"Cannot beat the view of course. 3 of the 4 courses were wonderful. Unfortunately, the main course was rather disappointing though. Those in our group who had steaks said they were rather tasteless, and tuna was very tough and not properly seared medium rare. In fact, the first time it came, it was brown throughout and tougher than most steaks. The second time, it was rushed, and seared too fast. Our server was rather uptight and unwelcoming, possibly because we had brought children ages 10-14 (it was Easter!) although they were well behaved the whole time, so there is no excuse for this. Additionally, when we made the reservation, we were told there would be a children's menu/pricing, but none was available when we arrived, so beware."

"Went here as a part of my "explore Charlottesville" weekend. Walking into the restaurant for breakfast took our breath away! The ambiance is above par and the food was typical Virginia southern style. We had great service and was able to enjoy what will go down as one of our most memorable breakfasts in Charlottesville. Highly recommended."

"The location was excellent. The food quality was inconsistent. Some items were great ,some were not. They missed one of the items we ordered , our waitress did not come back after we were served to see how things were, and delivery of food was very slow. Another odd thing was the music they played struck us as as odd mix ox of 40's , 50's and 60's. I'd like to see them pick a genre and stick to it to enhance the atmosphere at the restaurant."
