  • "I've been here a few times in the past during restaurant week. Its usually a chaotic mess but this time my experience was much better. The restaurant was about 3/4 full. A steady stream going in and out. The best part was the wait stuff was not overwhelmed and I got much better service and meats. Maybe a little too attentive. I felt like everyone that walked by was checking in on me. but it was a good meal and i'll be back."

  • "We were seated almost immediately upon arrival and the people there were so friendly. They explained how everything worked and got us started. Once we turned over our green cards we were surrounded by all the chefs with the meat. I did not leave disappointed except for the fact that I didn't save room for dessert!"

  • "Three of us went there on a Wednesday night and it was hopping. Great food, and even a vegetarian could survive on the salad bar. All the meats are amazing and the fried bananas are so good you won't need desert."

  • "The salad bar is beautiful and flavorful and can be purchased seperately from the meats. Every meat I tried was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The creme brulee was perfect, like Kincaids. It was a great bday party."

  • "Fun to try a different kind of restaurant! Great service and good food! Impossible to leave hungry!"

  • "Good experience overall but reinforced the advice from my professional chef and foodie friends that whatever the flavor experience of a given food item, after three bites of something, it is all just intake. Food offerings were solidly good but the sheer mass of food was western hemisphere gluttony at its finest. The wait-staff was extraordinarily polite and attentive and given the number of patrons they had on the floor (there must have been 350 to 400 seated) they did a remarkable job. It was a special occasion for us (anniversary) and they surprised us by comping a shared dessert. An interesting dining experience that we were eager to try but that curiosity seems to be well-sated now. Probably won't go back."

  • "Loved everything from the salad bar to the loads of meat."

  • "Easy location, very nice interior and alot of seating for any size group. Service was perfection. Never an empty glass or plate. All food was tops for flavor and temperature along with salad bar being a wonderful set of choices. The whole evening was perfect for us with no complaints. Be hungry when you go and ready to spend a little more on your meal and drinks but worth it for a change."

  • "I guess I just don't get all the excitement about this place. Save your money and go to Old Country Buffet if you are looking for all you can eat. The quality of meat is no way worth the price. Salad bar had some good offerings, but the overall experience for the price wasn't good."

  • "We had a group of 7 with a reservation 3 months in advance. We were seated shortly after our reservation time and the entire restaurant was packed making it very hard to even get to the salad bar which was in another from us. The tableside service started out very good. However, it quickly declined. Our drink order was taken at the beginning of the meal but nobody ever came back to see if we would like a second round. After the meat started coming it was hard to get a new plate and by the time we were ready for a dessert menu several of the "team" waiters just walked by us without even offering a dessert menu. It was hard to even get someone attention so we could get our bill."

  • "Made a reservation a couple days a head of time, no problem getting a table for the none of us. The food was spectacular! I do not think it could have been better. All the choices and the wait staff bringing the different types of meats around made for a good time. I do have to say that i felt a little crowded however. I feel like the ambience could be improved if a couple of tables were removed, the number of chairs made it tough to get around to the salad bar. All-in-all I would highly recommend it!"

  • "First timers with another couple. Fascinating concept and much to look at. Salad bar was gorgeous...very crowded with customers , servers and busboys all sharing same narrow passages at once. Quite chaotic. Walking to/from/around salad bar was challenging. Wait staff was very attentive, meats delicious and, well, VERY plentiful. Restaurant is very popular and exceptionally busy. Very expensive, but the food is worth it. Impossible to have a conversation as the servers are constantly interrupting, not simply those who present a slices of meat, but other staff continually asking unnecessary questions ...is anyone celebrating anything special (3 different people asked), how are things tasting (countless), are you still "working"? etc, etc, e"

  • "I've been to several Brazilian steakhouses around the country, and this is the nicest one for ambience, decor, and service. The salad bar was beautifully arranged, and tasty. I thought the meat offerings were heavy on the beef, but it was very well prepared. And when I mentioned to the server that I had been hoping for some lamb, they sent some our way within 10 min. We will definitely be back."

  • "This is my 3rd trip here but first time to have lunch. Just as good as dinner but cheaper on the wallet and the service is faster then at night. Still busy but not as busy with lines of people waiting for a table on a Friday night. I will go back for lunch for sure."

