  • "Was here for a group dinner and the food was A-Ok. pizza wasnt anything special and actually dissapointing. It wasnt hot and almost room temp. Not impressed. But if anything - order the montana and the margarita. Otherwise i would skip along and try somewhere else. We're in NYC- king of pizza...this one jst didnt make the cut."

  • "Forcella's pizza is acceptable, nothing more. No reason to dine here, no reason to stay away. Indifferent."

  • "Amazing pizza, odd space, very nice maître d, lousy server - about 25 minutes after seating before server came to take 1st drink order, then when he returned to take additional drink orders, he would take an order and run instead of asking others at the table if anyone else needed a drink. The busboy was more attentive.."

  • "I have been going to Forcella since it first opened in Williamsburg. I've dined at all three locations, and I think they all rock. But the Park Avenue one has become my favorite. I always have a great experience there. The food, wine and service are excellent. You've got to try the need sliders, the burrata with balsamic glaze and the margarita extra pizza!"

  • "We looked for a restaurant near theater Repertorio Español and we found this nice restaurant. We reserved in advance a table for six. Igor, our main waiter, welcomed us and took us to a nice table in the upstairs room. The decor is Italian. We chose a Nero d'Avola red wine which paired very well our dinner. The entrees were regular individual pizza margherita, grilled salmon, broiled scallops and spaguetti with fruta di mare. All of these were nicely prepared and everyone loved their entree. Water glasses were served regularly. initially the atmosphere was quiet but became louder as a group of younger people that sat next to us. Great food for a moderate price and very good service. I will go back again."

  • "I went there for a birthday dinner with friends. The food was good and the service was attentive (almost too much). At times, it seemed a bit intrusive but overall a good experience."

  • "Attentive staff. Delicious, authentic Italian food. There ended up being 2 large, loud parties on either side of our table. It got VERY noisy. The staff and management became aware and took care of us. These are the kind of people who will be in business for a long time to come. We will definitely return."

  • "We had a great time at forcella yesterday. Let me start by saying pizza was off the hook. the crust is exactly like in naples. wood burning, thin crust, DELICIOUS. the appetizer of pear and arugula salad was alos really good and you could tell it was realy fresh. Wine list has good choice of Italian and world classics. Our server was very charming and personable young Italian fellow, who took good care to check on us often yet not too intrusively. We could see form our table that the bar schene is lively, as it seemed a group of young people was having a (bit loud) good time at the slick bar. The decor is over-the-top fifth ave , for those who like such a thing, great find open till late."

  • "When you come to Forcella you are greeted by a friendly staff who is taking care of you all the way through. They are very attentive even when busy and the food is delicious. Pizza is incredibly thin and crusty, steaks are perfect as well as are gnocchi and various pastas. The beautiful decor of grey and red complimented by gorgeous glass lamps creates a lavish atmosphere that merges this restaurant with a lounge-type place. This place has a second floor so you can choose whether you want to be seated in a more romantic and secluded space upstairs or on the lovely first floor that is at the center of this lively place. I enjoyed my dinner with a friend and I am sure that I will come back for more with my partner as well as with my friends."

  • "I have to say that for all the good reviews, I found the pizza pretty unimaginative and the pasta overly drenched in sauces. Both in this neighborhood and beyond, there's better Italian to be had out there..."

  • "Loved the arugula salad with pears and honey. The pizza was thin, and tasted as authentic Naples as anything I have had. You will love the food."

  • "I went to Forcella for dinner and I had the best time ever. The food is to die for. Octopus is amazing. Guys you should try it.!!! service was amazing. The waiter is so friendly and helpful. I asked him millions of questions and he answered them all. He knew everything about the food they serve. Guys you should go there. You won't regret. Good luck to you Forcella."

  • "I came at Forcella with my friends for a quick lunch. We had a pizzas and their amazing octopus and caprese Forcella as an appetizers. Their selection of wine by the glass is pretty good. Service was great without annoying questions that they usually ask you in the restaurant. Food was fresh in a noticeable portions. I plan to be a regular here. It works for me!"

  • "Would not recommend--atmosphere was dismal and food less-than stellar. There are certainly MUCH better places to go in the neighborhood. Save yourself some time and $$--go across the street to Hillstone or down the block to I Truli."

  • "The waiter staff is aloof. The salad came together with dinner and when we acted surprised the waiter said with visible annoyance that if we wanted the salad first we should have said so when we placed the order. In general I don't send food back but I was so annoyed already by the total lack of graciousness throughout the evening that I sent the salad back. The pizza was good but not good enough to compensate for the bad service."

  • "Pasta/pizza good with exception of 1 cold calzone. Service off/ wet wine glasses for expensive bottle of wine/ clean plates cleared leaving us with NO plates when food came..... It was good but don't need to return. Too many other places to try."

