We have now dined here on three separate occasions, and questionable whether we'll return. I would definitely recommend one to try the restaurant. Interesting, we have had the same waiter on all three occasions, and he is great, along with the overall service. The pizzas are really good! We finished our meals with decaf. coffee, first serve was terribly watery/not hot, and after a fresh pot was brewed, still bad. Unfortunately, the classic tiramisu and the strawberry tiramisu were very average at best. Either have great tiramisu or none. Strawberry?? Our guests that dined with us suggested we give Adriatico Trattoria Italiana a try.

The food is nothing short of fantastic. Highest quality ingredients prepared magnificently. You can't get better or more genuine fine italian food than this outside of Italy and even there Francesco's food would stand out. Service is great, ambience is wonderful, cheerful and unpretentious but the food is "out of this world"! Every meal is a symphony and every course outstanding. There is never a hint of the overly acidic, crude flavoring and superficial taste of the lion's share of so called "Italian" food. Francesco's serves the real thing like no other place for miles and miles and miles!

It's like someone transplanted a restauarant from Little Italy in New York or the North End in Boston to a huge space in Maitland. We went on a Saturday night, which included an opera singer, accordion player and violinist. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

This was our second time dining here and we will definitely be back, even though it's a 40 minute drive from our home. Beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere (the roaming trio of musicians was a very nice touch). Our server, Nino was very very nice. He was attentive without being overbearing, just a little difficult to understand. It was wonderful of him to suggest a smaller (cheaper) side salad with our meal as this option doesn't appear to be on the menu. Every single entrée ordered by our party (there were 5 of us) was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Our only complaint was that it took 45 minutes for the food to come out after we had ordered so we were starving by then!

Did a couples night out at Francesco's. Mderate wait but well worth it. Food served piping hot but most important, vert tasty, vusually appealing, and even more apetizing. I had the shrimp, capers, and garlic in a white cognac sauce over sphagetti. Awesome dish!

This was our first experience at Francesco's. While the reviews are mixed, we had heard good things about it from a neighbor. We will not be returning. The food was just OK, but the service and ambiance were awful. Our table had no salt/pepper/olive oil/grated cheese on the table and because the server was so inattentive there was little opportunity to ask for it. The food came out extremely slowly, and the restaurant was so cold that the food was cold before the food was eaten. The desserts are way overpriced. Long waits between courses and the server was nowhere to be found. Server tried to convince us that the cold air was really fresh air from outside. Not that cold in Florida in early October--our ankles were like icicles.

Was my first visit. My wife had a good lunch experience. Service was prompt. the atmosphere was attractive with multiple dining areas. We shared the mussels special appetizer which was excellent. Served in a slightly spicy red broth. Our entree was the skirt steak over arugula. Wish we would have ordered something different. Steak was just a bit tough suggesting maybe a bit more marinating was in order. Next time we will go for the pasta. Definitely worth a second visit.

It was my first time to eat at Francesco's. It was a friend's birthday and she chose this restaurant. I looked it up online before we went, and the menu looked good to me. I liked the look of the restaurant, but the food was not impressive in any way. I ordered the Pollo Arrosto,. The chicken was overcooked and dry and not very tasty. Maybe their pizza is good? Anyway, probably won't be a repeat customer.

The food was good, but, I had the shrimp & calamari steak and I think it should be an appetizer not an entrée as it wasn't enough food. If I hadn't ordered the whole wheat pasta with garlic & oil and a dessert I would have left your restaurant hungry. My husband had the veal parmesan and that was excellent. We also saw some other dishes that went to other tables and they looked intriguing. We will come again to try them but I will not order or recommend the shrimp & calamari dinner.

Francesco's is finding its niche and is overall a great place to go. We cycle through Antonio's, Rocco's, Enzo's, Francesco's, Armando's and even Anthony's. Francesco's is really getting pretty good. We had stuffed pork chops and a seafood combo of scallops, grouper in a wine sauce with fettuccine. The stuffed pork chops were supreme. The seafood was just ok. The reason is because they cook their food to such a high temperature that no seafood can survive that heat if cooked longer than a minute or so. It takes out the flavor and makes it rubbery. Their regular italian food, pizza's, beef, chicken, pork, pasta are constantly delicious so that's your best bet. Love the friendly atmosphere there. Staff is supreme.

We were seated on time as per our reservations. We needed to slow down the waitress as she wanted us to order quickly; I assume to turn her table over. The salad was field greens with an excellent dressing. My veal dish lacked taste, and my pasta was over cooked. My wife enjoyed her meal of pasta and meatballs. Everything was ok, but not great. I've been waiting for a real italian restaurant in Orlando for 30 years.Orlando has had a collection of mediocre corporate chains or pretentious horrible italian restaurants, focusing on service rather than authentic regional palates.Orlando also specializes in critics that are terribly unsophisticated. The city now has a real italian chef,Francesco, for those of us from Philadelphia and NYC .Working from family recipes every dish is consistently superb. The red sauces are perfect , they start slightly sweet and end with an acidic bite, just like the finest restaurants in the northeast. Francesco's interpretation of classic italian seafood and veal dishes are unparalleled in central florida. By all means ;go,go a lot.

We were seated right on time for our reservation. It was a busy Friday night but our server was friendly and attentive. We were with friends and ordered a good bottle of wine and received our wine and salads in a reasonable amount of time. We waited one hour from our salads until our entrees were served. Too long especially since a two year old boy was in a high chair 2 feet from our table. Except for a minute here and there he was never actually in the chair he was entertaining himself around the table so the hour seemed especially long. When we finally received our meals they were excellent! The best marinara on my eggplant & pasta.

Francesco's competes favorably with all of the best Italian restaurants in the Orlando area. Genuine and authentic Italian food served with a bit of a flair and always on time and fresh. Excellent choice if Italian is your target. Restaurant is not scenic, but interior décor is well done and in the best tradition of the Tuscan aesthetic. Comfortable at all times and a good buzz.