  • "The opportunity to taste several different meats and flavors at one meal. Including a salad bar that would be considered a full coarse on its own. Recommend pacing your self and take smaller portions to start. You don't want to fill out before trying a verity to see which you like best. Can be spendy but great for that special family occasion."

  • "There for a combination birthday party, engagement announcement. Staff was more excited about the two events than we were. Complimentary deserts and 5 star service all aroiund. Reservation was made for 1 PM and the pager went off precisely at 1 PM. Railroads arent that efficient. Prompt service and almost non stop attention from members of the staff made for a great meal. It was busy for a week day lunch which surprised us, but the food was highest quality and plentiful while the service was prompt and very courteous. This was exactly what you would expect when you expect the best. Not a lot of places can deliver that anymore but these folks sure can."

  • "Carnivores will enjoy it. It is quite loud; not for romance, or the hard of hearing. Fun for a group. The salad bar was very good and extensive. The Wine and drinks are WAY over priced. Quality and preparation of meats varied too much for cost. 5 of us had 3 drinks (cocktails/wine), 2 desserts, water (no soda) and the meal. With the tip it was $75+ per person. For that kind of cash you can eat far better in any number of places. But it was a fun experience and something different and everyone enjoyed themselves. In reference to some of the other negative reviews. We did not experience some of those issues. We did not have to wait at all, as some of the reviews indicated. And our service was just a tiny bit short of exceptional."

  • "If you love meat, I can't recommend this place enough. Just don't fill up at the salad bar first! Try the bacon-wrapped filet mignon and the house special. Those were my personal favorites."

  • "Honestly, I've eaten at this restaurant several times but the last two times I feel like they're off their game. When you flip that card food used to show up regularly. There was several times where we had to wait for 10+ minutes for the next round of any food to come. It was a pretty slow Sunday afternoon I would expect it to be different. The servers are always superb and attentive. They will always get you the food you request but honestly they shouldn't have to do that as often as they should. With all that being said, the food is always great."

  • "Thank goodness a server at another restaurant warned us not to order the salad bar at this restaurant. The servers DO NOT explain that the salad bar is an additional cost (over $20 each person) and just "suggest" that you enjoy the salad bar. You will be surprised when you see it on your bill! The meat is good and plentiful. The included sides are "okay". The mashed potatoes are bland and the polenta is shaped like french fries. The plaintains were the best side dish. Desserts are HUGE. All in all, this was a fun place to visit but not sure we would go back."

  • "Our expectations were not that high, but we left very disappointed. Our initial thought was a slight step up from Old Country Buffet. Diners managed to show up in jean jackets, baseball caps, 12 year old white sneakers, etc. The bar had no room, cold entry way for waiting, poor service, food was average at best. In addition, the valet service managed to lose our vehicle and finally returned it 40 minutes after presenting our ticket. I have never been to such a dump that believes it should cost $350 for a party of four dining experience. I wouldn't eat here again if it was free."

  • "A true experience! If you love food, try this one. In the words of our son-in-law, "It rained meat!""

  • "It was an interesting experience, but not one that I will probably repeat. For starters our table was not ready when we arrived. Now if we had been a mid or late evening reservation, I could understand a short wait of a table, but not at 5:30. The salad bar was attractive, but I was unable to find anything really special there. The wine list, while extensive was extremely over priced – I expect to pay 2 to 3 times retail for a bottle of wine in a restaurant, not 4 times! The side dishes were limited, mediocre at best and cold. As for the meat – Beef, Chicken, Lamb, and Pork, there was nothing special. The meat is served at such frenzy you are almost made to feel like you are in an eating contest."

  • "Fogo is my go to every year for restaurant week. Very happy with the food. New items added to the salad bar. The only negative was the 40 minute wait time despite having a reservation and the mediocre service received. Despite requesting specific items, it took asking several servers before actually receiving. Not fun to wait when you've already waited 40 min just to be seated."

