Francesca's VicinatoGreat food as usualMy wife's first Mother's Day and we thought the perfect place would be Francesca's. My son was even wearing his bib given to him by the Frankfort Francesca's on of our favorite Francesca's. The food was outstanding as usual. The only thing that was a bit dissapointing was the service. It was definately not their normal level of great service. The wait staff and hostess just seemed to be a bit frazzled and unprepared for the day and it was only 12:30. I also think that they could have been more Mother's Day focused. I enjoy the ambiance better in Frankfort, but think the service and bar are better at Palos. Both place deliver very consistent food, always well above average. We also ordered the tilapia with a delicious sauce and veggies - great entree and somewhat healthy. I took my Mom for her 86 birthday and they served her a complimentary dessert which appreciated. They deliver a superb product. I have been to a few other Francesca's, notably on Oak Street by John Hancock, and this one in Palos had better service and more friendly ambiance.2/23/2013 12:00:00 AM
