  • "Took a teammate here to celebrate a great month of sales. Great place to celebrate. Highly recommend. I think the prices are good too!!"

  • "This was a great "experience" but I would probably not return. although the food was good, it wasn't great. And for the money, it was definitely not worth it. It was nice to sample many different foods and flavors, but this is a very overpriced restaurant. Would've been money better spent to go to Morton's or Flemings for a special occasion dinner. Drinks are incredibly overpriced as well."

  • "THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS TERRIFIC. HOWEVER, THE BEEF WAS COMPLETELY UNDERCOOKED. IT DIDN'T MATTER IF IT WAS A SIRLOIN OR FILET, "WELL DONE" REQUESTED MEATS WERE DRIPPING WITH BLOOD. THE EXTERIOR OF THE MEATS LOOKED NICE AND BROWN, HOWEVER, ONCE CUT INTO ON OUR PLATES, YOU COULD HEAR THE COWS STILL MOOING AND BLOOD RAN ACROSS THE PLATES!! IT WAS PRETTY DISGUSTING, AND DISRUPTIVE TO THE OTHER WELL PREPARED MEATS THAT WERE SOAKED SOON BY THE BLOOD. OTHER THAN THAT, THIS WAS A VERY NICE PLACE TO DINE AND CELEBRATE. KID FRIENDLY. STAFF VERY ACCOMODATING."

  • "The service was slow, we had to call them over to take our drink order after waiting more than five minutes. It took them about 15 minutes to get a particular meat type that we requested. The meat did not taste as good as previous occasions. One of our people pulled clear plastic out of one of the side dishes and the apology was rather hallow. They over charged us on the bill for two of us that only had salad, it was corrected. After we paid the bill and were about to leave they came over with the birthday desert, about 15 minutes late. We have eaten there before as well as several other Fogo de Chao locations and this by far was very disappointing in what we have come to expect from them. I hope it not their new standard."

  • "Authentic and Delicious. I tried not eating all day in preparation and still could not come close to tasting all the meat. Salad bar is great, drinks fantastic, and amazing service."

  • "OMG sooo much food! The food was amazing. A huge selection of meats and they keep your plate full. Big wine list. Good service for the most part, we had to wait 20 mins for our table, even with the reservation. "

  • "All I have to say is I ate at a restaurant like this in Prague, Czech Republic and Fogo de Chao in Scottsdale gave me the same experience as I received in Prague. My buddy and I had a great time. I'll definitely be back with more people!"

  • "It was our 20th wedding anniversary. Mentioned it when I made reservations and even saw it listed on the sheet of paper our server had when we were at the table. The server didn't make mention of our anniversary the entire night. The table next to us (different server) was also celebrating an anniversary and they were treated much differently. They received a wonderful anniversary wish and desert on painted plates to celebrate. Our server was too busy being self important to notice our special occasion. We went during restaurant week, but 1 member of our party ordered the regular menu in order to have the full experience of the menu. We had to ask and ask to have the different items he ordered delivered. They just kept walking past him. "

  • "Overpriced wine list, lousy service. Waiter was annoying, served fish dishes prior to even going to the salad bar. Meat was good. Will never go back."

  • "My husband and I have eaten here before however the first time was more memorable. Although the servicing of meat was good the sides could use some work. The mash potatos were nuck warm, the plantain were way to sweet, and the other thing was cold. "

  • "Visiting from mid-west and celebrating my sisters birthday. First time at Fago and we wanted to have a dining experience..wow what a time we had!! We made reservations on line and arrived at the restaurant early. We were seated immediately upon giving our name to the hostess. Taken to our table by a very friendly meat master and he explained to us how our dining experience was to be played out. We ordered wine, went to salad bar and turned our indicator to green for the main course to start!! We were surprised and a little overwhelmed at how fast things moved..there were always people coming and going from our table taking away things bringing more if this and that.. Loved the food and the overall experience!! Thanks for a great night!!"

  • "we had to ask for the meats. we have been to other brazilian steakhouses before, they were so much better. the meat was bland, salad bar wasnt that great, and service was okay at best."

  • "My family and I decided on Fogo de Chao to celebrate the completion of my Master's degree program. We are still talking about the great food and customer service. We joked about running to the nearest store to purchase stretchy pants, just to keep eating. The steaks were juicy and cooked just perfect. Thank you for making my day extra special. "

  • "The entire dinner is a smooth and an enjoyable experience! Marco, one of the Manager's, is superb!! Their salad bar alone is amazing. I brought three of our international Senior high students to Fogo De Chao in Scottsdale for a special dinner to celebrate their graduating. Service was A+ and the meats and side dishes were as delicious as on previous meals at this fine establishment. Fogo de Chao was exactly the right restaurant for this event. Each of the three dessert plates/glasses was wiped clean."

