Had a great meal there last week. Ambiance is very 50's steak house. Servers are always very friendly, professional and attentive. The menu has lots of alternatives and everything we've ever ordered has been very good or excellent. This time, I had the special rib eye which was delicious, the crab cake on the side was super, and my husband's veal parmesan was excellent. Only issue was that we had a reservation and arrived 15 minutes late as got lost. Tried to call restaurant but line was busy. Food was very good in general, though steak not up to par. Food took a little too long to come from kitchen, and fortunately, we were a foursome with lots to talk about. As usual the service was great and food items from the basic menus were good, I should say, consistent. But as usual, and unfortunately, the fish specials disappointed. They were dry, over cooked and generally uninteresting in both taste and presentation. We try to venture from the ordinary but always seeing to be disappointed. The service does sometimes compensate for the lack of effort in the kitchen on what are supposed to be "specials". Why don't they just stick to the basics since there is really nothing special about the "specials". We like the place so, we'll keep trying. Nice interior and fun atmosphere without being at all stuffy. We had the lobster mac and cheese, which was rich and flavorful, and the Savannah Sole, which was also very good. Steak also appears to be a specialty, but some of the best selections only come with a coffee rub to which some beef purists might object. The wine list has many of the standards but also some interesting picks -- we hadn't had the Justin Chardonnay before. Service was friendly and professional. None of the up-selling that can be found in other restaurants around the island. The curry lentil soup was very tasty and the salmon was a generous portion and also deliciously seasoned. The steak and prime rib-eaters at our table were not disappointed. When I mentioned going to Five Guys for hamburgers one night we were at HH, our daughter said if I'm only going to eat red meat once this week it has to be Frankie Bones! But the funnest part of the meal had to be dessert for the kids...S'mores they fixed right at the table! Frankie Bones is now the grandkids' favorite place because of that dessert option. All four dinners were excellent, loved the specialty 'lobster mac and cheese'. Other couple had tile fish and wahoo fish, both said they would do it again.
