Frankie's Pizzeria & Scaloppinebrick chickeni'm glad the brick chicken is back...... it's the best!5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMReasonalbe DiningFirst time here...will return!! I'm a LEYE fan. Once again no disappointment here. Very reasonably priced. Chicken was excellent as was my daughters pizza.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat salad, pasta, pizzaThis was my second time at Frankie's and I was not disappointed. My daughter and I took my niece to Chicago for her birthday. We chose Frankie's for her birthday dinner and all ate way too much, but it was sooo good. The service was also wonderful. We told the waiter it was my niece's birthday, and he bought her dessert. What a perfect evening!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Neighborhood Italian SpotI love going to Frankie's - it's conveniently located, has excellent food for the price, a good wine selection (also excellent for the price), and is a great place to catch up with friends and family. Looking forward to my next visit!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMA good choice-with the right choicefirst, the management and our waiter could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The setting, tho in the Bloomingdale mall, was off in a quiet spot on the 5th floor, and the decor -- upscale checkered tablectloth and oversize umbrellas -- along with the view out the giant porthole window on Michigan Avenue, made for a charming, romantic ambience. I very much enjoyed my made-to-order brick-oven pizza. My date for the evening was less impressed with her pasta primavera, but then she's always been hard to please, which is why she's my ex-girlfriend. (It was my birthday and I was hard up, what can I say? TMI?) I'm looking forward to getting back to Frankie's and sharing a seat by the big window with a more congenial companion.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMThe staff and the serviceThe staff and the service were very professional, yet non-intrusive. The food was very good as well.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMA "slightly hidden" gem!Frankie's is a bit "hidden" on the fifth floor of 900 N. Michigan building. I sought it out because I am a member of the Lettuce Entertain You Frequent Diner program.
My husband and I were delighted with dinners chosen from their "specials" menu. My lemon garlic rissoto with scallops was creamy and full of flavor. My husband's lobster salad was so good, I noted all the ingredients with hopes of duplicating it at home.
Service was friendly, without being intruding. Our meals arrived very soon after ordering. We had plenty of time to have a leisurely dinner before the theatre.
In all, dinner at Frankie's was a very memorable experience.4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were looking for a placeWe were looking for a place for a pre-concert meal. The atmosphere was just about right. Even though you are essentially in a shopping mall, they create a comfortable setting with a large window overlooking Michigan Avenue. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service was efficient without making feel like we were being moved along. And the $5 parking in the attached deck? Priceless. A nice place for a nice meal. I would happily go back.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMremains one of my consistentremains one of my consistent favorites for qulity, service & Value4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMconsistent for food & service--consistent for food & service-- good for lunch-- enjoy half price wine bottle specials

Thank you!!4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMCute for couples on a budgetI took my boyfriend out for our anniversary, and we loved the place. It was a hard find without the word-of-mouth recommendation, but it was everything and more that we could have asked for. I liked that it wasn't really that crowded, and the service was among the best we have had in the city! The atmosphere was very chill and it was a great price point for two young people on a budget ($10 for a bottle of wine!) Everything was delicious and there was enough food for leftovers!4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMFrankie Scallopine, the next PopeFrankie's is terrific. On the site of the prior restaurant, Tucci Benucchi, Frankie's exceeds Tucci in every way. The wines are priced to sell, the food is great and the service is bustling but right there for you! The fritto misto (seafood app) was good, but the minestrone and Caesar salad were excellent. Our entrees were the chicken scallopine which my wife loved, and my special pesto sausage risotto...what a dish! Fantastic! There are so many choices, it's easy to go back frequently. Parking at 900 makes it so easy with a discounted fee.4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat restaurant-Chef ChrisGreat restaurant-Chef Chris is wonderful and talks to all the customers. Front staff at seating is also kind and patient. I wished I lived downtown again-I would be over for lunch everyday!3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMFor open table: person checkingFor open table: person checking us in asked whether we had reserved inside or outside. I told him that this service had not specified different options. This may be something to consider in the future.3/9/2013 12:00:00 AMWind down and relax! We love sitting at the bar and watching the bulls game while having drinks and great food! Ambience is very nice especially since they remodeled and added booths. We love the fish. Pastas are very good also. It is a good neighborhood place and Lettuce Entertain You does it well.
