"Food was excellent...but the restuarant (upstairs) was quiet on a Saturday night there were 10 people at 9:00! The entries were about $4-$5 over priced. Appetizers $3-$4 too much. All the resturants were jammed on Boylston St except for Forum. Hope they resolve issue...could be a great place to eat once a week!"

"Best meal I have ever had - beef wellington was fabulous. We went during restaurant week and service was so/so - we had multiple servers which didn't seem to work. We had to ask for bread, we had to ask for our wine, we had to ask for salt and pepper and then they never brought it to the table. When we brought this to our main servers attention, he made it right by offering us free cappaccino and taking a round of our drinks off the bill so I give them credit for good service recovery."

"The food was hit or miss, with too many misses. It was restaurant week, so I expected best-foot-forward especially with the food. The good was good, but the bad was epic fail. Our server Casey was terrific, though other servers were having issues: On the way to the Ladies Rm I spied a server in the 2nd floor entry foyer spinning (really, a pirouette) & saying "chaos, chaos" in a sing-song voice. I'm intrigued by the restaurant enough (b/c of the good parts) to try again. Hopefully it was just "chaos, chaos" and not a representative night for their kitchen"

"We decided to try something different for Restaurant week and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice and didn't make you feel rushed. Our waiter made some great recommendations for the drinks-which were delicious. I got the raviolis while my boyfriend got the salad for an appetizer.Both were very well done. There were just enough raviolis to get a good taste but not too many to ruin your appetite. The salad dressing was fantastic. We had the duck for dinner and paired with the pickled cabbage it was wonderful,especially when you would get the sweet of the apples and the tart of the cabbage. The desserts were really well done, the chocolate cake was not too sweet and the lemon meringue having a great tartness. We had a great time"

"Great choices for the lunch Restaurant Week menu. Food was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient. Had walked by this restaurant a hundred times but had never dined here. Pleasantly surprised by how good the food was!"

"Went here for restaurant week.
We arrived at 5:50 for a 6:00PM dinner reservation. They told us the tables were not setup yet and we could wait at the bar. 10 minutes later we(party of 4) were seated upstairs at the window seat I had requested. The view was nice but somewhat obstructed by the smallish windows. Still a very nice view of Boylston street.
They have a decent beer and great wine selection.
I had ordered the trio of tartar app, my wife ordered the tortellini. Both were excellent.
For the entree we both had Beef Wellington. It is a deconstructed version with all the items separate instead of together, but it was very tasty and I would recommend it.
The wait staff is excellent.

"Service was quite slow, even when there were few people in the restaurant for lunch...the lunch crowd made the room noisy..Staff was polite but appeared to be overworked."
