Although I didn't try it, they do offer gluten free pasta. Would highly recommend Forno for an enjoyable meal.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMBrunchWe had a group of 7 and a reservation which was great! Food and Bloody Marys were wonderful. Loved the variety of the menu.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat overall experienceI come to Francesas at least once a month. I have never been disappointed with the service/food/dining experience, and I will continue to come back because of this. Keep up the good work.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMMy first time coming to FornoMy first time coming to Forno for Brunch and I was beyond impressed! Very unique, and different menu items that were bursting with flavor! I can't wait to come again, because there are more things on the menu I must try!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMA new menu at an old favorite.A new menu at an old favorite. We were surprised when Forno was no longer a small plates theme, but the quality is still there.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMThe service could not haveThe service could not have been better -- great comeraderie and teamwork among all the staff.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is one of our neighborhoodThis is one of our neighborhood staples and come here probably twice a month. The menu, while not huge, is ever-changing and there are always one or two daily offerings not on the menu. The variety of the seasonal menu as well as the rustic but refined ambiance are what keep us coming back.
Due to the location, the dining area is somewhat limited so you can expect a wait if you pop-in, especially for dinner. We usually call ahead for a table and have never had to wait more than a few minutes past our reservation time. That said, as we left on Saturday night, I saw them setting up for a party of 10-12. There is a bar area but it is small, is completely open to the dining room and fills up fast, especially on Friday and Saturday nigh4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place for a nice dinnerGreat place for a nice dinner in Bucktown/Wicker Park. Food was outstanding, great bread.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMI really think this is anI really think this is an underrated brunch spot in the neighborhood. I have twice tried to go to brunch at some of the "hot spots" in Wicker, but ended up coming here because the lines were too long elsewhere. There is rarely a wait longer than 20 minutes, and the food is creative and delicious. I love the Baked Egg Florentina and the Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes. My family had a very enjoyable Easter brunch here, and everyone loved the food.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat but cooks were overwhelmedI've been here multiple times. Food is normally wonderful, but on my last visit (when they were very busy) both mine and my dates entrees fell short of the mark. I had the calamari pasta and the pasta was far too undercooked which made it difficult to chew / enjoy. My date had the gnocchi and it had a rough odd texture ( under cooked and rushed ) most likely. Everything else was superb. Drinks, appetizers, and dessert was excellent and delicious.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AM
