  • "The food and service are an 11 out of 10. Everything is prepared to the highest standard."

  • "We have never had a bad dinner at Franklinville Inn. We love it and can count on always having a great dinner. Its a great place to take friends to as you know they are going to love their dinner and the waiters there are terrific. I would recommend everyone to just try it if you have never been there as you will not be disappointed. I only wish they were open Sundays and Mondays too."

  • "The food is amazing as well as the service and ambience! I look forward to whenever my husband and I can go. My teenager loves the restaurant too! My favorite place around :)"

  • "The Franklinville Inn is a breath of fresh air. A restaurant that centers on good service and good food. The seating is comfortable with the tables are far enough apart to add some intimacy to the dinning experience. This restaurant gives value to your dollar spent."

  • "As many times as I go, it's always the best food and worth the price and wait."

  • "We can always count on first-class food and service at the Franklinville Inn. The wait staff is courteous and eager to please. Their crab cakes are the best I've ever had - and the mashed sweet potatoes are unbelievably delicious! The prime rib and filet mignon are prepared to perfection."

  • "Took my fiance to dinner for our anniversary, after we are married next year this will be our anniversary dinner for the foreseeable future! Everything was wonderful, the drinks, the food, the atmosphere, the staff. It was an amazing dinner, excellent all around experience. If you are thinking about it, just go ahead and make a reservation. You will not regret it."

  • "Always look forward to an excellent night out for dinner. Franklinville Inn makes a special occasion even more special...The booths in dining area by bar, made for a romantic , elegant atmosphere. The lobster tails were prepared to perfection, from the warm butter served on tea light to keep it warm. Even though my drink of the day was the blue Hawaiian , and it came out green , I was transformed back to my Hawaiian vacation. The little extra touches make this whole experience so special, ie: fresh cracked pepper, informed servers, opening of the doors , the green dot on the check holder, professionalism of the entire staff."

  • "The only place we have found to always have a consistent and excellent dinner. Server Gina was awesome and attentive. We celebrate all our special occasions there."

  • "We love the Crab Cakes and the Steak is fantastic, but this time we went with the Salmon Italiano and it is our new favorite. The flavors just hit you mouth and filled the senses. My wife had it and the next time we go I will get it."

  • "Dinner wasnt as good as I last remembered. Filet Mignon was fatty. Shrimp stuffed with crabmeat however was good and the mashed sweet potato was delicious. Chocolate Mousse for dessert was not good - similar to a firm chocolate pudding. Wasnt impressed."

  • "This has always been my favorite restaurant, I have been coming here for over 20 years, it is always consistant, the food and service is always excellent and in my opinion the food can not be topped. I cook a lot of homemade foods and I know that they are using the best quality food they can buy. I hope the recipes will always remain the same. The chefs are top notch."

  • "Always wonderful and consistent at The Inn. Crabcakes are delicious and the ribs have spoiled us for life. We can't get ribs anywhere else, they will never compare to the ribs at Franklinville Inn. The downstairs back room has new high backed booths which are very nice and keep conversations more private. Service is always impeccable. Our server on the last visit did a fantastic job as usual, but the poor girl had the whole back room with full booths to take care of, so it was a long visit at The Inn that night. Can't really fault her for that."

  • "We have been here 2 times so far. Very Very impressed the 1st time and still very good the 2nd. Our only disappointment was that my husband's prime rib this time was too "fatty" especially for the price. We don't mind paying for a good steak but were a little disappointed this time. Atmosphere very nice. Also, they treat guests with a lot of kindness and respect. That is a cut above your average restaurant."

  • "Celebrated anniversary June 19, 2014. Had a great dinner. The twin lobsters were cooked perfect, and the desert as usual was great. Like coming here for special occasions, but also know whenever we go the meal will be excellent. Franklinville inn never disappoints."

  • "We've only been here twice but we love this place. The first time was on a date night, just my wife and I. Cozy, romantic, perfect. The second was Father's Day 2014. Our 2 sons came. A little pricey but portions were just right, even for our 14 year old. We also love the history of the building! I recommend Franklinville Inn to everyone."

