The food is very tasty and the service is very attentive and friendly. This is a great spot for a large group getting together for a celebration as the room is large and open plus there is a great choice for everyone!

Every time I came back from the salad bar someone was there to seat me and push my chair back in. If the meat was too rare, they would cook it to your desire and bring it back out to you. The food was amazing, and the meat was so flavorful you did not need to add anything. We were there at 4:30 on a Saturday, and within 20 minutes, I did not see an empty table in the place. Since this place offers only a set meal price, I would say it's not a great value for someone with a small appetite. However, for those who can really pack it away, you can really get your money's worth of excellent quality beef. Everyone is fantastic, from the hosts/hostesses, wait staff, to the meat servers. We always get to spend some time speaking to the manager as well, and he makes us feel right at home. The food is second to none, always hot and delicious, with so many meat options that anyone would be satisfied there (not to mention the fantastic salad bar!) The different experience was interesting and would recommend experiencing this. Don't do this on a night where you have any other plans. The meat servers were sporadic. Either you had 4-5 fighting to serve you or there was no one. I could not resist the temptation to way over-eat. My fault, I know, but the style of service fosters it.

We will go back!4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMThe service was outstanding,The service was outstanding, it restored my faith in the ultimate dining experience. They were well staffed to allow for top level service and expressed at the greeting that everyone was there to serve whatever needs the diner may have and to ask anyone for what you might like. We had two managers who routinely came by asked if we had any special needs and multiple staff who ensured quietly that we had full glasses and clean plates The food itself was outstanding. Interestingly on a few occasions as the servers delivering the meat came around, they stopped and indicated the meat was not as warm as they would like to serve and they would be right back with a fresh serving.

Everything feels like it's first class all the way. The wait staff is attentive and incredibly personable. The food is nothing short of excellent. The only real issue we had with the downtown Minneapolis location was that our reservation was for seven and we weren't seated until quarter to eight. Even on as busy a night as we went, you'd expect a short wait, but forty five minutes is rather lengthy when you have reservations. I finally took my girlfriend there for her 25th birthday. We always debate what is better, to receive perfect food or perfect service. At fogo de Chao everyone works for everyone, so your server comes often, and so do others too. They often ask you if there is anything inparticular that you are looking for (12 cuts of meat). The majority of the time I couldn't hear what the butchers were saying, I just nodded and obliged. It would have been nice to have a card or something and they could check what you were sampling. The butchers were never short on their visits either, at one point I may have had five different meat items on my plate. Lamb chops, and rare filet!!!3/9/2013 12:00:00 AM
