  • "One of my favorite spots for a business lunch. Fantastic setting, convenient, great food and service."

  • "although the food is really great, the best part of dining at frank and alberts is being able to sit outside in the lush garden setting. So it depends if a person lives in Phoenix and doesn't really appreciate the warmer temperatures or if a person wants to soak up the rays."

  • "Arrived right at our reserved time. Seated Immediately. Great service. Good Food. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit."

  • "This is our second visit to Frank and Alberts. We especially appreciate the outdoor dining area. It is lovely and perfect for two people or a party of 40. The menu and wine list are not extensive but there is something for everyone. We will go back every time we visit the Phoenix area. Definitely make a reservation."

  • "The server said the place was famous for fish tacos. My friend ordered these but was disappointed with the uncooked tacos, that broke before they could be consumed. The cole slaw/salad in the tacos was ordinary and filled to the brim such that one could not place fish in it. I had a waldorf salad that tasted fine. Overall, the price of the dishes did not match (quite overpriced) with the quality offered."

  • "Service started out great, it seemed everyone was interested in our lunch experience. We did not order any drinks but water. My Mother ordered a salad and I ordered a sandwich. The food arrived quickly and was very good. Things went downhill when HALFWAY through the meal one of the servers arrived with the check, said something about dessert (not ready to think about it yet), then asked if we wanted our meal charged to the room and when I replied we were not staying there asked if we wanted to pay with cash or credit card. I have enough fine dining experience to know this was way out of line. At this point I just wanted to finish my meal, pay the check and leave when earlier we had considered having dessert and coffee. Not impressed."

  • "We received great service from Susan. We even gave her high marks on Trip Advisor. This place offers a romantic setting especially outside near a fire place. We try to each here each year that we stay at the Arizona Biltmore. Also, the menu offers a lot of good entrees."

  • "Maitre'd was excellent. Food quite good. Hotel experience unique."

  • "In Phoenix for the weekend and went to see the Biltmore designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Although the hotel is very elegant, the restaurant is like a sports bar. Filled with LOUD sportsfans and families (some of my best friends are...). We were seated at the back next to a family of 8 or 10 with a number of boisterous kids. It felt like we were in a Chili's or Applebee's but at 3x times the price. The food was as good as Chili's or Applebee's, but at 3x times the price. As we were leaving we noticed that there was a lovely outdoor terrace which was much more quiet. Unfortunately, we weren't even offered the option. It was very disappointing. The other restaurant, which was more expensive, did not have a soul in it."

  • "My husband and went out for a special date night. Shortly after being seated a party of 9 were seated next to us. The group consisted of 5 small children. Even though we did not have the date night we planned the service was good. The food was good, portions were ample. I enjoyed the Walford salad and my husband enjoyed the Crabcake. Entrees were not special so we decided to pass on dessert. I don't want to give a negative review based on our experience but everything was just ok ."

  • "Beautiful Biltmore grounds, elegant restaurant decor, good lunch menu, food excellent, nice extra touches like the complimentary loaf of bread, and the terrific "little pudding cups". And, above all, excellent service ... our waitperson Sharon was a delight."

  • "I took my out of town guest there for lunch and a tour of the grounds and she loved it! The food was excellent and service superb. We ate outside on the patio and enjoyed the lush grounds. Be sure to take a glimpse of the pool area and outdoor chess set. Old world charm, for certain. I asked the chef for the recipe for the chicken salad and he personally brought it out to me. He reduced the ingredients down from a 5 gallon size to prepare at home. Service beyond compare!"

  • "We had been at and IFMA conf. a few years ago and we were anxious to show the Biltmore to the friends we were visiting in Scottsdale. Ambiance/food were very good. Only problem was, our server misunderstood one of our guest orders and a reuben was delivered instead of a hamburger. The delivery person, immediately recognized the problem and promptly brought the correct item. In the mean time the server who taken the order came by to tell our guest that HE had ordered the wrong item. This was definitely not the case since the other 3 of us clearly heard our guest order a burger. Bad enough our serve didn't own up to the error, but to then blame our guest was simply unacceptable. Obviously additional customer service training is warranted."

  • "While visiting Phoenix, this is a "must". We ate there three times in two days, even though we were not hotel guests. It was a treat in every respect."
    Dined on 3/13/2014
  • "We look for healthy food options at restaurants and there aren't a lot at frank and albert's. The hummus comes with fried pita bread and there is bacon the waldorf salad, which was VERY small, anyway. It's a nice atmosphere and good service but lacking healthy options."

  • "It's the Arizona Biltmore - one of the world most extraordinary properties. Just walking through the lobby is an amazing experience. Fortunately, the dining experience lives up to the hotel ambiance. The food is quite good. A bit pricey, but worth it. Presented beautifully by an attentive service staff."

  • "We had the short ribs. They were good but we needed a sharp knife to cut the meat. The polenta was very good. The potatoes and carrots were undercooked and could not be cut with a fork."
    Dined on 2/19/2014
  • "really enjoyed the atmosphere, it is a little more pricey, but that was expected because of venue. Server was very nice, attentive but never felt rushed. The birds really enjoy the food too I know we sat outside , but maybe one of the downsides."

  • "Frank and Albert's is located in such a beautiful spot, it is worth walking around the grounds to take in the gorgeous view of all that the landscaping has to offer. Unfortunately, once you are in the restaurant, you are left wishing the inside matched the outside. The interior of the restaurant is outdated, and there is nothing notable in the (lacking) ambiance. I came here for a date night with my girlfriend, and while we had absolutely no complaints on the food - every single thing we ate, including the mussels appetizer and the jalapeno cheddar bread with pecan goat cheese, was mouth-watering delicious! We just wished the interior had more of a romantic, or some sort of feel to it, other than outdated hotel restaurant."

