Fontana Grill at The Abbey ResortDelicious food and warm ambianceOn Saturday night you have a choice of ordering from the menu or partaking in the large buffet. Our group did both. The buffet has a selection of warm or cold crab legs with drawn butter (I started with this), succulent prime rib with au jus sauce, a large and fresh salad bar, a baked potato bar with fun toppings and an assortment of other main and side dishes. The dessert table gives you the opportunity to try different pies (chocolate peanut butter pie was to die for) and cakes and other goodies. The wine list is a good size with a nice selection. There is a live piano player who is very talented. There were a few kids there, so he even played a few songs from kids movies (which adults love, too). We were seated at a cozy table by the fireplace which was just perfect! Our server was very attentive and very friendly. My husband's steak was cooked to perfection and he enjoyed every bite! I ordered the frenched chicken breast and it was worth the wait, it was juicy, tender and delicious! The gentleman playing the piano added a nice touch to the ambiance as well.
