My daughter and I split our meals because we couldn't decide, so I tried both the Tilipia and a pasta special. Both were outstanding. My husband had the roast chicken which he said was juicy and flavorful, and my son had the chicken arribiatta which he also enjoyed. A special delight - for me - has always been their beef carpaccio appetizer. I was greeted, "It's good to see you," as though I was returning to a family's house. I felt right at home and was given excellent service by the server throughout the dinner. This was the second time I dined here and they have yet to fail me! The servers are very friendly and there are lots of selections you can pick from. The pasta dishes were just okay.. This was my second time there and I think the menu changed since I went there last time. I loved the food the first time, but this time it was just okay.. I wouldn't want to order those dishes again, though. For better food, I would recommend Davanti's Enoteca that's just across the street of this restaurant. Since it was lunch time on a Sat. it was slow. They did not rush us. My friend ordered pasta with sausage and she enjoyed it. We shared calamari that was delicious. I had a pizza that was fresh and delicious. They brought us a dessert to share to celebrate her birthday. The host was very friendly and came over to wish her happy birthday. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Restaurant Week lunch menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the green bean, tomato and red onion salad followed by the special spinach-tomato individual pizza. My dessert of house made mango sorbet was the perfect end.
Francesca's on Taylor is one of our favorite restaurants for both lunch and dinner.
