In the heart of Davis Sq, we chose this for Easter Brunch and made a very good selection. Menu was short but more than adequate. mimosa were a fantastic offering from server and Andrew did a resctable and approriate job of checking on us and serving us.
Will go there again.
The quiet, yet warm atmosphere was perfect and the decor of black wainscotting was nicely lit.

We enjoyed this restaurant to celebrate a birthday and to wish some dear friends an amazing time as they venture off to Palm Springs to follow their dream. The place was very busy and "energetic." We would definitely go back. Everyone at the table loved the Mediterranean humus and pita, marinated mushrooms, and poutine were delicious. Our meals ranged from pizza to coq au von - amazing. Service was well-timed and friendly. The parking in Davis Square is a challenge, but there are several public parking lots to select from.

We went for brunch and while it was overall rather disappointing, there was one thing that deserved the highest praise: the beignets were exceptional: two or three times the size of the doughnut holes usually passed off as beignets, and feathery-light, like good popovers. The disappointments we had were with the execution of the other things we tried; perhaps the kitchen had a passing problem? So go for the beignets -- definitely! And hope the rest of the kitchen staff is more attentive to business on that day.

A friend and I recently went here for restaurant week lunch. The food was good and the service was attentive. The music was a little noisy. We had the beer, cheddar, and broccoli soup and the Cobb salad, followed by the parisian gnocchi and steak. The Parisian gnocchi were particularlly good but very buttery (which is both good and bad!). The desserts were a little uninspired, especially compared to the flavor on the previous courses.

We've been to Foundry on Elm several times now. I really enjoy the food. They offer a nice mix of traditional bar go-to's and upscale dishes. At the beginning the excellent food is what kept us coming back, because the service was spotty. But it now seems like that is a thing of the past.

The Foundry is a great neighborhood restaurant for casual food, excellent beer on tap, and good appetizers. They serve a terrific cheeseburger and give you the option of mixed green instead of fries. It's a good place to people watch or view the street action in Davis and it's a good place to bring friends, have a few drinks and share apps.

The food wasn't anything special but not bad. The noise level was horrific - I was out with a group of 5 and I practically had to scream all night. The music was way louder than it needed to be, especially considering noise level without it.
The desert menu was seriously lacking.
