Franck`s is a casual fine dining restaurant set in a renovated old home with a warm, contemporary design. The dining room is small and cozy; it’s a friendly neighborhood "getaway". Franck`s menu may be described as American with a French flare. On the menu you will find classic American comfort food such as fried chicken, meatloaf, and steak as well as classic French dishes such as escargot, cheese fondue, etc.

At Franck`s our chef and his team prepares your meal as you watch him in our open kitchen and on our dining room `chef cam`! Franck`s sets a new standard for excellence in cuisine, service and ambiance at reasonable prices.

  • "The specials on the menu were the chef's whimsical creations. Sometimes, as in the duck with a dark chocolate fois gras sauce, they worked pretty well. Others such as the BLT soup were just weird. I got lucky and managed to hit mostly good stuff. My wife's meal was generally on the weird side, and she left most of it on the table."

  • "My husband and I went here for the first time for our anniversary, and it was fantastic! People who rave about the meatloaf and sous vide steak are not exaggerating—SO. GOOD. We also had the crispy Brussels sprouts, which were also incredible. I particularly loved my husband's cocktail (I can't remember what it was called, but it was basically a whiskey sour with fresh mint), and promptly traded him for mine (a rum/pineapple juice concoction that was a bit too sweet for me). For dessert, we had the whiskey butterscotch pudding. It was STRONG. Very tasty, but I couldn't eat much more than a few bites. The staff was very attentive and kind as well. The manager came out and wished us a happy anniversary! Great experience."

  • "We dined a Franck's for the 1st time in celebration of my daughter's birthday. The food was mostly superior and the service was superb. We highly recommend the Brussel sprouts, but both of our main courses were delicious. The salad was not our favorite as it was supposed to be a "wedge of butter lettuce" but was actually iceberg. Alas. Lastly, we had the carrot cake for dessert. The cake itself was somewhat dry and overall needed more cream cheese frosting and less of the "shell" jacket. In all, though, we loved the experience and we will go again and again."

  • "Aside from the charming outdoor ambiance, the personalized customer service and surprising menu selection has turned me into a raving fan. We were able to take our time to savor the wine pairing appetizer fondue, bask in the twists and bursts of favors of our entree' and end with such delight in the ice cream for dessert. It was a perfect first date experience... Made the my date dreamier. Nice to day dream of getting a wedding proposal at the same spot one day. Nonetheless I will return to enjoy the rest of the menu with family and clients."

  • "Franck's is a favorite of ours but we had not dined there in awhile. The evening was great, as always. Our server was outstanding---very knowledgable, friendly, and professional. And the food was incredible. My husband had a favorite---the fried chicken, and being born & raised in Georgia, he is very critical of fried chicken & he says Franck's preparation is the best (other than Mom's, of course!). I had the sea bass which was prepared to perfection."

Marla is an incredibly AWSOME server who makes the experience memorable every time. We have always felt so welcome at Franck's we have come to know many people who work there by name. That's not very common for us to get to know staff that well. The soups are always a must and if you want a great appetizer, go with the fondue."

As we strolled up the beautifully landscaped pathway, we were met by our lovely hostess who was kind enough to honor our request to be seated on the patio. We were immediately intrigued with the menu & house specials beginning with their signature cocktails. Our wonderful waitress took the time to introduce & recommend her personal favorites; very impressed by the Brussel sprouts--talk about a twist! Our entrees were out-of-this-world!   • "I have had the pleasure of dining at many of the other highly-acclaimed restaurants in the SLC area, and I have to say they do not touch what Franck's offers. A friend told me about Franck's and I decided it was time to try it. My girlfriend and I sat outside on the patio (which I have to say is THE nicest patio in town) and had a beautiful evening with great weather and even greater food. We were greeted by the manager who was very friendly and our server Felicia treated us like she has known us for a long time. We ordered the Brussels Sprouts appetizer which was so good that it was a conversation stopper (we had no room for words). The rest of the meal was truly perfect with the amazing dishes and the unbeatable service."

