The atmosphere was very nice as well. One of our party has hearing issues - sometimes can't hear others well and sometimes the noise level or pitch is bothersome, almost painful for this person. While there was a good buzz in the house it was very easy to converse - the acoustics are great. Main course took a little time to come out but it was apparent the kitchen got slammed so the slight delay was understandable. A friend and I split an order of calamari and a Bianca pizza. They were both amazing. The calamari was seasoned incredibly well and with a little bit of fresh Lemon it was perfect. Every aspect of the experience is thought through and carefully crafted. If you sit at the bar, you can watch the theater of the kitchen and the very Italian chef whose control of details is obvious.
The staff is exceptional.Very focused and friendly, you can watch the teamwork that insures that everything is covered promptly. I have now been there twice and the food was perfectly seasoned and prepared. Great menu, wine list and ambiance. And then there was the lovely Megan who took great care of us. Francesca (no, not Chef Francesco) gave us wonderful, attentive service. Menu pricing was reasonable and a good value, and the wine list had good quality at every price point. The restaurant was on the loud side, very "energetic" as described in the survey, but did not detract from the experience.
