Diner Reviews
  • "Our Son chose this restaurant to celebrate his 43rd birthday. While I do not eat a lot of meat, he seemed to enjoy it. The salad bar was average. Even though this is a steakhouse, I was surprised that it did not offer any type of seafood dish. The décor was o.k. and the service was good. Everyone was friendly. It is not for everyone and I won't be going back."

  • "Took my family here the other night. Wait staff was friendly. Its a flat rate of $29.95 per person. This does not include drinks. Overall the food was good and the meats were OK. After drinks and desert it amounted to around $40 per plate. I'll be back but maybe on a special occasion."

  • "I have to say I was a little disappointed by the Brazillian Bull. While some items were good other lacked flavor and quality. The salad bar was a joke the dressings tasted like Kraft out of a bottle. Most of the meats were over cooks or too salty. The thinks I did like we're the ham, and the cheese rolls those were good. Service was good and the people were friendly. However, for $30 it was not worth it at all"

  • "This is absolutely our favorite Restaraunt in the Phoenix valley... It's a great place for any occasion... I would recommend this to anyone...."

  • "If you crave cuts f beef and assorted meats served with ambiance and flair you would be better off going to Burger King and getting a Whopper. The service was fine and the drinks OK and the salad bar OK. But the meats were over-seasoned and over cooked. I asked why and they said they would bring less seasoned and less well done. But by then we were put off our feed and pretty much done. Hearing the game show on TV coming from the bar was not a plus either."

  • "Had an enjoyable dinner for two adults and two children. The food, service and selection are good. The Top Sirloin and pineapple were the favorites. While there was no shortage of pineapple, the sirloin was slow to start then picked up towards the end of the meal. I feel that the experience was a good deal for the price and will eat there again."

  • "Understanding this may have been because it was a Tuesday evening at 8pm? The meat was overcooked, like it had been reheated from earlier in the day, possibly the day before. Most, if not all of the portions like the bacon wrapped beef and chicken was shriveled up/overcooked. This was my first time at this restaurant but I have been to Fogo de Chao and Texas de Brazil several times in other states. This was a first date and was enjoying good conversation during the date, unfortunately the staff was anxious to go home and started turning off the lights (as a signal) 30 min before closing time so we ended our conversation and departed. I will stick with Fogo de Chao even though their prices are a little higher and further away."

  • "The meat was dry. And you cant throw in softdrinks on a $30 meal? Desert was extra. The price was too high for the value."

  • "My brother had been here once before and recommended it to us. Our first time was a great experience. Loved the choices on the Salad bar and the meats were really great. The pineapple and creme' brulee was fantastic. The waiters were very friendly and our drinks kept getting filled before we ran out. We went at noon and there was hardly anyone there and I liked it because we were able to sit, eat and visit and weren't rushed. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, especially those looking for a first time place to go. Will definitely go again."

  • "We chose to try Brazilian Bull for our 25th Anniversary dinner. It was good but not really memorable for the occasion. I found to buffet choices to be limited. The meat choices were good but not really as tasty as I had expected. We were not offered two of the choices but did not really miss them. I chose the flan for dessert and it was amazing. The best parts of my meal were the grilled pineapple, the fried bananas and the flan none of which were deciding factors for choosing the restaurant."

  • "We had reservations for a large party to celebrate a family birthday and wanted someting unique with a great dining experience and we got it! The food selection was excellent as was the taste! We controlled the dining experience and informed the chefs when we wanted more. Being served in courses added to the ambiance and expereince. Our whole party enjoyed it. (Note: Bottled waters on tables are not free! It would be good to know that is not included as in many upscale restaurants, that is the norm)."

  • "I have dined here about 6 times over the last 5 years. Each time it gets worse and worse. Service stinks, wait staff cannot speak English, and they are losing money by not paying attention and providing drink/bar service to their customers. And the food taste and quality is pretty good, but they control the meats you get by slow-rolling the customer. I never got any chicken livers or hearts, roast lamb, and I got one tiny piece of well done tri-tip, and I also never got any garlic steak."

  • "Honestly just Stay at Home and save your money. You are so close to other tables you might as well all be dining together. The server was absolutely horrendous and the food was decent but not quality cuts of meat or anything and in my opinion over seasoned for Brazilian. My family and I used to be regulars at multiple restraunts with the same menu and concept but will never return to this place."

  • "Our second time visiting. Took newbies so they could try something new. Only complaint was service. Had to take drinks to waitress at bar for refills. My father wanted more of the pineapple and they bring him a plate with the core of the pineapple..... We've been to the one in Scottsdale spend the extra money per person much better experience."

  • "The waiters who came around serving the meats were great, but otherwise the service was terrible. The waitress could never be found, and was not very accommodating when she did decide to stop by. The drinks were awful. It felt more like a fast food restaurant than fine dining. Too many tables crammed too close together with a lovely view of the parking lot. No thanks. The food itself was pretty good, but the overall experience was very disappointing. "

  • "This is at least our fifth time at Brazilian Bull. As usual, the food was amazing and I thought that the service was quite a bit better than last time, which was saying something because it was good the first time. This time even better! We went with friends for an anniversary dinner and it was wonderful!"

  • "It took forever to be seated and then we were left without any service, even when we wanted to leave no one could get us a check. The meat selection was not close to the promise. There were inky six or seven types and they were not visiting tables often enough, we got tiered of waiting for food delivery so we just gave up. It took a whole evening to get a decent plate. The whole place seemed to be in chaos."