  • "The atmosphere isn't really fancy, but the prices are. The whole estate is lovely, so it was nice to walk around before our meal. Our waiter Kohl was very attentive. The menu was quite limited. We liked seeing it once, but won't go back."

  • "Happy hour menu was good and reasonable. Especially lovely dining on the patio. Service was outstanding."

  • "We dined there last Saturday. The table was okay but our service was very poor. We had the calamari and it was only average. Then I got the roast chicken and when it was served it had a gravy poured over it that had turned jelly like. The carrots and peas were raw and the mashed potato was so salty. We had to flag down our server and my husband was almost finished his burger already. Then I ordered the Shepards Pie which took a good 20mins to arrive and was also in edible, all you could taste was salt. The server never apologized or we never saw a manager. It was a very poor experience for a restaurant but especially for the Biltmore Resort. We will not return ever!!!"

  • "The restaurant was quite nice, good food (but a bit overpriced). The restaurant seating area was practically empty while the bar area seemed to be packed. Lighting in the restaurant was not ideal, felt very corporate."

  • "This restaurant is in the fabulous Arizona Biltmore. However, that in itself does not make it fabulous. It is really a glorified coffee shop with fine dining prices which would be OK if the food was fine dining. I sat on the patio to escape the mediocre decor of the restaurant. I ordered tea which came lukewarm and without sugar bowl or milk. I had to ask. Then I ordered the 4 grill cheese sandwich which was barely edible. The bread was dry and disintegrated in my hands. The cheese was interesting but hardly worth the $15 = or - price. I had fries. there was also no salr t or pepper or catsup. Get the idea? If this reastaurant were naywhere els, it would close in six months."

  • "As usual always great overall , a beautiful day in Phoenix Excellent Cobb salad and also burger well prepared. A lovely place in a great hotel, being able to eat outside on a large open and very green terra ses was a plus. A must try if in the area."

  • "The NYE dinner was $65 per person. That gave the option of several different menu items. I had the lobster bisque, sea bass and some sort of dessert. The bisque was like a thick soup. No lobster chunks were found in my wife's or mine. The sea bass came in a serving size fit for a small child. The fish was half the size of the palm of my hands and I have small hands. the dessert was some premaid pudding that tasted like something I wouldn't ever make at home because it was absolutely nothing special. Bottom line, I just donated $55 bucks to the place because the dinner was only worth at most $10. Extremely disappointing. Don't waste your time or your money on NYE at this place."

  • "This is a restaurant with truly good food. But, I am consistently disappointed with their wait staff. On this occasion, my guest finally got up to get someone to come and take our order. Once the order was placed, things went smoothly. Staff appears to be distracted, and first priority does not appear to be their guests."

  • "Our holiday meal was very enjoyable and the service was truly wonderful. We were a little perplexed that other diners were so casual and the atmosphere was not more festive for the occasion. The hostess and seating staff were adequate, but were distracted. However, I would definitely return for another meal here."

  • "It was Christmas Day, as expected restaurant was busy. First, restaurant did not honor advertised promotions...not a good way to begin a visit. Ordered Shepard's Pie...had to send it back the peas and carrots were literally raw. Daughter could not eat her pizza as the crust was so soggy. Service fair...multiple requests for wine list...failure to provide all wine glasses...check back very slow. Overall...not sure how this restaurant is in the same building as Wright's as I have had many good meals there."

  • "I had the Christmas Dinner consisting of a grilled Romaine salad, grilled honey glazed salmon with couscous, and pumpkin cheesecake. The food was delicious, and the service very good. However, the price was extremely expensive. There are very good restaurants in the area with comparable dishes for a much lower price."

  • "My companion and I had the burgers both cooked medium and they were perfectly cooked, pink enough and juicy. The regular fries were very good however the sweet potato fries were a little heavy with oil. Definitely plan on returning; the grilled cheese sandwich looks tasty :o) The outdoor seating/eating area is beautiful, lots of greenery which is rare in Phoenix."

  • "Food was great, service was poor. Server "franklin" didn't seem to have a good knowledge of the menu and he was hurried. Food was served by food runners prompt but we couldn't get refills. My some had a spicy dish and we had to get a hostess to get him a refill. Do they have busboys here? Franklin finally checked back with us after we had been finished for awhile. Asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu? He then had to go get them from somewhere and really didn't sell them up. The desserts are why we come here and they are an easy sell i think. I still gave a 20 percent because it was not all his fault. Seated all late tables in his area, manager could have checked on us too."

  • "Frank & Alberts is located at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel and Resort. It is a casual yet sophisticated environment. We are regulars for lunch and Sunday brunch. Given the locale, the prices are very reasonable. Service has always been a 10. It is located in the hotel, which adds the element of sophistication."

  • "Had a great meal at "Frank & Alberts". It was our first time dining there and we were pleasantly surprised with the great food and awesome service. It has a special occasion feel but with a relaxed vibe. We will plan a return visit and would recommend this restaurant to friends and family."

  • "Breakfast is simple and inexpensive to serve. I love the Biltmore but $70+ for breakfast for 3 with mediocre service, very loud setting and food that has rings like captain crunch in it kind of ruined the experience for me. The chicken and waffles with captain crunch is awful and I didn't even est the chicken at the waiter could have cared less."