  • "It was a fun experience and great food. A couple of negatives were the fact we had not talked to anyone who had gone before. We did not realize it was one price. I even had the menu at home and no where did it suggest it was one price. It was much more expensive then I would have chosen for the mother/daughter weekend we had planned with friends. Because we were going to an event I made a reservation for 5:30. We did not get seated until @ 6:00. This tells me they over booked the 5:30 spot. We were then rushing through our lovely (expensive) meal leaving 45 minutes later. That was a little unfair. We were never asked if we wanted a second glass of wine until we were ready to ask for the check. I would still go back but with my husband."

  • "The best part about the place was the assortment of foods that they had available. great atmosphere and a lot of fun. The hostess was great. Had red hair and was the best part of the experience."

  • "I went to Fogo de Chao at the beginning of Restaurant Week and realized how crazy busy they are. Reservations made at 7 pm and were told they were running 15 minutes behind but didn't get seated until 7:40 due to the crowd. The hostess apologized but wasn't as courteous with other diners. The salad bar was my favorite. Service wasn't as attentive as it should be for a restaurant this caliber. Our plates were stacked high and took awhile before they were cleared. The staff didn't notice the side dishes ran out and only replaced the cheese puffs until the very end, when our group was ready to leave. The restaurant, staff, food, and service didn't "wow" us enough for a return trip."

  • "I have never been disappointed in Fogo. The management cares, the servers do their best to make your evening special and the food is excellent. The team has also started to do a better job of finding cuts of meat done just like the guest wants, rather than giving the closest they have with them. Thank you as always Fogo!!!"

  • "We had reservations but because of weather we were late, no problem they were more than happy to seat us. The wait staff were wonderful. Would highly recommend the signature drink. Our favorite meat was the bottom steak. The taste was wonderful. Don't eat too much because you have to have the key lime pie. Again I use the word wonderful, but there is nothing else that describes the food!"

  • "The family went for my dad's 75th birthday. Some if us had been and some of us had not. The experience and service were amazing. My dad was also given a free dessert which was so good. Lava cake. We had a great time."

  • "I had made a reservation and was seated 30 minutes after the reservation time. I was told at check-in that they were running behind. The food was average, service slightly below average. Toward the end of our meal my son requested lamb as none had been served. The message was sent through 5 different wait staff, and it finally came > 30 minutes later. The salad bar was average, and most of the meat selections brought to our table were good, not outstanding."

  • "We absolutely loved the food and the service was excellent. We go at lunch because it is less expensive, but cannot believe that the lunch price is now $32.50. Wow! We will still go there for special occasions. The only thing I would like to see them add that another similar restaurant has is the grilled pineapple. Yum."

  • "Something has changed about this place- We hadn't been in about a year and the steak just wasn't as good as we remembered it. The real kicked was my mother in law was sitting down to eat her salad bar and a piece of glass (looked like from a beer bottle) was in her salad! 2-3 pieces actually. We called over the waiter, who brought over the manager, and for such a "high end" restaurant which we have had great service in the past I couldn't believe all they did was give us a dessert (after we already ordered one and told them we didn't need another dessert). Instead of comping the dessert we ordered, or better yet, COMPING THE SALAD BAR W/ THE BROKEN GLASS, we got a dessert that no one wanted. Wow, won't be back and won't recommend anymore."

  • "The food was great and the service was continuous. If you like meat and more meat then this is your place. I personally like a little more than just that. The salad bar was ok, but it wasn't really a salad bar so much as a cold sides bar. I really like salad and veggies for sides, so I wished they had more there. The meat itself was really really good."
    Dined on 2/15/2014
  • "The salad bar is as awesome as everyone says. There is a wide variety of vegetables and salads to pick from. The service for meat is crazy fast and it is very exciting to see it for the first time. However, once the rush of the stop/go cards has left and you actually begin tasting the meat you are left with an over salted product. All the meats started to taste the same, regardless of the cut or type. The first few were great but then you realize it isn't the meat it is just the salt. I would recommend this place for someone who is more going for the experience rather than the food. The salad bar is amazing, the drinks are strong, and the meat is salty. The servers were lovely and helpful but often slow due to the amount of people."

  • "My husband and I went to celebrate his birthday for the first time and we had a great time! The meat are all cooked so perfectly, they have a big salad bar, great drink selection, and wonderful servers! It is still fairly pricey and I would not recommend this place for kids. But for the amount of food you get and the service, it's most definitely worth it!"