The staff was really nice and gave great recommendations (though everything is amazing) and even gave us a tour of their small herb garden. You can't go wrong with the food.   • "We went to Franck's, our second time, to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. Franck's meatloaf is my husband's favorite. He considers himself a meatloaf aficionado. Franck's, as they do with most entrees, does their own gourmet twist on the meatloaf. I had their new special, Veal Loin Milanese on Risotto with heirloom tomatoes and blackberries. It was delicious and the flavors made my mouth happy. We both cleaned our plates. The salad was crisp with a coconut dressing and French cheese that made it unique and full of flavor. They gave us a special dessert to share as we celebrated a special birthday. I highly recommend Franck's."

  • "My husband and I decided to try something new for our 10 year anniversary and I am so glad we did! Franck's was amazing! We had the cheese and fruit platter with honeycomb to start. The combo was very good and had a lot on the platter. It would be better for a group of 4 people. Then we had a watermelon soup and a salad that was really good. The soup had a bit of spice to it which I really liked. For yhe main course we ordered the famous meatloaf (3 kinds of meat) with blackberry sauce and the fried chicken with grits and hot sauce. They were both excellent and thr portions were HUGE! They even gave us extras for our celebration and I would highly recommend the sirloin and carrot cake flan if you can! We will be back very soon!"

  • "Best fine dining in Utah! We were a little early for the reservation and the manager personally escorted us to the bar to enjoy a beverage prior to dinner. The entire staff in both restaurants is overly accommodating & friendly. The manager returned to the bar to escort us to our table early. The waiter was very attentive & personable! The most amazing part of the dining experience is the food! It's an explosion of incredible flavors and cooked to perfection. We enjoyed the Gazpacho, Meatloaf and Rack of Lamb. Upon our departure the chef personally greeted us and asked us if we enjoyed the meal? How can you not enjoy perfection? To top it off...even the Valet remembered our car and retrieved it before we gave him our claim ticket."

  • "I brought my mother to Franck's for a late Mother's Day dinner and I couldn't believe how amazing the experience was. I knew of their reputation, but was completely blown away by the flavors, presentation and passion behind the food. We started with Crispy Brussel Sprouts; Flash fried in peanut oil, sweetened with an apple cider vinegar reduction, parm cheese and almonds. I wanted to lick the plate! We tried the soup of the evening, Passion fruit seafood chowder. Wow! Savory, hearty and sweet. For dinner, Pork Cheek Gnocchi, Sou Vide Waygu Sirloin and Southern Fried Chicken with cheesy grits and a spicy coconut sauce!! Unbelievable food! Thank you Franck's for a very memorable experience! YOU ARE TRUE ARTISTS!!!"

Not only was the food delicious (I had the Snake River Farms hamburger, which is to burgers what Ferrari is to automobiles - trust me!), but our waiter (a positively delightful woman) was as charming and attentive as any I've ever had wait on my table."

  • "I brought my wife to Franck's for her birthday. We had both moved to Utah from Los Angeles, and we are on the hunt for great places to eat for special occasions. The presentation of the food was probably the most beautiful and artistic that I've seen. The flavors were amazing too. My wife's sirloin strip was the most tender steak I've ever tasted. My own short ribs were great too though a touch salty. We had a soup which combined celery, blue cheese and a touch of hot sauce to recreate the flavors of hot wings. It totally worked and was delicious. Our dessert was a Pot de Creme. It combined guava preserves with a layer of creme freche, peanut brittle, and finally a topping of Green Tea crumble. It all tasted amazing! "

  • "We tried the tasting menu as a Mothers' Day treat. Sometimes it's fun just to let somebody else choose the menu, and this trip to Franck's completely justified that idea. The meal was terrific, maybe a little challenging for lazy palates - in short, an experience to be savored and remembered. Unlike their regular menu, these portions were not too large (a plus, in my opinion), but left us complete satisfied. In fact, beyond the posted menu, we were served an extra soup course that was a raspberry miso - a soup for adults that featured an interesting mix of sweet and sour. And the frozen butterscotch soufflé with pistachio brittle for dessert was exquisite! The meal overall seemed to be a glimpse of a good culinary mind at play. "
