  • "This place has it all for me -- Amazing food, lovely people, and its walking distance to my home! The food is delicious and the wine list is impeccable, with a sommelier in Justin whose recommendations are always spot-on. You must try the bread pudding for the dessert... I have dreams about it, it's just that good :-) Everything on the menu - you can't go wrong. My favorites are the burrata, the pasta entree's, and the fish and meat dishes that change. Come here with your special someone, order something from each part of the menu (appetizer, salad, entree) to share so that you have room for bread pudding and dessert wine and you will leave happy. "

  • "This was my third time here. Very good food. The bruschetta was amazing. I had the halibut which was very very good. My daughter had the duck salad which she loved. She also had the prime rib which was very good. We were seated next to a small very loud table. Service was very good until they changed our waitress. Waitress number two was not that attentive.   • "This was our first visit in SF. We were a group of four celebrating a milestone birthday. We were looking for a restaurant with a special atmosphere out of the heavy tourist areas. All of us were delighted by Frascati. Upon our arrival, the maitre d'hotel was polite and friendly. He took into account the special request that we mentioned in the reservation. The food was very good. Wine was great. The service was efficient, with lots of attention but not too familiar. Can't wait for our next visit in SF !"

  • "Frascati is a chic little spot! We got a window table and enjoyed the cheese plate, the lamb risotto, and the duck. The cheese plate featured a few really outstanding cheeses, especially the ashes brie (or other soft cheese - can't remember). All I know is that it was smokey and cheesy and simply delicious! The risotto was very good and so was the duck! I can only give it four stars though because it wasn't the #1 on my list of restaurants in SF. Outstanding, yes, but not the creme-de-la-creme. Still totally worth going to, though!!"

  • "I was looking forward to a fantastic experience but was disappointed. The food was so-so (gnocchi, mushroom bruschetta, salad, ravioli). Our server seemed miffed that she had to take our order. We got the impression she was peeved at having to show up for work. I do understand what it's like being in the service industry, which is exactly why restaurants might make sure their servers are service-oriented people. Patrons ought to feel as if they are welcome, not a bother. At any rate, even if it was great service/food, the noise level here isn't for me. I prefer talking over shouting."

From the ambiance to the food, everything was well coordinated and made us feel like we were there only patrons (when the restaurant was full). Jon gave us a great table on the second floor overlooking the first floor / kitchen. Best seats in the house as the kitchen is open and you get to see the chefs in action. They had a very reasonable corkage fee as well as prix fix menu. Our waitress made great recommendations throughout the night and we left with a full stomach and a big smile on our faces. The gift bag at the end of the night was also a very nice touch. Thanks gain Rebecca and Jon!"

My date and I split an appetizer and salad and then each had an entree -- everything was wonderful. In particular, their roast chicken rocked.   • "こんなところにいいレストランがあるの?というくらい静かな住宅地にありますが、ケーブルカーハイドラインのグリーンストリートの角にあり、わかりやすいです。小さなレストランですが、肩ひじ張らず雰囲気はいいです。スタッフはとても親切です。米国でもこんな美味しいものが食べられるのかというくらい美味しく、日本人にもあいます。メインはポークとチキンにしましたが、美味しく、日本人にも適量です。たくさん食べられないので、前菜は1品とチーズプレートにしましたが、チーズはとてもよかったです。ワインもいいです。The restaurant is located at the corner of Hyde st. and Green st. It is easy to access because Cable car Hyde Line stops in front.It is not so large; however, atmosphere is good with semi-formal style at home. All staffs are very kind and friendly. We ordered a couple of kinds of a glass wine the staff recommended, which were all tasty and fantastic.Main dishes were also and good alright as beyond challenge. If your stomach is not so large, we recommend cheese plate with four kinds of excellent."

We are out-of-towners, but if we returned I would request that (if possible). We had the pork ravioli appetizer, and the scallops and pork chop for entrees. Everything was delicious. The service was very good. Overall we were very pleased with our meal and experience."

  • "Reservations were made early in December for a "meet the families dinner" before my daughter's New Year's Eve wedding. Everyone was from out of town and I relied upon the rave reviews I found online when chosing Frascati's. They are well deserved. The day of the dinner we had to make a last minute change in our reservation time due to a family emergency. They were able to make the change despite our large group of 11 people - Thank you! Our server Laura was wonderful to work with. She was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. The food was excellent ! We must have tried almost everything on the menu and it was all wonderful :) I loved that Frascati's had a comfortable yet fine dining vibe. I can't wait to visit again someday."
