The Foundation Room is gorgeous and the service is impressive to say the least. Our server John was amazing. He read our minds and anticipated our needs. The entire staff worked so hard to make sure our party of 6 was happy and served in time to make our show downstairs at the HOB. The food was delicious, the drinks were perfect, the scenery was gorgeous and our experience was above and beyond wonderful. We had such a fun, unforgettable time and hope to make it back soon. Thank you!

Delicious food, great wine, beautiful view, incredible ambiance. However.... My family and I went here to see a friend play the Foundation Room. We had an 8:00 reservation for dinner, which seemed fine since he didn't go on till 9:30 (and in another room) By 9:20, our entrees had not arrived (even though we ordered them around 8:30). This was VERY frustrating except that the Manager was exceptionally courteous, understood our problem, and took care of all our needs PROMPTLY. Turns out the kitchen was very backed up, which they should have been used to on Saturday night. We would likely go back because we had a great time but it somewhat soured the evening that we almost missed our friend's show due to service. Keep that in mind.

Impeccable service from the bouncer the moment we set foot on the property, to the hostess, wait staff, and bartenders. Although we frequently dine out at upscale restaurants, this was one of the finest experiences we've ever had, thanks to the outstanding service. The ambiance of the lounge, where we had a cocktail while waiting to be seated, was very hip and rock n'roll. Not too loud to talk, but energetic, with a dj, followed by live music. We were seated in a small room for members (though we're not) that is said to be the captain's quarters from the Titanic's sister ship. It was gorgeous, intimate, and unique. The shrimp and grits is a delicious entrée,and the sauce makes it superb. The filet mignon was also top notch.

The hostess was friendly and accommodating. She went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. The bartender was friendly and took great care of us. We sat in the Ganesh room. The waiter was friendly, accommodating, and took amazing care of us. The drinks and food were outstanding. We really got the VIP treatment in the foundation room. The foundation room is the only way to go at HOB.

I'm a huge fan of the House of Blues Foundation Room in Las Vegas so while on a recent trip to LA, decided to take a few clients to dinner at the House of Blues Foundation Room on Sunset. Staff was super accommodating even when I asked to add an extra person to my reservation. we were seated on time and the dining area truly had a VIP feel. Food was great but the service was lack luster. One of my guests ordered a glass of wine and it took almost 15 minutes for it to arrive.. The second glass of wine never arrived. I would definitely dine here again.. I'm sure the service was just having an off night.

Ah! Following my first dinner there, I barred myself for writing a review: I wanted to keep that secret for myself! But after the second dinner, I decided that it would be fair for all to mention it: this place is the newest best kept secrets in L.A.; an almost magical place to have dinner at an otherwise very private club. They have succeeded in offering a great dinner, great food, great wine list and remarkable service with the glamour of a private room along with live music for most nights (not all), a lively bar and exotic and unique décor. I’m certainly looking for my next dinner there, assuming they’ll have a table by then. Needless to say too that my date was over the moon from that experience. I took the full credit of course.
