My Waldorf salad was excellent and served very timely. Decent wine choices for some whites I go to choose from. Services excellent and friendly. The noise level was awful. Hard to hear your table mate speaking. Noise came mostly from kitchen. If one could have sat outside, would have made the food better

We went to the restaurant for lunch on our anniversary. It was quite disappointing in its decay. This venue was a very special place to go for a meal many years ago. It is now a little threadbare and the floors were not swept. The food was good, but WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for the experience.

The restaurant was okay for a hotel restaurant but at their prices I would not expect a laminated menu. The food was very good and the service was just okay. The hostess definitely needs to go back for customer service training. The waiters, chef, and manager all gather at the visible expediting station which is a growing trend in restaurants. With this type of setup they are on display so guests watch and listen. This was a little noisy in relation to our table. We asked at the time of our seating (early reservation) to move to another table and although the restaurant was almost empty to the hostess would not comply. We should have insisted but did not want to make a scene.

A great place for group as we saw 20 seating in the back room, but the noise echo, so we decided to eat on the patio. It was a nice night and all the stars were out lovely scene very romantic. Excellent meal and service as usual. Especially the chocolate cookie warmed up and the vanilla ice cream, the old fashion great touch.

My son picked Frank & Albert's for his 18th Birthday dinner. The grounds of the Biltmore are beautiful - we were glad we got there early to be able to walk around a bit. Our waiter Krasi was wonderful. Attentive but not intrusive, humorous but not fake. The fried calamari appetizer was the best we've ever had - and I don't usually like calamari! We had a party of 5 and all got different dishes. The scallops and the steak frites were our favorites. And I highly recommend the cookie crumble for dessert!

The food was fantastic - we loved everything we ordered. The service was attentive but a bit slow - waiting in between courses and to order drink refills. Which was odd because it was a very slow night. Everyone was very friendly just would have preferred it was a bit faster. Beautiful setting on the Arizona Biltmore property - if you have not been worth going!

Decided to try breakfast here while I was in the area for business. I had the French toast stuffed with captain crunch. The presentation was very nice, lots of fresh berries. The French toast itself was pretty flavorless. Not terrible as it was moist and fluffy, but not great either.

Very disappointed especially since the reviews were quite good. Menu was limited and the food was simply mediocre for our lunch. Went to Wright Place last year and enjoyed an outstanding meal and, therefore, had high expectations. Not Biltmore quality! After a rocky start, the service was very good. Will avoid this venue for lunch but will go back to Wright Place.

The restaurant is clean and pleasant with a beautiful view of the grounds. We had reservation for a party of 6. The restaurant was not crowded. The service was okay. Unfortunately the food was not compared to the price. I got there ahead of the group and had a drink at the bar where the meatloaf was recommended. I was not impressed and did not eat the meal. The only taste to the mashed potatoes was salt. Three of the party ordered prime rib, and it was was pretty standard stuff. The baked potatoes were about half cooked. The vegetables were tough and slightly undercooked and salty. At more than $50 per head (not counting liquor) it was a major disappointment for us. Breakfast is good but I would find some place else for dinner.

May in Arizona is the start of our summer heat. It was a rare treat that we had a spring like day and thought a dinner on the patio would be nice. Out check for 2 dining on a shepherds pie, ribs, iced tea, coffee and a slice of pie was $70. It would be different if the quality of the food was better, but it was more like you would find at any chain. I expected more from a Waldorf managed property. Wishing that I would have headed to Beckett's Table instead. We really wanted to like because the property is beautiful and close to home.

The server said the place was famous for fish tacos. My friend ordered these but was disappointed with the uncooked tacos, that broke before they could be consumed. The cole slaw/salad in the tacos was ordinary and filled to the brim such that one could not place fish in it. I had a waldorf salad that tasted fine. Overall, the price of the dishes did not match (quite overpriced) with the quality offered.

Service started out great, it seemed everyone was interested in our lunch experience. We did not order any drinks but water. My Mother ordered a salad and I ordered a sandwich. The food arrived quickly and was very good. Things went downhill when HALFWAY through the meal one of the servers arrived with the check, said something about dessert (not ready to think about it yet), then asked if we wanted our meal charged to the room and when I replied we were not staying there asked if we wanted to pay with cash or credit card. I have enough fine dining experience to know this was way out of line. At this point I just wanted to finish my meal, pay the check and leave when earlier we had considered having dessert and coffee. Not impressed.

In Phoenix for the weekend and went to see the Biltmore designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Although the hotel is very elegant, the restaurant is like a sports bar. Filled with LOUD sportsfans and families (some of my best friends are...). We were seated at the back next to a family of 8 or 10 with a number of boisterous kids. It felt like we were in a Chili's or Applebee's but at 3x times the price. The food was as good as Chili's or Applebee's, but at 3x times the price. As we were leaving we noticed that there was a lovely outdoor terrace which was much more quiet. Unfortunately, we weren't even offered the option. It was very disappointing. The other restaurant, which was more expensive, did not have a soul in it.

Even though we did not have the date night we planned the service was good. The food was good, portions were ample. I enjoyed the Walford salad and my husband enjoyed the Crabcake. Entrees were not special so we decided to pass on dessert. I don't want to give a negative review based on our experience but everything was just ok .

I took my out of town guest there for lunch and a tour of the grounds and she loved it! The food was excellent and service superb. We ate outside on the patio and enjoyed the lush grounds. Be sure to take a glimpse of the pool area and outdoor chess set. Old world charm, for certain. I asked the chef for the recipe for the chicken salad and he personally brought it out to me. He reduced the ingredients down from a 5 gallon size to prepare at home. Service beyond compare!

We had been at and IFMA conf. a few years ago and we were anxious to show the Biltmore to the friends we were visiting in Scottsdale. Ambiance/food were very good. Only problem was, our server misunderstood one of our guest orders and a reuben was delivered instead of a hamburger. The delivery person, immediately recognized the problem and promptly brought the correct item. In the mean time the server who taken the order came by to tell our guest that HE had ordered the wrong item. This was definitely not the case since the other 3 of us clearly heard our guest order a burger. Bad enough our serve didn't own up to the error, but to then blame our guest was simply unacceptable. Obviously additional customer service training is warranted.

Frank and Albert's is located in such a beautiful spot, it is worth walking around the grounds to take in the gorgeous view of all that the landscaping has to offer. Unfortunately, once you are in the restaurant, you are left wishing the inside matched the outside. The interior of the restaurant is outdated, and there is nothing notable in the (lacking) ambiance. I came here for a date night with my girlfriend, and while we had absolutely no complaints on the food - every single thing we ate, including the mussels appetizer and the jalapeno cheddar bread with pecan goat cheese, was mouth-watering delicious! We just wished the interior had more of a romantic, or some sort of feel to it, other than outdated hotel restaurant.
