  • "We visit once or twice a month, we love this place."

  • "The service and food were delicious. There was so many options my head was spinning, in a good way. Will definitely visit again."

  • "At the bar we were immediately greeted by a young man named Italo. Italo set the tone for the evening. He was professional, informative and funny. He suggested the house drink (cipirni) with a pineapple infused brazilian rum. He also suggested an appetizer (shrimp cocktail). Both were fantastic. This service extended into the dining area. Our servers Jason and Victoria were friendly and knowledgable. The meal was exceptional. The lamb chops were my favorite followed by a lamb t-bone (a first for me). My wife had Chilean sea bass... I have never seen her devour a piece of fish as fast as she did. She was amazed. $52 seems expensive until you realize how much is included. I found it to be a great value. Can't wait to return."

  • "Fogo has turned in to our "go to" restaurant in Philly when meeting friends. Excellent food and service with no surprises when the bill comes. Very relaxed ..never rushed. A perfect choice!!!"

  • "The food was amazing and the service was super fast and friendly!! At times, it was so fast that it was slightly overwhelming. But the meal was incredibly delicious! Stay away from the salad bar except one or two tiny sides. Divulge in their incredible 17 different meats they bring you. The picanha was my favorite for sure. The cost is very expensive, so be prepared to drop some dollars. Plus parking. The valet was $18+tip. We went for our anniversary and they gave us a complimentary dessert to help us celebrate. That was a nice touch and gesture, given how expensive the meal was! Overall I definitely recommend it for special occasions. Very very good!"

  • "So much food and each bite is better than the last. From smoked salmon at the upscale salad bar to the bacon wrapped filet mignon served tableside, you will leave more than satisfied. The service is stellar. The staff is most attentive to every detail where the different meats are offered tableside fast and furiously and the drinks are filled before empty. So much fun and so tasty. You get the best of everything with the delivery of all the different prepared steaks, sausage, and chicken so you never have one entrée and steal bites off your partner's plate. It truly is how a dining experience should be from a to z."

  • "This restaurant is incomparable- the food is amazing and the service is impeccable. Everyone is polite and you feel welcomed from the door. I fell in love with shiitake mushrooms after having them from the salad bar. The meats are seasoned, well presented and cooked to perfection. It is my favorite in the city. I went to a restaurant similar in concept located in NJ and it was awful- I will stick to Fogo from here on! Bring your appetite and don't volunteer to drive because you'll probably want to take a nap after this awesome dining experience."

  • "We received a gift card for $150 and assumed that would cover most if not all of the dinner for 2 however the bill was $160 for two people and no tip in there. $30 dollar and we were at $180. I am sorry for that price and in and out in 90 minutes I would have been happier at a real steak house like Ruth Chris, Morton's, Gallaghers, or even the Capital Grill.I will say that the experience is different. However, for the price we could have received a much better meal around the corner at the Capital Grill. I was trying to tell my wife I needed to go over to Geno's for a steak with but she would not have it so w went home.I think if you have never been it is different enough to go once. However, for the price anyplace is price."

  • "It was my first time dining at Fogo de Chao for my boyfriend's birthday and the waiters did not fail to make us feel special. Aside from the wonderfully fresh salad bar and the amazing, fast service of basically all you can eat top notch prepared meats, they even brought out a chocolate mousse cake at the end, beautifully adorned. It was truly the perfect experience- amazing service, amazing food. Could not have been any better!"

  • "This has been my second visit to Fogo de Chao. The food is always great and the staff is very helpful. One great thing about this place is that their staff works as a team. You don't have to wait for a single waiter to come around and there's always someone willing to help."

  • "Our dining experience was awesome! The salad bar was amazing, the sides were very complimentary to the meal and all of the meats were delicious!"

  • "As you know, this is a meat place. The quality of the meats was very good, but not amazing. The reason to go is that it is fun, especially for a group. Good energy level in a very large room. Servers circulate with spits of meat and arrive in a timely fashion to slice off a smallish piece (but as many times as you request) - this adds greatly to the novelty and fun of the place. You can go here in a suit or in jeans (and some were perhaps too casual) and it was packed. In my opinion, not a place for a romantic night out - more of a high end BBQ with a theme. Don't know if there was child pricing, and for those who don't eat much this is not appropriate. At $52.50 per person, it's not a place I'd go to frequently, but I will go again."

  • "We started out looking at the wine list, which is immense. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the list and recommended a moderately priced bottle that ended up being an awesome choice. The staff was very accommodating and quick to serve. The food bar offered a large selection and could easily satisfy on its own if you didn't want the meat option (and is half the price). The Gaucho service is practically non-stop if you keep your chip showing green and will quickly become overwhelmed with choice and quantity. I recommend flipping to red once you have a few choices on your plate so you can take time to thoroughly enjoy the deliciousness. Will definitely be back and happily make a recommendation to give Fogo de Chao a try."

  • "My husband, my in-laws, and I went to Fogo before the Billy Joel concert on Saturday night. The food was delicious, but everything was SO SALTY. I understand throwing some sea salt on the meat to add some flavoring, but it was like sodium overload. I couldn't get my wedding rings off within a few hours - that's how bloated with sodium I got! A waitress took our dessert order and then forgot to put it in, so we eventually got a free dessert once she realized her mistake (they really don't like to make you wait for anything there!). Overall, the food was good, but Fogo is definitely a "once a year" special occasion thing. My advice: drink lots and lots of water before and after your meal!!!"

  • "This is a chain, but service was as good as an owner managed outlet. Food excellent and good ambience. Mentioned in passing - just chatting - it was our anniversary soon (not an anniversary meal) and a free dessert arrived. If we were local would be regulars!"