  • "The service is top notch, and the food is excellent. If you go away hungry - it is your fault. Plan to arrive early to have a minute to enjoy the wonderful staff at the bar, and the delicious peanuts. It is not fast food, the prices are moderate for the quality of the experience."
    Dined on 6/15/2014
  • "We appreciate the accommodation for adding extra people to our reservation just hours before arriving and tolerating my 2 children ages 2 and 5. Food was subperb but martini could have been a bit stronger."

  • "My girlfriend and I just recently dined here for our anniversary. With all the positive feedback I heard from friends, my expectations were high. Needless to say, They were more than fulfilled. The server was extremely polite and actively ensuring our needs were met. The food is the real bread winner here. We ordered an assortment of different sea food and all was cooked to perfection. I've never been more pleased, with every aspect of every dish being incredibly delicious. The prices are a little higher than you're average restaurant, but is all made up for in the quality and service delivered. This is our new favorite place to eat and I would highly recommend it!"

  • "My Dad wanted seafood, specifically lobster tail, for Father's Day dinner so I choose the Franklinville Inn. He got the twin lobster tail and said it was fantastic. I got the prime rib, medium size (queen cut) OMG this thing was huge! The king cut must be the size of a roast! It was done perfect, pink through out just as I asked. Apple pie ala mode for dessert and it was fantastic. My only complaint was I ate too much! Definitely will be back."

  • "Each and everytime we have been here we have had nothing but top notch service and food. Our server the last couple time was Robert who does an amazing job. We have been there late last two times, reservations at 9pm and like the smaller crowd and being able to talk with staff."

  • "We went with good friends of ours on our 31st Anniversary. As always the food was great, the service was great and while we are their, we always start planning our next visit. They have the best ribs that I have ever eaten. I don't even look a at menu, I just order the ribs and have never been disappointed."

  • "We were very disappointed that the upstairs lounge was not available. This has happened several times. It was either not open or they were closing it down for the evening"

  • "I have never been disappointed in the taste or quality of food served at the Franklinville Inn, always a memorable dining experience. Best baby back ribs, crab cakes, filet mignon, etc…. you will find anywhere in the area. Always a favorite spot for us to visit for any occasion!"

  • "We haven't been to the Franklinville Inn for a few years, so we were pleasantly surprised when we visited recently. We had no idea they had an upstairs. The new décor was very fresh and inviting. The downstairs dining area was not as crowded as we remember from years ago. Service was professional. Wait for the food could have been a little more quick. It was some time before we received the soup and salad. It shouldn't have taken that long in my opinion, however the food was delicious and plentiful. Overall the experience was excellent and we will return soon!!"

  • "Food, service were awesome as always. Filet mignon was cooked to perfection and huge!! Chef's soup (creamed chipped filet) was unique and very good. Bisque was superb. Only complaint would be being seated next a group of businessmen who were a bit loud. There were plenty of other seat we could have been seated in, but all in all, it was a great night for a birthday dinner."

  • "My wife and I visited the Franklinville Inn for her birthday and found this place to be amazing. the atmosphere and setting was relaxing, it was very quiet compared to other places in the Delaware valley that we have visited, this made for a very pleasant experience. As for the food, Amazing, the three choices I have to share are the crab cakes, the Ribs and the Prime Rib. all three are a great choice. and lastly the service staff is Awesome! our server made us feel right at home and we never felt rushed during the whole time we were there. I would highly recommend visiting this place sometime soon, but I recommend making a reservation as they have a limited seating try using Opentable it works like a charm "

  • "I've been to many restaurants, but none quite like the Franklinville Inn. After we were seated we were greeted by our waiter Todd. He was very knowledgeable and told us about the specials for the evening. After we ordered our drinks we started with the crab bisque soup as an appetizer. It was by far the best that I have ever had, next our salads were served, again totally delicious. Now for our entree's. My girlfriend had the inn 's crab cake along with the filet Mingon and a double baked potato which she said was outstanding. I had the Broiled seafood combination along with the double baked potato. I must say everything was cooked perfectly. We ended with a Creme Brûlée for desert which was decadent, all in all our evening was perfect. "
