  • "This was one of the better meals out that I'd had in a very long time. I had my foodie sister in town, so I took a risk and chose to take her somewhere new. It paid off! The service was excellent - at one point, we had the chef serving us food, which showed us that when food is ready to go out, EVERYONE runs food. Must try the kale salad. We were so obsessed with it that we ordered another round to go! "

  • "I am a big Fork fan. I eat here quite often but this is the first time I have tried the brunch. They were mobbed from the time the doors opened so that may have been part of the problem. Ordered homemade donut holes and dipping sauces came after they were consumed. Fried egg sandwiches were served eggs over easy and made for messy eating. One of our party had the blood orange hollandaise on the eggs benedict and said it was the best she's ever eaten. As I said I am a frequent diner at Fork and will likely give brunch another try - but my first impression was it wasn't up to usual standards."

  • "I can't really comment on the food overall as we've done the brunch, which was very good, and the only things we ever get when we come for dinner are the mussels and chorizo dates wrapped in bacon. We LOVE the French style mussels with garlic fries (on par with Hopleaf's for sure) and chorizo dates. The mussels are always clean and the broth is amazing with bacon chunks and garlic. They also make a very good manhattan with a solid selection of whiskey and rye. Just a great place to come for consistently hearty and inexpensive comfort items. We will continue to come here.   • "My wife and I were craving something local and we usually go to Fork for their Farmhouse Burger. This go around we were celebrating my wife's birthday and made it a point to sit at a table instead of the bar. The food was decent for the price, but the service was definitely the highlight of the evening. Our server was timely and efficient, suggestive and not pushy, and remembered my wife's birthday with a cute little banana creme pie with a candle. Food wise the best of the dishes all night was the mushroom flatbread, which still could've used a bit more béchamel sauce. We were not too crazy about the Belgian Mussels, which was a darker brother for a beer broth. And the Chicken Thigh had no pronounced sage or b.nut squash flavor to it."

  • "I chose Fork after attending a function there a few weeks back. I was looking for decent food and nice atmosphere for my friends from out of town. Food was great, but we were sad to be served by a waiter who thought his sarcasm was funny. One of my friends had never been someplace that serves flights. Not once did the waiter explain that a flight was an option, and my friend was sad because she would have liked to have those. She did ask "would you please explain what Chartecurie is and how it works" and the guy said to us "no". He did explain it, but not very clearly, and didn't really want to sell it. Great menu, they would have sold a lot more alcohol if their server was willing to explain the menu and actual be of service."

  • "Everything we ordered was good and the pace was perfect. Beer selection for the cheese and meat flights was integrated and interesting. We enjoyed a flight of 3 blue cheeses. The tray could have included more fruit; some thinly sliced apples and berries were provided but more would have been appreciated to cleanse the palette. The mushroom soup and Kale salad had ample portions and were both delicious. We would go back."

  • "We were a group of six people for brunch, celebrating a family birthday. Two of us ordered the chilaquiles, which were stellar. The salsa on the tortilla chips went well with the eggs, cheese, and sour cream. One of us added chorizo, which was also delicious. The mac and cheese arrived hot and bubbly, and the bacon was very crispy. The house-smoked brisket was tender and flavorful. Some of us felt the sauce was a little sweet, but the rest thought it was just right. The bloody Marys were spicy and delicious. We waited quite a while to place our food orders, but the place was busy and, to be fair, we were having a good time talking and watching the birthday girl open her gift. We could have used more coffee-cup refills. Good family place."

  • "This is my second time at Fork. Each time we had a group of 6-8 people. I love that with a group this size, we can sit in a rounded booth which enables us to talk to everyone. The menu is mostly small and large plates to share. I enjoy the sharing - it makes for a very reasonably priced dinner and you get to try a lot of dishes. Everything I've eaten here is excellent, including the desserts!"

  • "What a great place, great ambiance, food and amazing service. My wife asked the difference between Spanish Chorizo and Mexican, and they brought her a free plate to try. It was my birthday and they brought complimentary Champagne for the table. Without these add-ons it would have still been great. With them it was a very memorable occasion."

  • "I stopped by Fork with a friend, who is a vegan. The menu is extensive, and includes ingredients that make it hard for a foodie to choose what to order. I ordered the Scottish Salmon, and was truly thrilled that it was done perfectly - not under or over cooked, which rarely happens in my experience. The beet salad I shared with my friend was mouth-watering. I am looking forward to coming back here to try something different!"

  • "My partner and I decided to both try to Salmon special. It quickly arrived at our table and we proceeded to enjoy a really amazing meal. The Salmon was perfectly cooked to medium rare as ordered. It was accompanied by delicious purple heirloom carrots that had a very flavorful glaze, a tasty bean puree under the salmon and two breaded Meyer Lemon rings. The lemons were delicious! I wish they were in season year round so I could suggest these appear on the menu all the time! i don't know how long this special is available but it is worth making a special trip to Fork to try it! Our server, Nico, was friendly and attentive as always! Dave"

  • "Went out on Valenitnes Day for th first time together in 24 years. The four course dinner was probably a pretty good indication of what the restaurant can do. It was "family style" so we shared 2 apps, 2 fish, 2 entrees and 3 different chocolates for dessert. I like everything except for oysters, mussels, bananas, and white chocolate. All but mussels were represented in the menu. All of my most despised foods were very well executed. The oysters were small and excellent, Scallop banana mousse in an underseasoned sole turban was fine, White chocolate mini shake was excellent. The wine pairings were outstanding and THANK YOU no California wines. I will defineately go back for the regular menu and take their advise for beer and wine pairings!"

We had 6:00 reservations and were running 20 minutes late on Valentines Day weekend and they kept the seat waiting for us, thank goodness. Good food, great beer selection, great part of town."

  • "My husband and I recently had dinner at Fork with a group of 6, and we had a pretty good experience overall. The service was very relaxed, not at all obtrusive, and the server was extremely knowledgeable. The food was excellent, although we were all a little surprised by the small-ish portion sizes. This ended up being fine because we sampled a number of snacks and cheeses (very much appreciated the pasteurized cheeses being indicated as we had two pregnant women in our party), and we still had room for dessert after our entrees. I'd go back again."

Our original choice (which is not as nice, but if sort of fun in a funky way, and blocks closer) was booked and Fork must have had a cancellation. The Pre Fixe menu was delightful and the beer paring was great."

  • "Fork is one of my favorite little gems in the city. Romantic decor/atmosphere, back room is warm and cozy. I always discover delicious specials and new favorites when I visit Fork. Valentine's it was packed, were seated right away. Service was a little slow, as expected, however very attentive and pleasant. Few meals were slightly too salty. Overall great pre-fix menu, large tasting portions and definitely a foodie heaven!"

  • "Went to fork on Valentine's day and had they're 4 course pre fix menu, which was the only option that night, regular or be vegetarian. It was very good two diff plates for v each course for u and ur date to split. It was a great idea and have allot of extra discussion to thenight not that it was necessary. The only complaint was the server and waits both described the dishes add they came out and being 8 different dishes got a lil annoying yet kinds funny"

  • "This place is great! The food is always good and the have an amazing wine and cheese list. Yes, they have an entire page just for cheese! We always get the buratta spread appetizer and I highly recommend it. Otherwise, get anything and I'm sure it will be good. The specialty cocktails are great too. They have a few variations of an old fashioned that I enjoy."
