  • "It is supposed to be an authentic Italian restaurant chain but the food is a little disappointing. Portions are very big. "

  • "we ordered 2 pizzas and 2 pasta dishes. Each were very good and seemed to be more authentic than what we are used to seeing as regular Italian cuisine. Service was prompt. The only negative was that the restaurant was too hot on a fairly mild day in Miami."

  • "FLB is one of my go-to favorites. I was craving wood-fired pizza, especially their white pizza with smoked mozzarella, prosciutto, and arugula. I ate almost the entire pie alone, and two days later, I'm still savoring it. Add a house salad, and a glass of wine, and it's a perfect meal."

  • "The white pizza was a little dry, and the cream sauce a little heavy, but overall this no-frills Italian satisfied. With a Four Square deal for a free bottle of wine, it hit the spot. While there are certainly higher quality Italian choices on South Beach, the prices was right at Fratelli La Bufala. Sitting outside in the late evening made it extra-nice."

  • "It was a really good night out. The table for our group of 8 was available 30 minutes later than booked but they offered a glass of prosecco to us which was very nice. Service was really good just the Calzone was not as fantastic as the rest of the food. We will go again soon for the prosciutto pizza and tiramisu."

  • "This restaurant is a close to real Italian food as you can get in the US. We started off with a Margarita Pizza which is made in a wood fired oven brought over from Naples. Absolutely perfect! If you get the pizza right the rest of the food will follow. Not only was the antipasto selections amazing and delicious, the main dishes we equally appetizing. The topping of a fantastic meal was the "La Pasteria" dessret which is a specialty grain cake made with buffalo ricotta and citron and other spices. My mother use to make this at Easter time and we all scrambled to get our share of this specialty dessert. La Bufala has this and other incredible desserts every day!"

  • "We went there mainly to see if the pizza was anything like the pizza my boyfriend and I ate in Naples, Italy (which was pretty amazing). Well it was pretty darn close. We shared a pizza and a lasagna. Both were sooooooo good. My boyfriend even declared bufalo mozzarella as his new favorite cheese. Reasonably priced and did I mentions delicious."

  • "I had heard of this place on the Food Network Show "Best Thing I Ever Ate. Scott Conant talked about the Ripienone Calzone. I went to Fratelli La Bufala for lunch. I had the Repienone Calzone. It was not as flavourful as I expected and was very large. However, as I continued to eat I realized it was very fresh tasting and authentic. The pizza dough was very light as was the cheese and I didn't feel stuffed like I would have thought juding by the size of it. The San marzano tomatoes that you could buy for $2.50 complimented it very nicely. The service was very good and the restaurant clean. May not have been the best thing I ever ate but it was very good!"

  • "Service : average at best. Waiter had a bit of attitude...owner manager knew there were issues at our table and never came around to make sure things were resolved Menu: mostly pasta and pizza with several salad and side dish options. Only. 4 or 5 choices for main dish other than pizza or pasta We ordered a bottle of wine and the waiter brought out a different lesser quality of wine, opened the bottle and never told us about the switch out until I questioned him Food: above average quality. Certainly nothing memorable and you can do better on Lincoln road"

  • "This place is awful. I checked review of this site, and I believed such that it is good since the rating is not so bad. But this place is really terrible to me. I know that Christmas Eve is a great opportunity for restaurant owner, but the service could not be worse. While I am looking menu, a waiter came to my seat and took my menu while saying "I can choose perfect pasta for you". I CAN CHOOSE MY OWN MENU! YOU SHOULD NOT CHOOSE MY MENU INSTEAD OF ME. My seat was also terrible. The table was placed on the main path from kitchen to hall. When they gave us italian bread appetizer, I really surprised that. The bread was cold and not heated at all. They AUTOMATICALLY added 17% tips to the bill. I really didn't want to give large tips."

  • "The best Italian restaurant in south beach. Authentic food and very attentive and nice servers. The tables are a little too close to each other but that's normal for south beach restaurants trying to maximize the space."

  • "We are no strangers to the Fratelli La Bufala. The food is excellent as always. Service is always very good. We were a table of 7 with some of the group being newbies to the Bufala. We started off with La Bufalata Grande . A nice selection of bufala cheeses, cured italian meats & traditional marinated vegetables. Some at the table ordered an assortment of pizzas. I personally had the homemade lasagna with bufala ragu’, ricotta and mozzarella. It was very creamy. Not your typical lasagna. It was delish! The newbies were impressed and mostly with very happy stomachs. We will always come back and bring friends to experience a little bit of Italy at SoBe."

  • "Unfortunately the pasta was water logged and thin indicating poor quality. The server was very nice about it and at least the salad was good>"
