Wanted to celebrate a work colleagues anniversary along with her husband. Many great restaurants to chose in Bethesda, but always enjoy Food & Wine Co. They went once before but unfortunately had to leave so it made it special. The service is always great as was tonight. Also, the food is fantastic. Everyone enjoyed appetizers and meals. My mussels were fantastic as always along with the Brussels spouts. Yum! Will come back again and again! My guest also complimented on the décor and fun atmosphere.

We've dined @ Food & Wine Co. numerous times in the past 3-4 years and consistently had a phenomenal experience! The menu always offers new things to try & something for all and the food is exquisite from presentation to freshness! We've dined just us, with our kids when they're home, extended family & friends. Their customer service, truly building from multi-communities (locals, business travelers, DC & MD residents, ...), is genuine!

We had looked at a listing online..said Food, Wine and Co opened at 4 on Sunday..made reservation for 6..We went from another event and got there before they opened...at 4:30. The maitre d' and staff were so gracious...nothing was a problem. Had Prosecco which I love..good food, unusual combinations and flavor. George had potato tots ...great...rockfish good. I had a beet salad with goat cheese .....yummy, then flat iron steak salad. Very nice evening.

I had been to Food, Wine and Co a few times shortly after it opened and always enjoyed it, but wasn't necessariy wowed. We went again this weekend with friends from our of town and it was fantastic. Our entire group was raving about the food. It seems like the food has been stepped up a notch. The starters in particular were great. If they have the gnocchi and short rib special when you go, order it! The service was good too. After our most recent experience this will now be a go-to spot for me and my husband.

I really like the look of the place. It is a beautiful restaurant, elegant and at the same time comfortable. The food was very good and very attractively presented. We had a lovely waiter and I always like the management to ask whether everything was all right and they did. Price-wise I think it is right in there with the moderate to expensive range. Roundabout Theater is within walking distance as are the movies. There should be more restaurants like it on Wisconsin.

I took a friend of mine there to celebrate her birthday, and it was a let-down. I ordered the chocolate bread pudding for myself when we ordered our entrees, as the restaurant asks patrons to do because the bread pudding takes a long time to prepare. After our meal, the waiter reported that my bread pudding would take about 10 to 15 minutes longer. I asked for a dessert menu so that my friend could also order a dessert. I had indicated several times that we were celebrating my friend's birthday. My friend ordered dessert, and it was delivered to our table within about 5 minutes, with no candle and without my pudding. When my pudding arrived about 10 minutes later, after my friend was finished with her dessert, it had a candle in it.

This was my first time at Food Wine and Co. I found the hostess that sat me not too friendly and businesslike and the server preoccupied with something else (could not figure out what). The food was good. Beet salad, and fried chicken sandwich. Both were good. Beet salad is a small portion but tasty. This is a good lunch spot but would like the staff to be friendlier and at least appear to be happy I am spending my money there.

I had a lunch meeting at Food, Wine, and Co this week; while the service was fine, I was a little disappointed at the new lunch menu. I thought the selections were a bit limited and I was very surprised at the prices. The prices seemed overly inflated, I will likely select other locations for future lunches.

This is the second time I have dined at Food Wine & Co. The menu attempts to be ambitious, and the kitchen puts their own "twist" certain classic dishes. The Croque Monsieur is one. I actually had to ask the food server what he was giving me as I had never seen a Croque Monsieur served open-faced before, and didn't taste like one either. Fries were cold. The server "didn't hear" my friend order the Ciabatta special of the day with soup, so she only got soup, until we finally asked where her sandwich was. When we got the check, he had charged for the soup and Ciabatta separately. He corrected it when we pointed it out, but that shouldn't have been necessary. Very disappointing overall.

I've been to Food and Wine a number of times and can't get past the 30 minute chicken! It's so juicy and flavorable, that I just keep ordering it over and over again. I also recommend the oysters and the grilled calamari. The restaurant has a vibrant bar scene and on date nites, it would be best to have a reservations as it gets crowded. Also, ask to sit in the wine room at the back of the restaurant, it's quieter and beautiful.

Chef gets too creative with food. Sometimes it's nice to just have regular French fries. Tried thier 'tot'. Was looking for a potato dish. They're stuffed with cheese and extremely salty. Soup had a great base to it, but then he threw in too many flavors.. Coconut, ginger, and two other things. All flavors over rode each other and didn't come well together. Creative to the point of too much. I don't care for thier food.

This place was great, food nice, service etc impeccable but I was a single person eating lunch and rather than putting me in an unobtrusive corner I was placed in the middle of an screaming loud room full of lunching lawyers. When I asked to move I was refused until I asked for the manager, who resolved the issue.

We consider ourselves foodies, having eaten at top resturants globally. We've been here twice now, as we've recently relocated to the neighborhood. The food and wine are nice, but each time our servers have been very arrogant. We dine with our 6yo who has eaten in some of the nicest resturants in the world, so is well behaved and likes to eat everything. With that, we are trying to figure out if the servers are arrogant because of a child dining with us or this is just the culture of the Resturant? Regardless...the food it's good enough to make up for the service attitude.

I had saw the outside signs of the restaurant as I had driven by. I had gone to this location when it was a pizza restaurant some years ago. We arrived a few minutes early. We were immediately seated. Our server came right away. We were welcomed and she asked for our drink order as well as lite food orders. We were offered water as well. We gave our orders. Everything arrived in a timely manner. We ordered Artic Char as our main entrée. My fish was prepared as I had ordered, my wife's was a little under-cooked. They immediately corrected the error. Overall a very good experience. We will probably dine here again.

From the moment we walked in the restaurant to the end of the meal and the surprise birthday dessert - it was fantastic. The restaurant called me to ask about the birthday and the name, so we had birthday menus. The hostess was so welcoming, took out picture and we received a photo in a card for the birthday. I am taking all of special birthday friends there in the future. Then the food, it was wonderful every mouthful and really generous portions. We actually split the entree. Really fantastic evening!

Which is why we tried it. Our server understood that we had tix and moved our order along efficiently -- a steak salad, raw oysters, an interesting potato and cheese tots appetizer, a lovely colifluer (sp?) side dish -- those are what I recall. We were three people. Wine list was a bit pricey but there were lots of options. We shared a California Pinot noir. Decor was antiseptic but overall a very positive experience. We likely will do it again.

The woman who served us did an outstanding job. In addition to a fine wine list, the restaurant has an extensive collection of beers, many of them on tap. The woman knew her beers and guided me to one that I particularly liked. At the end of the meal, she brought me a seasonal pumpkin beer to sample. Also the wait staff work very well together. I told the man busing our table that my wife would like another glass of wine and in just a few moments the woman working our table brought it.

Not a fancy place, but nicer than many. Not a menu that pushes the envelope, but always a few dishes that are well thought out and better than expected. Efficient, friendly service. A wine list that is one of the best in challenging Montgomery County, and fairly priced, just like the food. All in, a very pleasant restaurant that continues to exceed expectations.

This was our first visit to Food Wine & Co. For our taste, the menu had far too much fish/seafood. The prices were high, and side dishes were extra on top of that. But without the sides the entrée portions were on the small side. They were well presented. The desserts were v. good, but limited choice. Our server was excellent. The wine list is huge - maybe much more so that is necessary. It's a very noisy environment because of the high ceilings and solid floors, so it was difficult to have a normal conversation with our friends. Not sure if we'd visit this restaurant on a regular basis - because of the prices it's more of a special occasion venue.
