The I had the walleye and my wife had beef wellington. Both were excellent. The service was great. The manager greeted us with a "happy anniversary," and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was very relaxed and quiet. Diners are seated in the various rooms of the Victorian era mansion so there is more of an intimate, private feeling to the place, perfect for a romantic evenint. We were intrigued by the Victorian era house and asked if we could have a tour. The manager took the time to show us the entire house from third floor to the wine cellar. Problem was that there was no way to gain the attention of any staff since they did not stay in that one room. My date and I really loved everything we had. Our server was quite attentive. The only downsides are the price (easily $100+/person after drinks) and our server did not seem to know very much about the wine that was available. The restored mansion is beautidul. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Menu was ambitious,if a little too ambitious. Squash soup too hot, my wife burned throat. Duck was good but too many surrounding flavors that competed rather than complemented the entree.

We will be back for Sunday brunch outdoors. The food is of the highest quality and the service and ambiance are equal to it.