  • "Four of us had a GREAT time eating, talking and laughing. We were all impressed with Food and Service. Wine was great too. We will defiantly go back and bring new friends. What a great way to eat so many different things and yet not get over stuffed since you control on what you are eating. I believe it's a fun place to take friends and family from out of town too. It's different, what a great idea!"

  • "My wife had surgery and eats less than a small child and they charged her full price. I can eat normal but we sat and waited on food from the start. I asked for certain food for my wife and everything they brought was wrong, she can only eat chicken and the chicken only came by our table twice"

  • "Service was excellent. Meats were good but not all cuts available that were listed. However prime rib , lamb were excellent. Would like to see more picanha both garlic and others. Would like to see mashed potatoes versus being served rice. Fried bananas and cheese bread were good. Pineapple was excellent. Salad bar was OK. Desserts you paid extra for and they were excellent. Like to see more samples of cheeses as in other Brazilian steak houses but the price here is hard to beat. If you can afford Fogo then of course go there.. But 29.99 for dinner is hard to beat. Again, the service was great and they made paid special attention to my granddaughter so she had a lot of fun."

  • "I had been to a Brazilian Steak house in Vegas in the past so I was excited to go. The food was not as good as I remembered though and we had a really rude main waitress. She acted like the principal the way she spoke to us. The food servers were all very friendly and attentive. The meat was kind of all the same flavor, no additional sauces or seasonings to go with them. Pretty disappointing, I won't be going back."
    Dined on 5/2/2014
  • "The food was okay, however the wait time between meats was extremely long. Had to ask numerous times for more bananas. Picanah which is the house specialty in most brazilian restaurants was over cooked and wasn't readily available. "

  • "Had been to the restaurant a couple of times in the past and liked it.. Decided to go there for my daughter's 23rd birthday. Reservation duly made. Arrived and was not apprciated or recognized as an opentanle member. service was hasty at first and then no one served us at all towards the end of the meal. Had to wait 20 minutes to have someone bring out the meats that we had requested. A bit of a shame for a great place or so we thought. Had asked for a special cake treat for my daughter's birthday but saw nothing. Dissapointed by the experience....."

  • "Food at the salad bar was excellent! We were a little disappointed with the meat; the chicken and sausage were very dry, but the rest of the meats were seasoned just right and moist. When we asked for water with lemon, we were brought a large bottle of water, which we were charged for, and never received any lemon slices. Our glasses of water were not refilled in a timely manner. Overall we would try it again and hope the service will be better and the meats more moist."

  • "Found Brazilian Bull on a Google search after hearing from friends about how great the food is at most Brazilian steakhouses and the unique dining style. Tried a Texas de Brazil in Las Vegas, but wanted a cheaper alternative closer to home. The food is very tasty and the staff has been mostly helpful and friendly. We found certain servers to be friendlier and more willing to go that extra mile to make our visit more pleasant. A couple were very dry (unlike the food :)) and just kind of shuffled by without much interaction. For the most part, it was a very pleasant experience--which we've now repeated, and will again. If you want an inexpensive way to try something different--and you like beef--this is for you!"

  • "You need to bring around all meat items. Had to ask several times for items that were never brought out. When we started eat it was 45 minutes to and hour before we seen every type of item"
    Dined on 4/12/2014
  • "For a $45 per person bill, I was expecting a more stylish restaurant with waiters with more refinement in their work - some examples, crossing their arms across the table to pickup plates and serving from the wrong side of the client. Food was good but less than expected for what I thought would be a restaurant with very high standards in quality."
    Dined on 4/10/2014
  • "Not the experience I was expecting. Not terrible, but certainly not worth the price. Other restaurants with similar Brazilian themes which I have tried around the country were far better. Probably will not return."

  • "This was our first visit and we had a group of 10. The food and service were better than anticipated. Most all the participants said they would come back again with friends or relatives"

  • "The food was wonderful and it just kept coming! The servers were friendly. The drinks took too long but other than that it was great. I will definitely be back. This is not the least expensive restaurant you will go to, but worth every penny!"

  • "The price is reasonable and the quality of food was excellent. I like that there are a few (price) options for lunch. Save room for dessert-best desserts and variety!"

  • "Food was overly salted, waitress didn't know anything about the menu. Half of the meat on the list never even made it to the restaurant floor. Will never visit again."
    Dined on 3/15/2014
  • "I read about the restaurant online and thought I would try it. The salad bar was a disappointment. I was not impressed at all....they advertise something that is not there. The meat selection was good. I will say the prime rib and top sirloin were very tasty.....a little salty but good. The service was good but it might have been because there weren't to many people in the restaurant. They do have salmon which my wife enjoyed so I have to take her word for it. It was very dark but maybe that is the way they have it set up. If I had not been to a Brazilian restaurant prior to this review the results might have been a little different. Overall not bad but if you want a romantic/special occasion restaurant atmosphere don't go here."

  • "I live in WI., and my daughter mentioned she'd heard about this place. I was coming to visit her in AZ,, and planned to take her, and her husband and 10 month old son out for her birthday. I made a reservation with a couple requests, from WI. It was beyond my expectations! They explained how everything worked. We were in control of everything. We weren't rushed, and the food was great, and everyone was so friendly. They even sang Happy Birthday in Portuguese to my daughter!"

  • "I had company from out of town and decided to try this. We all had a wonderful time. The meal was served at our pace and we had all the time we wanted to catch up and have a conversation. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. We made reservations for 6:30 mid-week and it was perfect. Not crowded, or loud. I will be going again and letting everyone I know about it."
