He got the small cut, and he didn't even finish that. The service was some of the best we've had anywhere. Although they initially undercooked my husband's filet, they immediately addressed the problem and it was perfection on the second try. The crab bisque was great. The prime rib was exceptional but HUGE (even though I ordered the smallest portion). The creme brulee was the second best I have ever had (which is actually a RAVE review for anyone who knows how obsessed I am with my 1st place restaurant's creme brulee). We will definitely return.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Food / Staff & ServiceThe Franklin Inn is ABSOLUTELY "The Best Restaurant" in South NJ,from their Crab Bisque to their Tiramisu, we've never been disappointed.Their Prime Rib, Filet, Crab Cakes & Ribs, unbeatable! On a lighter side, Chicken Piccata is my favorite! The Inn just beams with A Quaint Tavern Feel, for special occasions to impress or just a quite romantic dinner. Can't stop there, I have to mention the STAFF, what a great group, never miss a beat with their service, attentiveness & makes an extra effort to make you feel welcome! Save the gas dollars going to AC or into the City, we have our own 5 Star Restaurant minutes away!

The best was my daughter's apple pie-the best we ever had. We like to come to the Inn for special times and I hope you continue to have the excellent food and staff-it is worth the money for a top notch dinning experience. They have the best crabcakes I've ever had. I learned to like sweet potatoes there because of their delicious sweet potato dish. Unfortunately my mother had a medical problem.