  • "My daughter chose Fogo for her 17th birthday dinner. It was great! Food was wonderful as always. The service was good, they were a little busy so a few things fell through the cracks, refills, they forgot my husbands espresso, and they forgot to bring our young son a small plate that we asked for. But they were apologetic. Can't wait to return!"

  • "Although not a meat-eater, the salad bar and table-sharing "extras" is enough for a feast. Easy to over-eat on generous plates and delicious selections of every kind of salad one can imagine, breads and cheeses. Best to make a reservation as the restaurant fills up quickly and nobody seems to be in a hurry to leave."

  • "I really enjoy coming here. The food is always cooked to perfection. I like that I can get as much meat as I want. I would recommend for people who enjoy eating."

  • "With 16 different types of meat and a decent salad bar it is a meat lovers paradise. It is definitely pricey but worth it."

  • "Endless meat, the servers don't skip a beat. Everything in the salad / sides bar was fresh and paired great with the meat. One server notices my love for the lamp pops and always came straight to me when they were ready, I Loved That! Tip: Don't fill up on the side dishes, you will regret it ;)"

  • "Just had some loud, obnoxious and drunk people sitting behind us that we're extremely annoying, but everything else was great!"

  • "Salad bar is outstanding. everything looks fresh and is delicious. When you are ready the servers start coming around with the skewered meats and poultry. the meats are outstanding . The service is always great . The little cards on the table tell the servers if and when you are ready for the next round. otherwise the servers do not bother you"

  • "Fogo de Chao of course did not disappoint. I've been looking forward to come here with my sister for awhile. She was very pleased with the atmosphere and the food. I was very happy that she enjoyed herself so much. This would be my third time having come here, and as always, the food was great. The service was excellent as well. The servers were attentive but not overwhelming, and all were very nice."

  • "Spent Father's day and Second Boy's Dinner there recently and the food and service were A++! Love the salad bar and the Steak course is awesome! Server really seem to love what they do and take great care of their guests. Going to be a regular customer."

  • "A group of 6 educators went out together after a long day at conferences. We needed separate bar tabs, separate food tabs. We were the proverbial needy table :) the hostess was so sweet. The servers were so congenial and never missed a beat when we relayed our laundry list of particulars. Reviews rave about the amazing food and I'm not disagreeing. I just can't say enough of the people in the front of the house!! Thanks for a great first experience at Fogo de Chao!"

  • "Having been to 2 Brazilian barbecues in New York and over a dozen in Brazil, my wife is Brazilian and we were married there. We have been to the best New York and Sao Paulo have to offer and also been to the neighborhood stops in Sao Paulo as well. Fogo de Chao is better then all of them. The service is the best the salad bar is fresh and presents like your the first visitor. Finally the meat is perfect!!!! All selections are cooked to a perfect medium rare or more if desired. They are all served hot. Make sure you save your appetite for the cuts you prefer. All servers will approach when prompted by the green card but if they are not offering what you are looking for just ask them the send the cut you prefer and shortly you will have it."

  • "Good food; great service (everytime you turn over your card to Green, there is a swarm of waiters ready to serve you). And, we always appreciate the great awreness of the staff to gluten allergies, and the wide variety of their menu that is gluten-free"

  • "I took my daughter and her boyfriend to celebrate the young man's 21st birthday. It was a perfect choice for the occasion. We found the service to be excellent, attentive and helpful. The salad bar was wonderful; clean, fresh, varied offerings. Guests are sometimes advised to neglect the salad bar in favor of the meats, but I found that the meat was so rich that the salad bar was a welcome respite. The meats were varied and came at a quick clip. You need to pace yourself. They were good but a bit salty. For the right crowd, this place is a winner. I would actually consider returning at lunch for just the salad bar."

  • "A must just for the experience of dining at a brazilian steakhouse. Skip the salad bar, although extensive; and save yourself for the impressive array of meats carved table side. Must be a true carnivor to appreciate this type of dining."

  • "My family frequents this restaurant. We love the food and the service. We have been to other Fogo's around the US and this one sticks out for service, it's the best."

  • "Group of 4. Tried 12 of the 17 menu offerings. Pace yourself or you'll burst in 10 minutes. The salad bar is amazing but don't get sucked in. You came here for meat...and there is plenty. The servers are pros! And they are attentive. Slow down and chew your food. No one is rushing you out the door. Get another wine/beer/cocktail. The filet and rib eye were our favorite selections. I had leg of lamb and lamp chops by myself. They were both perfect. Dessert-creme brulee. Don't hestitate, get it. Great spot for a larger party. Everybody will have a great time It's a fixed price. Drinks and dessert extra, but fairly priced"

  • "Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse is excellent. Combining the quality off food and service of higher end resturaunts, with the accesibilty of less formal resturaunts, Fogo de Chao really shines. The food is absoulutly wonderful, the only advice I might give is to go light on the salad bar and be sure to really enjoy the meat!"

  • "This is a great place when you want to get your carnivore on. The food is wonderful, the wine selection is magnificent and they can help you do the perfect pairing. The service was great and we didn't go without food in our plate for very long at all. The Papaya cream dessert helped us digest all the protein and the after dinner ice wine was a sweet finish to this gastronomic delight. Oh yeah, the salad bar is one of the best in the city even though I refuse to waste stomach room on vegetation. Go to Fogo when you want a hearty, delicious meal or when your protein intake has been running low."

  • "I have eaten at other Fogos around country, this one is subpar. Meats were poorly seasoned, lamb was poorly cooked and of a substandard grade. Service staff was poor. Had to wait 20 minutes from clearing table to get bill. Asked three different people before getting up to is manager. Probably won't return here."

  • "The limeaid is fantastic. Great meal, but if I had to choose, I would go to a Texas de Brasil instead; they have a better salad bar and hot bar."
