A word from Francesca's Fiore
Francesca’s Fiore is the 10th restaurant in "The Family of Francesca Restaurants", bringing the downtown Forest Park area a restaurant with a contemporary, casually sophisticated trattoria ambiance, good, simple cooking, friendly service and fair prices. The menu features the zesty earthy cuisine of Rome and the surrounding areas of Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio.

The restaurant is located in the heart of the revitalized Madison Street area, just four blocks West of Harlem Avenue.

Francesca’s Fiore has four dining rooms and a spacious antique bar. The front dining room has floor to ceiling windows that can be opened during warmer weather. The two back dining rooms have beautiful stone fireplaces. All of these dining rooms are available for private events and can be combined for larger groups.

Diner Reviews
  • "I love this restaurant. My husband and I had the special sea bass entree and it was fantastic. I asked for mine without the butter sauce and the change was made with a smile. Desserts were great, bread wonderful, and waiter very sweet. We will return."

  • "Last Sunday, we enjoyed a nice meal at Francesca's There were 8 of us seated at a quiet corner table so no one was in our space nor were we in theirs. The food was delicious and the service was efficient. We all had a good time. Francesca's is a great spot right in the heart of Forest Park."

  • "I used to live around the corner from the original Mia Francesca. I recall it as a great neighborhood place with good food and a great atmosphere, all at a reasonable price. This is a fitting extension of the name. The food - pasta and a good salad - was flavorful and well prepared. The service was attentive and professional. The management was a notable but not intrusive presence. Overall, a great contribution to the Madison Avenue restaurant resurgence."

  • "Francesca's Fiore was slightly disappointing. Francesca's North is one of my favorite restaurants and the food here was not quite as good. The ambiance at Francesca's Fiore's on a snowy winter night was lovely. The fireplace was going. The service was good. Only the food was slightly disappointing. I requested Parmesan cheese with the bread and was NOT provided with freshly shredded cheese (as was served with the pasta dish). The special butternut squash bruschetta was tasteless. On the menu, the mixed vegetable pasta dish indicated it included eggplant, but there were only peppers and zucchini -- and no eggplant."

  • "Three of the four meals were great. My wife said her mussels were overcooked. Service was excellent."

  • "I had last been to Francesca's when it was a single location on Taylor Street, and it was wonderful. I was hoping that this expansion into the suburbs would maintain its quality, and it has. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice - we sat a few tables from a fireplace, which was a great touch on a cold November night. The service was a little slow at first, but picked up nicely, and was always friendly. The pear salad special was delightful, and I had the pork chops, which came with roasted vegetables and a wonderful sauce. The lamb ragu was also delightful. Overall, it was a very nice evening."

  • "We had a reservation with multiple children. They did a great job with the kids and our meals. We probably should have dined a little earlier, but everyone was great."

  • "The food was delicious and my husband and I really enjoyed everything about our date night."

  • "I ordered one of their seasonal special dishes i.e. pumpkin filled ravioli in brown butter sauce -- it was excellent. Others in my party raved about their dishes i.e. spaghetti with a medley of seafood. Unfortunately, the generous quantity inhibited us from ordering desserts which sounded very appealing. I was warned by the server that this might occur. Next time, I'll skip the antipasto and go for a dessert."

  • "Nice variety on the menu. Well prepared food. Moderately priced. Friendly, but professional waitstaff who seemed to work well together. Great place. And it's open on Mondays when many other restaurants aren't."

  • "Wonderful Italian food and reasonably priced. I had the special which was a medley of seafood in a spicy marina sauce and spouse had grouper. Both were salty but delicious. The bread was wonderful as well! It stands on its own with no need for oil or butter. Our server was polite and helpful when I did not care for the cocktail I ordered. We will be back because this was truly a wonderful meal!"
