"My husband and I went there for the first time and had a wonderful dinner. This is obviously a steak place but since we don't eat beef we found there were enough great options for us from appetizers to the entrees! Excellent wine list. Overall, it was a great start to the weekend!"

"Forbes Mill sent an email inviting me back for my special occasion, as I've celebrated a couple birthdays there. We made the reservation on opentable, noting that it was my birthday celebration. There was no mention of my birthday or the special birthday writing on my dessert, which my kids and I always enjoy. The food was decent overall, except my grass fed filet wasn't as good as other filets I've had at FM. I love their pear salad with nuts and cheese, and the calamari is always a family favorite (although serving sizes are much smaller than in years past). Our server did the job but wasn't very engaged, and looked like she was under the weather."

"lovely time we had at Forbes - we were offered a private room for our party of six, since it wasn't reserved - very nice with a long table and fireplace. Food was great - beef and seafood - everyone had a steak and the side dishes are served family style. I like beef, but thought the prices were really high for the type of meal we ate. We had lovely desserts and an excellent waiter. Overall, a great experience, but be prepared to pay..."

"We hadn't been to Forbes Mill for a while because in the past we found the food and service to be good, not great.. So, we were pleasantly surprised this time. Our steaks were cooked as we requested, to perfection. Side dishes, wedge salad and desserts were delicious as well. Our server was very attentive. We will definitely not wait as long to go back to Forbes Mill. We had a great experience."

"THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD, BUT OVERPRICED. OUR SERVER WAS GOOD,BUT OUR WATER GLASSES WERE NOT KEPT FULL UNTIL WE HAD ASKED FOR MORE. SEATING WAS SO TIGHT THAT MY HUSBAND WAS BUMPED INTO SEVERAL TIMES BY STAFF MEMBERS (WHO DID APOLOGIZE AFTER). ALSO THE NOISE LEVEL WAS HIGH THAT IT WAS HARD TO HEAR WHAT SOMEONE AT OUR TABLE WAS SAYING (WE HAD 6 PEOPLE IN OUR GROUP)."

"We have never had a bad meal at Forbes Mill and we was not disappointed this time around. Their April Fixed Price special was an outstanding mix of beef filet, halibut and lamb which I would highly recommend. My wife's beef oscar was a pleasant surprise for her. And the desserts....to die for."
