Two in our party ordered the mahi-mahi special... we were informed after a while that there was only one left. Antipasto appetizers were very good. Food was very good. Nice drink menu."

  • "Second time we've been here. The early bird offering on this occasion was remarkable. Prime rib was perfectly cooked and a very nice portion. Twice baked mashed potato side was rich and tasty. Salad was crisp and the accompanying bread was warm either an herb butter. Atmosphere was old time Chicago type steakhouse. Next time steak is definitely what I'll order. A terrific choice. Tip: be certain to make a reservation."

  • "This is one of those everyone should go once type spots; food will, as my husband says, "fill the belly" -portions are generous. Decor is 1940s Sinatra lounge and the dice lollipops are cute idea. Kids n families will enjoy, prices are fair and waitstaff trained to keep tabletops turning without being too obvious. Older couples or foodies might not be as enthralled..."

  • "Overall it was a good experience. The hostess did a masterful job of responding to the large amount of people in the lobby due to the inclement weather. The food was excellent, the server was very attentive and pleasant, and while the place was full to capacity, our food arrived quite promptly with just the right amount of time to enjoy the appetizers. I highly recommend the tuna carpaccio and the tilapia almondine. The wine list was good but not great. For a Italian restaurant, I felt there should have been more Italian wines, especially whites which were conspicuously absent. There are some very good yet moderately priced Italian whites that would complement the seafood quite well."

  • "Took a annual vacation week in Hilton Head. Liked the option of dinning inside or outside. Had preteen grandchildren with us for early dinner. Food selection met the needs of adults and grandchildren. Service was prompt with cocktails, dinner a little longer but we were not in a rush. Activity sheet helped 10 year old while waiting. Waitress was cued in to the need of the children as well as the adults. Crab was delicious, as well as sea bass. Was disappointed that the fried shrimp had not been deveined prior to preparation' Shrimp taste was good but I am used to having the larger shrimp deveined before battersing and frying. Please address this. If goal in to make it short then your required number of characters is too too many"

  • "From the moment we arrived the staff was amazing. True southern hospitality. Our waitress katie was very sweet & attentive yet not over bearing. The food most importantly was amazing! Every dish was so delicious. Frank's signature ribeye was the best we've ever had and The lobster mac and cheese was perfection. No complaints or slight disappointments in any dish. They definitely get brownie points for putting up with a grumpy member in our party. Perfect place for a special occasion or just a relaxed week night dinner."

Incredibly NOISY...but service and food good...but not great...noise level is ridiculous in the bar area. The meatball appetizer was especially good and the entrees (NY Strip, Petite Filet, Liver & Onions, Sausage Pasta) were good. Service was just a little slow...not bad...just a little."

  • "We have eaten here many times and always are pleased. This time we had prime rib, lobster Mac, and a New York strip. Everyone was pleased. The service was great. There's was a large party in our fairly small room that was noisy, but they were finishing and left before our food came. Even our 2 year old grandson liked his cheese ravioli."

  • "My wife and I dined at Frankie Bones for Mother's day. What a special treat for her. Our server, David Kindle, did an outstanding job taking care of us. His knowledge of the menu and dinner specials guided us to the right choices, and his help with wine pairing (without breaking the bank) allowed our wine choice to perfectly compliment the meal. We've lived in the Hilton Head area for 2 years, but unfortunately had never been to Frankie Bones. It was certainly our mistake, we'll be regular guests from now on, and we'll be sure to ask for David when we return."

  • "I went to Frankie Bones on a friends recommendation and I wasn't disappointed. The only thing I didn't enjoy was my Italian Margarita. It was too strong and tasted like straight alcohol. That may be how it is supposed to taste, it was my first time having one, but for me it was too much. I ordered the chicken marsala with whipped potatoes and it was so good I forgot all about the drinks. The Marsala sauce was one of the best I've ever had and the grilled chicken just enhanced the flavor. The person I was with ordered the chicken Alfredo and it was remarkable as well. The location was great as well as the decor. We will definitely return to Frankie Bones, I only wish we lived closer so we could go more often!"

  • "Picked this out of the blue while we were vacationing. Would definitely return, there were so many things on the menu that we would like to try. Had three teens with us on this trip and they also enjoyed the place and had a lot of menu choices for them. Great attentive service. Quick but not too much so. With teens, we did not visit the bar, but it looked like a great place to stop by."