  • "The food here is soooooo good. Came here for lunch and was told the Kobe burger are to die for so I had to try. They are huge and so flavorful. A little bit salty at first, but when you take a bite with the mozzarella, it is perfect! The portion was so large it was enough for 2 meals. And they have the best dessert! Great service as well."

  • "This is good quality food, but a bit like Kathryn Heigl: nice, but nothing special about it. The pizzas shouldn't be called that at all. They are more like a salad with cheese on a pita, or a poori or roti or flatbread. Very good and healthy. (My $20 truffle had a big bowl's worth of rocket or arugula or some other green covering it so that it was difficult to eat without spilling.) if you're looking for pizza, however, the surprise might not be desirable. If the place perhaps was marketed for this rather different feature, it might give me a Jamba Juice or pink berry kind of uniqueness, but it left me with nothing to be excited about."

  • "went to this restaurant that was 1,000 pts. Went in and wait staff informed us that a manager was not on duty so she would not be able to have enough menus for our party of 5. She only had one and couldn't print anymore. Then we couldn't order mixed drinks that were mentioned on menu because there was no bartender on duty. Finally went to order an egg dish on the menu, but was told we couldn't order that either. We left. Total mad vibe. I hope it was just a bad day for them."

  • "I was one of ten women who came into NYC to shop for the day. I am very glad we chose to eat at Forcella for lunch. The staff was wonderful and the food was very good and reasonable. We ordered personal pizzas and paninis. I would definitly come back."

  • "We were reminded of the pizza we had at Da Michele in Naples, it was like a trip back to Italy. Margherita Extra Pizza & Caesar Salad followed by Tiramisu & Expresso. Everything was topnotch. We will be back."

  • "We had a great time there on my wife's birthday. The food was at a very high level and well prepared too. Interesting mix of Italian and American plates, and they also had a hamburger for my daughter. The have very decent wine list . Extensive Italian and Californian list. Also some creative cocktails and extensive choices of after dinner drinks. If there were a category for after dinner drinks and cocktails, I would give them 5 stars. On this occasion the noise level was moderate, but it can get pretty loud there."

  • "Pizza is great- although the Bowery location nailed it. Park Ave. needs to crisp it up a little a serve it hotter. Atmosphere is pleasant downstairs. Upstairs feels neglected."

  • "Forcella is understaffed and the few servers they have are lost -- I do not think they have more than five hours of training among them. We had hamburgers on a lunch break last week and the food was fine -- but had to ask for ketchup four times. Gave me the bill for another table (of 6 people); misdelivered a meal to me; you cann't get their attention unless you cartwheel."

  • "This was our second visit to Forcella the first being the Bowery location. As we come from out of town, this was one pizza that we couldn't forget, and now we will never forget the Caprese salad which is a meal in itself - definitely share with someone else...the mozzarella is amazing."

  • "Lots of attention is paid to you as well as all the details. Great menu...you can come here with the guys for pizza or bring an old friend for pasta and catch up on old times. The wait staff is very attentive. The main courses were tasty. Great desserts and wine list. great place for a really great time!"

  • "The pizza has got to be one of the best I've had in the city. Topped with fresh meat and vegetables and served piping hot with a warm but not hard crust, each bite was as healthy and yummy as the previous. The drink selection was good, not extensive but suffice to balance off a hearty dinner."

  • "The atmosphere, staff and service overall were lovely and we hope the food will improve as time goes on. Our party of 3 started with Kobe Beef Sliders served on flatbread which was awesome! At 3 to an order, it was a perfectly delicious appetizer - way better than ordinary sliders. We also shared a pasta bolognese which was deliciously creamy with big chunks of meat. The Marguerita Pizza, however, was a huge disappointment. What should be their signature pizza was mushy and undercooked. If in the neighborhood, I would possibly return, but I'd request that the flatbread be thoroughly cooked and much more crispy!!"

  • "Had a great dinner here the other night. Fantastic Neapolitan pies with an elegant twist. We had the "Truffle" pie and Prosciutto Arugula Burrata pie which were both creamy savory goodness at it's finest. Professional service and late hours are an added bonus to this Park Avenue gem. Highly recommended if you're in the hood."

  • "This is a fabulous spot for pizza and homemade pasta - especially if you like grooving to cool tunes while you eat. They have a very nice wine list and the prices are reasonable. I would definitely go back - especially when my pizza loving sister is in town. They are open 24/7 so it's a good late night find if you are craving something yummy after a night of partying with friends."

  • "Known for their pizza in the wonderful Booklyn and LES locations, Forcella on Park delivers the same great pizza and wine selections, but the location's attempt at an upscale, Naples-club decor made me wish for the other locations. Silver paper menus, high-gloss/blood-red textured walls, vinyl wall graphics, chandeliers, red spotlights and text printed onto the walls a cozy atmosphere does not make."
