Went for birthday dinner for son. My chicken salad was very salty, my husband did not love his burger, son did like his pork chops. We had mentioned it was a birthday when we made our open table reservation, but they forgot Asked server for candle in dessert, again, forgotten. Talked to nice manager, but didn't offer any aoologies, really. The best part for me was tasting son's rum cake... it was so good! I left hungry, however.

I came here on a Saturday night with my husband. it was not as good as i had remembered from 3 months ago. Things that left me unsatisfied were: 1)i couldn't order a wine from the by the glass listed even when i was told that they have it but would only sell it by the bottle. why list it on the by the glass then? 2)the bone-in porkchop was presliced for you which made it dry and not so bone-in. doesn't make sense to me unless you are trying to hide the fact that it's a smaller piece of pork. 3)the fact that our food came out after those who sat down and ordered after us was not lost on me. Things that were positive: 1) the clam linguini was still the best I've ever tasted 2) cool silverware

This was my fourth visit to Food and Wine Co. and I was somewhat disappointed. While two salads and a soup were all quite good, the main dish, the mushroom pizza, was not up to par. Not only was the crust somewhat limp, but it was also rather tasteless. On top of that, the service, usually spot on, was definitely lacking. It will be a while before I return to give this restaurant another try.

Wanted to celebrate a work colleagues anniversary along with her husband. Many great restaurants to chose in Bethesda, but always enjoy Food & Wine Co. They went once before but unfortunately had to leave so it made it special. The service is always great as was tonight. Also, the food is fantastic. Everyone enjoyed appetizers and meals. My mussels were fantastic as always along with the Brussels spouts. Yum! Will come back again and again! My guest also complimented on the décor and fun atmosphere.

We've dined @ Food & Wine Co. numerous times in the past 3-4 years and consistently had a phenomenal experience! The menu always offers new things to try & something for all and the food is exquisite from presentation to freshness! We've dined just us, with our kids when they're home, extended family & friends. Their customer service, truly building from multi-communities (locals, business travelers, DC & MD residents, ...), is genuine!

We had looked at a listing online..said Food, Wine and Co opened at 4 on Sunday..made reservation for 6..We went from another event and got there before they opened...at 4:30. The maitre d' and staff were so gracious...nothing was a problem. Had Prosecco which I love..good food, unusual combinations and flavor. George had potato tots ...great...rockfish good. I had a beet salad with goat cheese .....yummy, then flat iron steak salad. Very nice evening.

I had been to Food, Wine and Co a few times shortly after it opened and always enjoyed it, but wasn't necessariy wowed. We went again this weekend with friends from our of town and it was fantastic. Our entire group was raving about the food. It seems like the food has been stepped up a notch. The starters in particular were great. If they have the gnocchi and short rib special when you go, order it! The service was good too. After our most recent experience this will now be a go-to spot for me and my husband.

I really like the look of the place. It is a beautiful restaurant, elegant and at the same time comfortable. The food was very good and very attractively presented. We had a lovely waiter and I always like the management to ask whether everything was all right and they did. Price-wise I think it is right in there with the moderate to expensive range. Roundabout Theater is within walking distance as are the movies. There should be more restaurants like it on Wisconsin.

I took a friend of mine there to celebrate her birthday, and it was a let-down. I ordered the chocolate bread pudding for myself when we ordered our entrees, as the restaurant asks patrons to do because the bread pudding takes a long time to prepare. After our meal, the waiter reported that my bread pudding would take about 10 to 15 minutes longer. I asked for a dessert menu so that my friend could also order a dessert. I had indicated several times that we were celebrating my friend's birthday. My friend ordered dessert, and it was delivered to our table within about 5 minutes, with no candle and without my pudding. When my pudding arrived about 10 minutes later, after my friend was finished with her dessert, it had a candle in it.

This was my first time at Food Wine and Co. I found the hostess that sat me not too friendly and businesslike and the server preoccupied with something else (could not figure out what). The food was good. Beet salad, and fried chicken sandwich. Both were good. Beet salad is a small portion but tasty. This is a good lunch spot but would like the staff to be friendlier and at least appear to be happy I am spending my money there.

I had a lunch meeting at Food, Wine, and Co this week; while the service was fine, I was a little disappointed at the new lunch menu. I thought the selections were a bit limited and I was very surprised at the prices. The prices seemed overly inflated, I will likely select other locations for future lunches.

This is the second time I have dined at Food Wine & Co. The menu attempts to be ambitious, and the kitchen puts their own "twist" certain classic dishes. The Croque Monsieur is one. I actually had to ask the food server what he was giving me as I had never seen a Croque Monsieur served open-faced before, and didn't taste like one either. Fries were cold. The server "didn't hear" my friend order the Ciabatta special of the day with soup, so she only got soup, until we finally asked where her sandwich was. When we got the check, he had charged for the soup and Ciabatta separately. He corrected it when we pointed it out, but that shouldn't have been necessary. Very disappointing overall.

I've been to Food and Wine a number of times and can't get past the 30 minute chicken! It's so juicy and flavorable, that I just keep ordering it over and over again. I also recommend the oysters and the grilled calamari. The restaurant has a vibrant bar scene and on date nites, it would be best to have a reservations as it gets crowded. Also, ask to sit in the wine room at the back of the restaurant, it's quieter and beautiful.

Chef gets too creative with food. Sometimes it's nice to just have regular French fries. Tried thier 'tot'. Was looking for a potato dish. They're stuffed with cheese and extremely salty. Soup had a great base to it, but then he threw in too many flavors.. Coconut, ginger, and two other things. All flavors over rode each other and didn't come well together. Creative to the point of too much. I don't care for thier food.
