Frank's Steaks - JerichoMother's DayI took my fiancee there for Mother's Day. We had been there before so we knew that it was a reliable restaurant. The chicken teriyaki is a winner--great portion for the price, as are the side dishes of masked potatoes and french fries. We ordered a filet mignon and while it was tasty, it came out medium instead of the medium rare that was ordered. The house chardonay was average at best.
If you are a dessert person, well, Frank's does a great job! The service was excellent and we would go back there again. Food was very good (if a littel pricey) but the atmosphere was perfect for this occasion: loud enough that we weren't bothering anyone but also civilized. I recommend the cowboy garlic ribeye. Wow, couldn't even finish it. Staff was attentive, courteous, and prompt. Decor isn't stuffy. Each and every time we were treated to some of the best food and the fantastic friendly helpful staff.. On my most recent visit, last night, I was reconnecting with some very dear friends. I had made reservations for the 3 of us in advance for 7:15PM. When I arrived the place a bit early the place was super busy and my friends had not yet arrived I explained to the two folks at the check in that I was meeting some real special friends that had not gotten together in a long time...well they very graciously held the table for almost 20 minutes and my friends finally got there..
