this is truly Center City dining without Center City prices. The staff was very attentive from the greeter, server and as we were leaving most of the staff thanked us for dining at their restaurant. There were four of us and all had a great meal. Our server Tami was right on point. We explained we had just come from a wine tasting event and she did her job by asking if we wanted to continue with wine or change to cocktails. When we told her we had enough alcohol for the day, she understood and told us about the specials. We appreciated it. We asked a question about the meal. She answered it and we were fine with the answer. She came back to the table and went above and beyond with how she was going to accommodate us. The side Caesar salad had plenty of flavorful dressing. The spaghetti was perfectly al dente and sauce was well seasoned. Two huge meatballs filled out the dish.

After waiting over an hour and giving up at the first place we attempted to have dinner at, I went on my Open Table app and found Fratelli's Italian Bistro, I had driven by many times and it always seemed busy and thought "Italian is always good!" We were seated right away, the service was quick and friendly, the food was delicious and the prices were super reasonable for the location. I would definitely go back and recommend it to others! The food is outstnding (always) and the server we had was pleasant, extremely knowledgable, and totally on top of everything. She suggested drinks to match the entrees we ordered as well as suggested which sauce to get for one of the entrees. It's nice to be waited on by someone who genuinely seems to enjoy her job and knows what she is doing. She also was serving double duty as the bartender. I often find myself sending back steak for being over or under-cooked. This medium rare was perfectly prepared, flavors were not overwhelmed, but complimented with light seasoning and crab imperial topping. Started off with Calamari which was good and the Bruschetta which was absolutely amazing! We both received a nice side salad in between courses though I think it would have been good to have had the option to have the salad with the appetizers. My girlfriend had the chilli chicken pasta which she really enjoyed, though luckily she enjoys al dente. I had the salmon with mango salsa. Though the accompanying veg did not come in great quantity (no bother due to our appetizers and salad), the salmon was delicious and the mango was a great addition.
The final total was $60 which we thought was excellent for the quality of food and vibrant yet personal setting. Both sandwich and fries were tasty and arrived hot. For an appetizer had the fried calamari for $11.50. Although the calamari also arrived hot, unfortunately it was a bit too chewy.