  • "We visit this restaurant each time we visit our son, and we always enjoy the excellent meal. Service of the house specialty meat selection was poor as one server seemed to focus with singularity on one guest table to the detriment of the others. However, in the end, the staff worked to correct the situation to our satisfaction and was very attentive."

  • "We had a good dinner at Fogo de Chao, but it wasn't special. I think the reason is that we dined on a weekday. Normally, that's the best time to go out, but it seems to be different with this place. The salad bar wasn't as fabulous as last time, and there were far fewer gauchos patrolling the dining room, so we wound settling for food that wasn't our first choice. I understand (now) why they would be forced to reduce the variety when the dining room is two-thirds empty. The food was good, though, so our group will give then another chance. It just won't be midweek."

  • "The Food was over salted, overpriced, Lamb had a vinegar taste. Noise level was horrible. Salad Bar mediocre. Banquet Food, poor quality. More quantity than Quality Food."

  • "My boyfriend and I make a point to try different cuisine and order things we've never had before. Fogo de Chao was fantastic. For $50 per person for all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse meat, we both felt like we got so much more than what we paid for in a great way. The flavors were amazing, our server was attentive and had great recommendations. Having just moved to the area he took the time to tell us about things to do and places to see. The beef ribs and filet were unbelievably good. Must try! And their chimichurri sauce is delicious! Date night, big group, family dinner, this is a great place to go!"

  • "The food is cooked and seasoned to perfection. The staff is friendly, attentive, and know what they are doing. My water glass was never empty and the gin&tonic I ordered was mixed perfectly! I took two friend out with me and we hardly spoke during the evening because we were too busy eating. I especially loved the bottom roast. I regret not going to the salad bar they have there because it looked incredible. I am coming here again. Thank you for a wonderful dining experiance!"

  • "We enjoyed our recent visit. The cuts of meat were very good, but the salad bar could have been better for a restaurant like this. I am from Brazil and I will not compare this restaurant to the original as it is not fair. I do think the overall experience is great and definitely worth the visit. Service is great, the food is great with plenty of choices."

  • "Of all Brazilian steakhouses, I've always favored Fogo de Chao in Chicago--hands down!! My experience in Scottsdale was extremely disappointing. Never had issues with service in Chicago. I was given things before I asked for them (clean plate, more water, more rolls, mashed potatoes, etc.). I had to hunt down our servers in Scottsdale....we were not getting all the meats even after we specifically asked for a certain cut. The meats were bland. Totally disappointed."

  • "Fogo de Chao has a highly unusual concept: letting diners choose from a raft of grilled meats, brought to you on skewers at intervals by a traveling series of waiters going from table to table. You can choose as much or as little as you want. The emphasis is on various cuts of steak, including filet minon, ribeye and sirloin, but the menu also features pork chops, ribs and chicken with sausage. Our party of three found the meats very good, especially the filet minon, which was practically butter-soft. The ambiance is wonderful - it's set in a big room with high ceilings, spacious and beautifully lit. And the service is impeccable, especially from the principal waiter who takes your drink orders and explains the ordering process."

  • "Little noisey Chips and salsa Would of been a nice compromise"

  • "They did nothing wrong, food was good, service was quick and efficient. Just had a feel like a Hometown Buffet (great place for my dad, just not my scene)"

  • "We arrived and were sat promptly but the hostess didn't mention "Happy Anniversary" even though the post it note stuck to the menu said "Wedding Anniversary". The server but didn't mention "Happy Anniversary" even though I pointed at the post it note and made the joke "It must be someone's anniversary". The staff was nice but not trained properly. A wine steward came over and asked if he could help with wine selection. I asked "is this a progressive wine list" and he gave me a puzzled look. I explained to my wife what a progressive wine list while he listened and all he could say was "I suggest a Malbec it goes well with our meat selections". The manager stopped by for a table touch but didn't wish us a Happy Anniversary. Can't recommend."

  • "Excellent choices, from salad bar to meats, excellent bar as well. You can over eat if you want to, but you can also eat healthy and in moderation. Seems like a good place to bring the whole family or a business dinner."

  • "This place has everything you want to eat. All the meats are cooked to perfection. The zucca was great and chunchier than french fries. The food brought back memories to my Brazillian friend. She was upset that there were no traditional Brazilian deserts. Lots of energy inside."

  • "The salad bar and sides are awesome....Meat is ok, but some was dry. All in all, this place used to be great, but it now overrated and over priced."
