Frank Ski's Restaurant & LoungeWorthy to be PraisedI love the relaxed feel of this restaurant. It was as though we were dining at a friend's house. We went to the brunch and everything on t it was good. Especially the Mac & Cheese. It was all superb.We will return to check out the main menu to see if it's as wonderful. The service was exceptional, waitress was friendly and on time with all services provided. It was also affordable. I also liked the Mother's Day touch of all mothers being provided a rose. We definitely will return.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMNo Return Call To Make ReservationI called the restaurant to make reservations, but nobody never did return my call, I was trying to make reservations for party of 18, so I had to go online and make reservations, but it would only let me make reservation for party of 6, I was dissatisfied with the customer service, because I didn't get a return call to make the reservation. The atmosphere was very comfortble and the crowd was business professional and casual for an after work affair. Frank Ski's decore was very tasteful and upscale. The service was great. My waitress Shana was the best. She was very familiar with the menu and was able to answer all our questions about the menu as well as the drink menu. I had the fish tacos, they were awesome. The crab cakes were definitely a hit, nothing but crabmeat and it was seasoned & cooked to perfection. I will definitely be going back again. Earlier that day we had a family gathering and wanted to go out for late appetizer, drinks and dancing. Loved the old school music. We were a little late and missed our reservation time however they seated us at a table in the area that would be the dance floor later. No problem with that however we decided not to order appetizers because we would have to move at 11pm. Outside is nice and comfy with tables and seating which will be better in warmer weather. We will go back for the outside dining. I appreciated the server's knowlegde of the menu. The food taste didn't really tickle my fancy. I truly had my mouth set for more of a mouth-watering. I tend to always bring friend there who have never been there before. the only problem last visit was there was unsweet tea Mother Love unsweet tea. The waitress was wonderful she just started her new job. I even took a picture with Frank Ski myself I have never been disappointed in my visit there. The reservation process was very productive. The food is always enjoyable, and being there on a Saturday afternoon, it was very quiet. As I was the designated driver, I asked for coffee to drink, and it took OVER an hour to get a cup of coffee. I had to continually ask our server to please bring my coffee. This time I got the seafood pot pie and it was absolutely amazing! The first bite tasted like heaven! Our waitress was absolutely fabulous. There was a group of eight of us, she was very nice and friendly the entire time. She checked on us to make sure that our drinks were topped off and that we had everything that we needed. My girl sat right next to me and we had to raise our voices just to have a conversation with each other. Our food was great and the restaurant decor was nice. Would love to come in and sit on the couches and drink wine and talk with my guest but we won't be able to hear each other unless we yell. I received a complimentary cupcake with a candle. The DJ wished my happy birthday before the night was over. The food and drinks were delicious! The roasted chicken was good and so was the short rib. Valet was a little overwhelmed and could use some help. This was our first time there and now we can say we've been. The Shrimp Basket Appetizer was delicious, perfect breading and fried without a greasy taste. The Creole Seafood Pot Pie was amazing. Savory and Delicious. The cheeseburger was perfectly prepared and enjoyed. For dessert, do not pass up the Shombe's Peach Cobbler. It is to die for. Frank Ski's provided excellence in customer service. Keyandra had a great smile, was friendly and helpful. The made a fine dining experience finer. The decor is lovely.
