The Details We can provide you with linens, beautiful napkin colors, fresh flowers, balloons, party favors or host gifts. We have an on-site bakery where we produce luscious desserts, cakes, cupcakes, cookies and morning baked goods each day, using premium ingredients like real butter, vanilla, bittersweet chocolate, freshly roasted nuts and heavy cream.

"We eat at Food Dance on special occasions and we are confident everything will be good. It is not a budget restaurant, but it is well worth saving up a a little for special times. Their dishes are unique takes on whatever each item. The foods are satisfying and the servings are generous without the "overkill" sizes so often found in some restaurants. We will go again as soon as we think up an excuse."

"Went to Food Dance on a date nite with my wife. It was a Sat. night and the place was packed. Food was wonderful, but the atmosphere was more hustle and bustle and not romantic."

"I LOVE Food Dance. I have frequented this restaurant for years - when they were in their old location - and now that they are in the (relatively) new building. It is a fabulous place - the food, drinks and DESSERTS are always TO DIE FOR!!! Always my restaurant of choice when visiting Kalamazoo!!!"

"If only I were a food critic, perhaps my words would be seen nationwide. Anyone who visits Kalamazoo and has time to eat should stop at Food Dance. Great place to dine, wonderful food, and the waitstaff was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. FIVE STARS!!"

"I *really* enjoyed dining at this gem of a restaurant with my wife and two kids. We traveled from 100 miles away, ate here, and attended a concert by comedian Mike Birbiglia. My kids are teenagers. They were unhappy about a long trip.

Eating here was brilliant. We had decent conversation, which definitely passes muster with teenagers. We left happy--the kind manager provided a bag of delicious cookies for our trip back. (This is *so* thoughtful.)

I distinctly remember the kids laughing as we left. In the 30 minutes before the concert, they were uncommonly happy. It warmed my heart. The food is delicious--my finicky son ate most of his meal. The ambiance is outstanding: beautiful design, delicious artwork, and train depot."

"We visited Food Dance on Valentines Day. The special menu food was delicious but the portions, especially the Citrus Salad were rather small. The main course we had was a glazed tofu pad thai with spaghetti squash as the noodles. Quite unique and very tasty. As always the service was excellent. Our server was very helpful and friendly. My wife had Cat's Meow, her favorite, for dessert and I had the Cherry Crisp. THeir desserts are always amazing!!"

"Lovely Valentine's Day meal. Crab Cake appetizer was delicious, especially with the locally grown watercress garnish. Salmon entree was superb. Would lose the rice cake though and substitute polenta, but the rest of the meal was brilliant. Heart-shaped shortbread cookies were lovely touch at the end."
